1. Pillows. One HUGE pillow, very hard. probably the worst I have ever had in a hostel 2. no internet. not even enough to book air tickets. not big deal but pretty annoying as we couldn’t book our tickets for the rest of our travels 3. a church is just opposite the hotel and we woken up by the bells ringing at 4:30am, 5:30am and 6:00am. it only happened on one night (we stayed 2 nights)

The location is excellent. The whole complex is spacious, with four communal kitchens and a rooftop terrace overlooking San Christobal and the water.
The rooms were very hot, with no aircon. With the fan on full-blast it was doable though.

Very good sized rooms, some with beautiful sea views. Very comfortable and in a good location only a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants, plus the local market. Jenny is lovely and really helpful. Would definitely recommend. Great value for the Galapagos.

Nice hostel with good price, has two kitchens and fridges for guests to use. Has a rooftop with hammocks and tables. Overall cheap and good place to stay.
A little bit noisy sometimes, and the wifi does not work (it doesn’t work on most of the island).

Kitchen facilities (Fridge and cooking) common for all residents. We were typically &#39;up and gone&#39; and back late, but could have made breakfast or Dinner had we desired. Room was comfortable, 2 twins. Maybe a bit Firm for some. Hot water &#39;unique&#39; to this Island .an &quot;on demand&#39; heater that works as long as you don&#39;t demand too much ..a fine balance of temperature and volume&#47;pressure. Balcony &#39;nice&#39;, but 2nd floor street noise might distract some.
WIFI, while typical of the Island, worked best only in the main reception. Each floor had a repeater, but bandwidth very low. Made it work, but plan on long waits for HTML page loads.

It can get a little noisy downstairs in the courtyard, particularly on an evening.

The location is good. The room view is decent. There is a really nice terrace at the top.
The internet didn&#39;t hardly work, and I don&#39;t mean the main connection, but rather the router for the room would just drop and not reconnect. Internet on the island is slow everywhere, but that wasn&#39;t the problem here. The owner got in a big fight with some other guests over a $2 taxi, which didn&#39;t come on time and the other guests got another one. she came running out and screaming. There was hot water only for about 2 minutes before it became cold. Things were really loud above my room. people were moving furniture for a long time and bouncing up and down.

Godd value and friendly service”

The options in the Galapagos tend to be between a few nice but very expensive places and everything else. In the everything else category, this place is solid. Service is excellent, rooms are clean, beds and showers are good, and the location is convenient. All things considered, we think it is a good value and would stay again. They also have kitchens for guests to use, which is a bonus.
The rooms are lacking in some amenities: shelves in the bathroom, coat hooks, hangers, etc.
