Pool issues”
The swimming pool can be improved since the chlorine content of the pool was too strong but overall, our vacation and stay at the hotel was great

not worth the money”
chose this hotel because it's pet friendly.. PERIOD disadvantages: -we booked for a superior queen and end up staying on a deluxe queen with no balcony and no view of taal (because it's located on the 1st floor with trees blocking the view.) -door lock not convenient, their door lock on deluxe and superior queen rooms are same as the door locks on malls. keyhole is on the foot of the door. -lots of insects -steep road and no lights -far from city center of Tagaytay where restaurants are -poor furniture quality -poor quality (wall, ceiling, paints etc), given that the building was built just 3 years ago. - heater is broken. (and they will not inform you upon check in).. need to go to other rooms to take a bath. -breakfast is really bad -coffee tastes bad too advantages -staff are very considerate/ helpful and accommodating -good view from dining and pool area -pet friendly -allows ate checkout

Very relaxing”
Staff are all helpful, very much willing to help with everything. Booked suite but i was expecting a bigger room. Arrived late and staff was waiting for us. Not much space for parking. Breakfast was also just simple.

Not worth the money”
Definitely won't be coming back! Its a total rip off! We stayed in the King Suite (most expensive room hoping to be the best). Room - curtain immovable; there's leak in the bathroom; hot water not working in the shower; we stayed for 2days but theres no offer to clean our room or change towels; Food - limited choices. Area is dusty. Even better if place will be well maintained. Pool and its view is good though. Staff needs to be well-trained. Looks like they have a business of their own. Not minding their customers unless asked.

A night at Casa”
The staff were very very kind, corteous and accommodating. If it weren't for them, the stay would be a total mess. Casa alegria seemed to be super nice had it been well maintained. It looked like an abandoned hotel..The facilities was not what we were expecting. I could get more value on what I paid on other hotels. Although the scenery was a complete aghast. Hopefully the owmer would spend more time to check and renovate the place kasi sayang. Ang ganda sana...

Quite a nice place to stay”
I booked this because I saw from the pictures that it has a great view of the Taal Lake and volcano. We were so happy when we arrived since the first you will see when you enter is the breathtaking view! :) We booked three rooms -- King Suite and Superior rooms which have great views, and the Family room which is just beside the pool. If you're with an elderly like us, you better ask the staff beforehand to place you in a room at the same level as the car park so that your grandparents won't need to go down or climb up the stairs. Tip: King Suite and Superior are at the same level as the car park, and the Family room is one level down. Each room has a different theme. For the Superior Room, the toilet is equipped with a Japanese bowl with these fancy buttons to clean your you-know-what haha. And for the King Suite, it is huge! Like 4 persons can do a yoga in the free space. Cool, huh? :) The room has a contemporary feel and the toilet comes with a bathtub. Family room is normal but the good thing is, it has a private room which house the queen-sized bed, and outside are the two single beds, thus providing a sense of personal space for a large group. Did I mention that all the rooms have 1 sofa bed? Plus point! For those into staycation, they have cables installed, and the King Suite room even have a Smart TV where you can watch YouTube, Netflix or Toggle! Although slow, there is free wifi by the way. :) What I didn't like about this hotel is that, in the King Suite, the bathtub was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived, and there are lots of mosquitoes. :( Luckily though, the staff are helpful whenever we ask them for something. They immediately cleaned the bathtub (although, it has some leaks whenever we drain it which is alright), sprayed an anti-mosquito repellent (might be an all-natural spray since it smells citrusy and there is no need to go out of the room to wait for a few mins), and tied up the curtains for us to see the view from the window. Anothe

Could have been better if..”
a) They kept the infinity pool cleaner. There were bugs and leaves. b) The fountain of the pool was turned on most of the time. c) Room 6 had stronger water supply. The shower was weak. d) Hygiene kits were fully provided (toothbrush and toothpaste) e) Some drinking water were provided f) For the size of the room, at least a 2.5HP aircon was installed g) The bathtub wasn't leaky h) The water supply didn't run out from time to time i) Some security guard was at the gate for when visitors went out late

Stay away from this place”
The location and perhaps the efforts of the staffs are the only positive things of this stay. The facilities are awful - they don't even have keys to the room! So you'll have to leave the room unlocked when you leave the room. The place is dirty and the food is totally unacceptable. This place should be taken out of agoda's choices if they wish to protect their reputation.
