Nice!”
The taxi driver don't know how to find this place and Google map cant use here. But manage to find the place with the help from information booth in Hanok Village. We enjoy last day of 2016 and celebrate the new year together with other guest and host. But sadly this guesthouse is no more for business. Hope can see them next time.

Great hostel”
A small hostel but it was a great place to stay! The host, Beom, is a really nice guy, he can speak very well English, so no worries for foreign travelers and he recommended us places to go and eat in jeonju. Attractions are just within walking distance.

Convenient location, phenomenal host”
Carpe Diem is a small hostel, with two rooms and ten beds. I had an amazing experience here, in no small part due to the proprietor -- a young man named Boem who is a consummate host and never ceased to go out of his way to make my stay a memorable one. He took my hostelmates out to meals at several local hotspots, in addition to introducing us to the distinctly Jeonju way of drinking makgeolli and beer. A local of Jeonju, he delights in sharing his hometown with travelers. The building is an interesting hanok-style house that has been renovated and re-purposed as a hostel. The bathrooms are distinctly un-modern, but chalk it up to the experience of staying in a historical home. Overall: if you absolutely need to have top-shelf facilities and amenities, maybe consider a different hostel (hell, just spring for a hotel). Otherwise, don't hesitate to book Carpe Diem, especially if Boem is around.

Ashley was sensational. Great food reccs, and so personable and responsive. The hostel is super comfy, great location(just a short walk to the village and most things), super fast wifi, clean, hot water... Awesome value. As a fellow backpacker, Ashley does a great job as a host and I highly recommend this business.

cozy and friendly atmosphere”
friendly host, good location, useful advice
The host is very nice and be able to give me useful tips to let me strolling around to see the traditional village in jeonju inthe late afternoon. Must ask her for the recommendation of food, especially the famous rice dish serving in a hot stone bowl.(what is it in korean?) we had a nice chat with the host and other guests that night! Do remember she is not a lonely nun/monk! I really appreciate how optimistic she is when knowing one of the korean guests left such an impolite review. Hope she will have her journey overseas very soon. Be a big fan of travelling, she can already make her dream come true by running a guesthouse in her country!

Superb!!”
Ashley the owner, location, cleanliness
The best thing of this hostel is the very friendly host - Ashley!! We came to Jeonju without exactly idea of what to do, as soon as we arrived the hostel she introduced a lot of good spots(food) to us right away. Basically she made an itinerary for us i can say. Also, it's a very warm hostel as we visited in the winter, comfy bed too! A good place to make friends, I'll definitely come back again ;D
