Best location and value for money ”

location, value for money and room size

Wonderful but not that suitable for family due to the discos and night clubs which can be a bit of a turn off for family with young kids. But great for young people. One of the best hotels in Cambodia with huge room and situated near all attractions and yet away from the main crowds.

The best time of my life”

Large room, centralized location and value for money.

The room is huge and comfortable. The staff are friendly. It is so near to all the attractions like Wat Nom, Royal Palace, Central Market etc. The room is value for money because the room I stayed in is equivalent to some 5 stars hotels. The night club and disco located within the hotel are heaven. Therefore, I will not recommend this place for family. This hotel is more for solo travellers and couples. Furthermore, the place is a bit noisy at night due to the night club and disco. However, I am a heavy sleeper so it does not affect me. The hotel is near all the attractions and eateries. Last but not least, I will to clarify others' comments about the poor wifi. Personally, I feel the wifi is really good - stable and fast.

Great Staff, Fantastic Food In Restaurant

I really enjoyed my stay at the Casa, the staff were great, especially the girls in the restaurant & the food was really good. My room was on the 7th floor & was clean and comfortable, the housekeeping girls were friendly & helpful, so were the guys in the lobby, again, great staff Yes, the disco is noisy, but if you can't sleep through it, you haven't been properly enjoying the nightlife of this wonderful city :)

    Good overall value”

    Large room, friendly service

Casa is near the French and US embassies in the Wat Phnom area. It has big carpeted rooms with good river and city views, and a 24 hour Chinese coffee shop. Downstairs is some kind of night club. Very good service and free breakfast.

Another great stay at the Casa”

    Friendly, clean, great rooms

my fourth stay at the casa, and i give it the thumbs up. stayed a full 30 nights. great ambience in the lobby, staff all smiles, friendly, chatty and only too happy to help. a lot of young staff everywhere giving the hotel a warm family atmosphere. stayed on the 7th floor. rooms all refurbished. big rooms, with solid walls, nice comfortable bed, crisp clean linen, lots of fluffy towels. big window with view of the city and the tonle sap river. great to watch the thunderstorms when they roll into the city. air con worked fine. tv reception is not good, but management is planning to fix this problem soon. i found the hotel and room very, very clean. i congratulate the management on being focused on making this hotel as good as it can be. not a bug in sight and any rougue fly is quickly dispatched by the lady with the electric racket! the staff absolutely lovely, it is the nature of the cambodian people, but also a reflection on the attitude of management. inclusive buffet breakfast absolutely fine, chinese style, cooked western, fresh fruit and drinks, changes daily. night club in the basement means that there is some sound filtering through to the accomodation floors. i am a light sleeper, but had no trouble sleeping. ktv on the 3rd floor, quite nice to sit in the lobby after 8.00 and have dinner and watch the fashion parade! quite vibie and busy at night around the club and in the lobby, all adds to the atmosphere, but easy to head through to the lift and up to your room and be away from it all. restaurent food really lovely with big servings. try the fish amok! outside street quite chaotic and this area kinda old and a bit ramshackle. but its all there, laundry, chemist, food stalls, money change, internet, mini-mart on the corner, antony pizza around the corner, and a selection of normal (no hankipanki) massage parlors. great value 3 star hotel with style, ambience and its own unique character that embraces the fullness of cambodian culture. i will be back!

Stay in Casa Hotel Phnom Penh”

Within walking distance to Wat Phnom, Royal Palace, museum and the mekong river water front. Reasonably good breakfast with big room and TV with international channels of different languages broadcast. Friendly hotel staffs who speak English
    No internet terminal.

If you are looking fornight entertainment, it is right next door. Currencies exchanges are right across the road. The US embassy is about 100m away. Some of the major attractions including the many waterfront restuarants serving both western and indochinese foods are within 15 minutes walking distances. If you are not sure of your location, you can approach the the restuarants staff for help as they can speak English. You can also take the tuk-tuk taxi which is cheaper who can also act as your guide as most speak English. Agree with him the price before hand to avoid problem later.

