Not perfect, but a great time ”
One of the nicest views from a hostel that I've seen in Latin America. The upper terrace offers a view of the island and water. The staff, while not very warm, went to great lengths and patience to help. This hostel definitely has its flaws. The dorm rooms are packed very close and the need to take a boat each time you leave is a bit of a hassle. All-in-all, I think it was worth it.

The bathroom was not very clean, the staff was nice but not very helpful, and it was not on the island of Flores so you have to take a boat everytime. It was cheap but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Nice quiet spot ”
As most people I had reservations due to the hotel being across the lake from Flores island. Don't let that put you off if you either call or WhatsApp them they will arrange a taxi to the lake and then a 3min boat ride over. Anytime you want to come to and from the hotel Hector is always happy to take you across the lake. The rooms are basic and goes with the price but clean, hot water and aircon so works out pretty good value. And finally it a great view of the lake.

Great hostel, lovely staff, very familiar! Just Note that the hostel is not in flores but on the other side of the Lake. But they offer a free Shuttle during the day
