      Lovely view!”

We checked in at King Suite. I love the room and the place. They have limited food selection though but they have yummy breakfasts. The wifi was weak at the king suite. But nonetheless, the place was so relaxing even though it rains at that time we were there. Infinity pool is awesome!

      VERY DISAPPOINTED”

We booked a King Suite expecting it to be good because of the price but boy were we wrong. When we arrived at 2:30, I expected the room to be ready already since we were expected to arrive at 2pm but still they asked us to wait for 10-15 min. The King room was so disappointing considering it was pricey. The glass doors were dirty, the tables were dusty. The floors in the whole room was just plain cemented. Not enough toiletries for two people. No electric socket in the room! You have to charge at the extension cord at the side of the television. There are cracks on the ceiling. There was no water at the sink’s faucet. The water flow at the shower were also weak. When we told the staff about it, they fixed the room while we were inside. Maintenance coming in and out of the room without knocking. It stayed like this for 2 hours before they decided to transfer us temporarily to other room which is very hassle btw. We were not a bit relaxed the whole afternoon. They fini

Everything was perfect, except for food. For 3 days, we can only order Breakfast Menu (Tapsilog, Tocilog and Langosilog). It will be nice if they hire a cook who can prepare the foods stated on their menu.

definitely not a value for the money. The place need a lot of maintenance, rust are every where. facilities are poorly maintain the pool is very cold. its over rated for its price. although our room was super clean and cozy and the staffs are very helpful.

Casa Alegria is perfect choice for a retreat if looking for peace and quiet”

Casa Alegria isn’t hard to find. We are on commute when we went there. Just took one of those yellow tricycles beside 7-Eleven in Olivarez. Checking in here is hassle free. Room is simple and very clean. One of the good things about Casa is that they only have 8 rooms I think so it wont seem crowded and the place is really quiet except for the sound of passing vehicles. We had the pool just to ourselves in the morning. View is breathtaking!!!! Pool is really nice! Breakfast is good! Especially their barako coffee! Maybe the only downer is wifi is only available at the dining/restaurant area and during our stay it is down. The signal is also weak especially inside the room so you wouldn't be able to use data. But other than that, i find everything is good. The best thing about Casa are the staff! They are so accommodating and very polite! At first we were reluctant to stay due to mix reviews, but upon staying here we only have good words to say about this place! ❤️👍🏻👍🏻

nice location. should have a mop inside to keep floors tidy specially when it becomes wet after children used the pool. wifi is only at the restaurant/lobby and none at each room. phone signal is weak so not advisable if you have some bit of work that demands being online.

      Great view”

View from the property is amazing. In terms of the rooms, needs renovation. The linens and pillows are standard hotel quality which is good. Food is ok but very limited choices. Location wise is a bit challenging because of the steep curve so make sure to have good driver. Overall a good option in the area.

      It was okay.”

The view was very beautiful (worth the sharp curves on the road haha). i can say that it was not well maintained. There were stains in the bathroom of the room. The mattresses were kind of uncomfortable. The door had a damage so it became the entrance for the moths to enter the room. And there were A LOT. Tho, the staff were very nice and helpful! Breakfast was good. The pool is clean! No scent of chlorine. Tiles were not greasy or what. You can tell that it was maintained. We enjoyed our stay because of the view, pool, friendly staff and most importantly, pets are allowed. For the price, its a bit high for what was offered. But it was a great experience. Very peaceful and beautiful. Thank you. ☺️

      Splendid💛”

If you are looking for the best place to relax and unwind, Casa Alegria could be your top choice. Located near Tagaytay town proper, about an hour and a half from the Metro's histle and bustle. Together with my beau, we celebrated our 4th anniversary, and I can definitely say that the place is very romantic. Star gazing is perfect matching the tranquility of the area. The infinity pool is so cool, plus its not too deep, just perfect for those who cant swim like ME!🤣 We really enjoyed the sauna experience without extra charges. All of their staff are very acommodating and attend to all of our needs right away. Foods are a bit expensive but at least everything tastes awesome! However, I just had some minor issues, such as the rooms or the entire hotel needs to be refurbished and repainted. Our room, a Queen deluxe if am not mistaken, is very spacious, the AC is working very good, but to remind you, it will take you about a minute or two to lock and unlock the door since its done manually and its a bit ristic already. The door locks must be replaced by key cards I suggest. The television is not strategically placed where you can watch it while you were lying on your bed, plus the remote isnt working. The bathroom is clean, but I think the shower is clogged, tiny bits of soil or debris were coming out from the shower and faucet upon turning them on. Theres a lot of cabinets and electric sockets inside our room too. Btw, they have a very small parking space that I think can only fit 2 cars. 💛 Surely, I will come back to Casa alegria.😉👌

      Weekend hideout!”

The place was a legit chill retreat perfect for days when you just need a breather. Just remember to come with the things you need (in our case, snacks) since the place is a bit distant from the city proper and the menu doesn't really give you a lot of options. All in all, it was a great experience and we hope to return soon!

Great view of Taal.. but needs to improve cleanliness”

A pleasant stay as the staff was very accommodating, the weather was perfect and the view of Taal was one of the best. However, needs to improve in cleanliness. Noticed that the bathroom was not so clean - the soap that the previous guest used was still there, the empty tissue roll was still in the tissue holder. Also, there was no exhaust or proper ventilation in the toilet area - you can open the window but then insects might come in uninvited. Better bring your own toiletries too. There are many ants (perhaps because of the area being surrounded by fruit bearing trees) but not so much inside the room - however there are parts where you can see the dead ants on the floor that should have been cleaned prior to letting us enter the room. I'm not sure if they were in a hurry because we arrived early but we were happy to wait until they have cleaned the room properly. Also it was odd that the lock on the door was at the bottom of the door (it was a glass door).

This is one of the hidden gems of Tagaytay. Definitely worth checking out. It's a very intimate place (I think only 8 rooms in the entire hotel). But it had all the little necessities that you needed, and a small pool. Room size was ok, and bed was very comfortable. The staff were superb.

I love the lake view from our room and the pool. The staff here are very accommodating and polite. Great view but the place needs basic housekeeping”

Great view of the lake and volcano. This place needs some basic upkeep - painting of walls, regular cleaning of cigarette butts in the potted plants, repair of ceiling at the pool area, chipped tables and benches. Place cups and glasses in the rooms. There's a kettle but no cups. Weird. Put a trash can in the kitchen, a microwave oven, and a mini-fridge. Room #1 had a faint smell of urine. The a/c worked well. Water pressure was good and there was a heater. The breakfast and coffee is decent. I had tocilog and the quality is like Pampanga's Best. Warning: This place is right by the road so there's a lot of noise from vehicles and motorcycles going up the slope.
