Near to public transport ”
Near to the Chinatown tramline station and there is convenience store nearby. Overall stay is okay!
Superb!! Will stay here again”
7E is just a few walks away from the hostel. Kankodori Station, Starbucks and shopping arcades are just around the corner too. Location wise, very strategic. The dorm is generally clean and very spacey, so you will have more than enough space to pack your things. And the best thing about this hostel is the 3-day discount pass that they give to all guests. This pass will give you up to 50% discounts for popular attraction like Atomic Bomb Museum, Dejima, Mount Inasa Ropeway, etc. I really saved a lot of money here
Really good location and value for money. The bed was comfortable, there was a storage locker for your personal belongings. The hostel reception is a Taiwanese (淑敏 ) she can speak in Mandarin which make me felt very friendly.
I think it would be hard to find a better location than that. It is centrally located and right across a small street of a 7 eleven. Very friendly staff. The beds where ok but the number of showers very low. On the other side I did never have to wait. With a bit of decorations the stairs would be less 'cold'.
A place for rest after long hours walking”
The hostel is quite near to Nagasaki Chinatown and other attractions, either by city tram or walking (~2km walk). Nearest tram station is about 250m away. Room is quite ok, however be advised, if you’re traveling with big luggages, be prepared to hike to the stairs as there is no elevator available. (My room was at 5th floor). Room is kinda cold, and they are no curtains at your bed, so you just sleep it out. The bed also creaks since it is wooden, so you need to mind that as well. Breakfast is available; toast and coffee/tea, which you can prepare yourself. Staff is friendly and they can accomodate you in English. Overall a good place for its location.
Close to the heart of Nagasaki's entertainment district - Hamanomachi.”
Very easy to navigate around Nagasaki due to its proximity around areas like Shinchimachi - Chinatown and Hamanomachi shopping district. Nagasaki Station is also accessible via tram nearby Shinchimachi tram stop.
Cozy place near awesome foods”
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location is great. Only a 3 min walk from the tram stop and there's plenty of food from champon to izakaya to Turkish rice. There's definitely more to choose from here than near Nagasaki station. The facilities are very clean and the vibe is great.
Hard beds, loud neighbours”
This hostel is new, nice, sociable and the staff is friendly. The location is great and the kitchen is very well equiped. Sadly they saved on the matresses, you basically do not have one and I found it very hard to sleep there. Also, the walls do not reach the ceiling and you will hear every sound from the people in the other rooms. There is a decent common area (no sofas) but people decided to come back at 3 am and have a party in their room. Sadly, I would not stay here until they buy matresses and make sure guest understand quiet times.
Near main interchange tram station”
Easy to find and near main interchange tram station. You can buy tram one day pass in nearby hotel. Clean. No elevator and the staff did not help carry the luggage. The twin female room is well designed with reasonable room, table and chairs. The bed is also nice. The first double deck bed on which I could roll over without making noise.
This was a great hostel in an excellent location. It's right by a very convenient tram station, and it's within walking distance of the Chinatown and other attractions. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was that I wish it would have been a bit cheaper since I was travelling on a budget, but when it came down to it, they gave very good service and were helpful.
Wonderful stay at Casa Blanca. The location is excellent for sightseeing. Dejima and Chinatown are right beside it, the Dutch slope and Seaside Park are 15 minutes away, and the tram is just around the corner if your destination is Glover Gardens/Oura Cathedral or Atomic a Bomb Museum/Peace Park. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and you are also able to cook your own meals if you prefer. The only slight inconvenience I found was the lack of an elevator (my room was on the 5th floor), since I had a big suitcase. I ended up just taking the things I need for the night upstairs while leaving my bag in the luggage storage area. Not a big deal. I would come back if I visit Nagasaki again. Also, they offer discounted tickets to the Nagasaki ropeway, so ask the staff about it if you're planning to go there anyway.
Good location for exploring Nagasaki city. It was a very comfortable stay with friendly people. I like how an entire floor is dedicated to female dormitory and 7/11 is directly opposite the hostel.
Great place to share!”
The staff there are helpful and friendly. One of them is a Korean guy. He can speak Korean, Japanese, English, and a bit Mandarin. He gave me a lot of useful information which help a lot for my trip, really thanks for the help. The place is new and clean. We can share the living room on the ground floor and I meet a lot of roommate there. I probably will visit this hostel when I travel to Nagasaki again!
Great location and excellent staff”
CasaBlanca Guest House is amazingly located in the heart of Nagasaki, in a very charming and dynamic place of the city. We would go back to this guest house for sure! Free tea and coffee and great staff
Great location ”
Great location close in walking distance to train station and opposite a 7 eleven
Good location and comfortable.
Lovely place and staff
Clean, value for money and near tram stop”
Really value for money for the quality of service given by staff, cleanliness of room and facilities. Staff is fluent in English so communication is not an issue. Bed is clean and comfortable. Will definitely book this place again if I ever visit Nagasaki.
Pleasant stay and superb staff”
This hostel is located in a very nice area, many bars and restaurants around. Hostel is clean and they have cheap towel rental. The staff were super kind and helpful, they definitely made my trip to Nagasaki so much easier and enjoyable!
One very bad attitude male staff”
Only one very bad staff that destroyed this hostel reputation I just want to the bring attention to the owner of this hostel whom I have met & interacted with, that one very bad male staff name Kim originally from Korea, not a Japanese native is destroying what the owner of this hostel working hard to build. To other travelers, particularly Asian travelers, please be voice your own experiences with this male staff name Kim. To the owner of this hostel, please have a strength to replace Kim with another staff know the fundamental of customer services at the hostel.