Warning : Loud music, can't rest, , tired looking hotel . stay somewhere else”

Don't stay here. There are far better choices in the other parts of Phnom Penh. eg. Lumiere hotel, that doesn't cost a bomb if you top up a bit more & comes with great everything... Warning : the noise from the night club located within the same block. Strong thumping music from the club, bass is strong, room trembles with the bass. We stayed on 7th floor, doesn't help. Food : the restaurant next to lobby is mostly vacant hardly any patrons, and while food was of generous portion & average taste, there was a fly around our table all the time, had a hard time finishing the meal. The hotel in general looks very tired & old, need major upgrading if they want to provide guests with some basic comfort. But the hotel staff are generally friendly and helpful.

    Need Improvement!”

This hotel is horrible! 30% of the room lighting is spoil. Air con is vibrating and noisy. Chances of finding a cockroach in the toilet is 100% everytime I enter the toilet. At night, the super loud music from the disco at level 1 can be easily hear & felt (strong vibration) at level 7. Not a good hotel - need improvement!

Noisy, not so far away from riverside ( about 1 usd/few minutes with tuk tuk ). For that money there are better choices in any way. Outside just few meters very dirty! Few times we got contact with Mr. Nat on reception desk. Very kind, the best think about this hotel. There are more worst hotel, but for sure there are also a lot of better choice.

    Yet another stay at Casa”

7th floor room facing Tonle Sap, rustic feeling, vibie evenings,

Happy enough to stay at Casa. Good value 3 star hotel. See my previous posts. I think the KTV not so popular as in previous visits. But still nice vibie hotel in the evenings with the KTV on the 3rd floor and night club in the basement. The restaurant area needs a major upgrade, ie new paint, new furniture and table cloths. Important comment. Its now so worn out that its pretty much an embarrassment for the hotel. Breakfast very average, but sufficient. Still like the room especially 7th floor and the side facing the Tonle Sap. Room cleaned each day with fresh linen. Hotel staff friendly especially the ladies. There is definitely a worn out feeling tho, but this is Cambodia. Yes of course there are better hotels, but the price goes up accordingly. Mostly Asian tourist here, but I notice a few more European this time, possibly because of my previous recommendations. I have chatted with them and some have stayed several times. Single guy should be quite happy and the hotel is girl friendly.

Promised to change the bed to single the next day but never happened. 2) No hot water at all. Tough time taking showers in the morning or at night, 3) Arguement about charging USD5 for breakfast for our partners.I argued that all rooms are for two persons as booked by me. Average hotel with nothing much special”

night club, good chinese food, walking distance to river

This is my first stay at this hotel and my second trip to Cambodia. As it is a business trip and at the tourist low season, the checking in process is pretty fast. However I was forced to change room after my second night because the air con failed. The hotel is in old condition but being a business travelling, it is still acceptable. The chinese food ordering is pretty fast and tasty. The night club is really noisy but I am on level 7 which is acceptable. Given there are plenty of choice for hotels in Cambodia, I will try another new hotel in my next trip.

    Modern, clean, big, confortable room

i had a top floor room with river view. it's large, modern and meets all standards. it's about 15-20 min. walking distance to the restaurants and pubs at the river. as a minus, the hotel runs a night club until 6am next morning. you can hear little (top floor) but nothing to concern about, really. the breakfast is chinese oriented with nothing left at the buffet at 9am. however, it's very good value for the money paid and i would come back.

Room sive was a pleasant surprise

This Hotel we found to be nearly 100% perfect, the room size was excellent, cleaned dailly, Hotel staff were extremeley helpful if you mixed with them, we did mix and had some fantastic help back from all, the only downfall to the Hotel is the Disco/night club that goes onto until the early hours of the morning, even with us being on the 7th floor, shame really but their we are.
