Great location, accommodating and nice staff, good
They were nice enough to help me and accommodate my request to be fetched from Plaza del Norte, the reception of the wedding which is 9.8km away from the guesthouse, and to take me to Farinas Laoag terminal which is really far. They understood my situation because my trip was at 11pm and it would be troublesome to be getting a jeep ride to Laoag, more so with my things. I really like the room but the shower can be improved. It's so old looking and because the shower head is small, there's not much water coming out from it. They might wanna change it to a bigger one.

Excellent
Very nice staff. Location is great right near town center and Church. The Inn also has a pool and Massage staff onsite too. Close to great restaurants too. Good value for the money.

Perfect location, nice hotel! But the stuff didn't even know where the next ATM is. They wanted to send us miles away, to the next city. But at the end: it was on the other side of the street...

Cosy and charming!
The place is very cosy. Just behind the beautiful Paoay church and near Herencia's. Staff are very friendly, warm and helpful.

A VERY disappointing stay!
From the outside this facility looks wonderful! with a good assistant manager and kitchen staff. But once you stay you realise the real truth, towels with holes, I have never ever had this .... and I travel all over the world! when we asked for new towels, the new towels had even bigger holes! Bed sheets with yellow stains, have they never heard of bleach?? The toiletry kit had hard toothpaste and a disposal brush that broke into 3 parts as I took my first brush cutting my lip! what if it was my child? he could have choked! On the second night there was a loud party till 3 am! I now have the flu as I put the air-con up high to block out the sound, only when I went out and complained did it stop! The young man in charge denied he was in charge even though he held the room keys, the front main doors were wide open and and the office door was open too! I never felt safe there. We had to clean the pool ourselves while the staff watched on, and the next day there was a photo shoot at the pool area and we couldn't use it, no one told us when it was to finish, so we stayed away from the hotel. The only redeeming feature was that the assistant manager next day apologised and refunded my stay which I am now spending the money on doctor and medicine fees today. The kitchen lady was very concerned the next day and was genuinely worried, she was wonderful. To the manager/owner, invest in training of your staff and buy new towels and toiletries and your motel could become a 4 star stay!

Could be better
We stayed for overnight. We had the family room. 1double bed and 2 single beds and had to get additional bed as we are 5adults and 1baby. Beds and pillows are so comfy but so disappointed to get a 3inches thick matress smaller than the size of a single for our "extra bed" and paid 700pesos for it! I was thinking of a folding bed not just a matress !!! But the hotel is quite, aircon was working, hot shower and breakfast were included. Its located very close to Paoay Church... ❤

Perfect place in Paoay!
Went on a road trip with 2 girls friends, and initially we wanted to spend our first night in Ilocos in Laoag. However, we didn't find anything interesting (we wanted quaint, cozy and definitely not a convention-center sort of place). I'm glad we didn't limit ourselves to Laoag because Casa Dona Emilia met all our requirements! There's free parking in front, it's right next to a 7-11 and it's right across the Paoay church. Staff were very friendly. In fact, the driver that we hired for the sand dunes was the brother of one of the kitchen staff, and we had a great time! There isn't much night life or activity in Paoay itself, but we were actually looking for that kind of peace and quiet. At night, we stuffed ourselves silly with empanadas and other street food at the street behind the church and took in the wonderful views of the church in the night time. It's also very pretty at night and well-illuminated. I would recommend Casa Dona Emilia B&B for a quaint, boutique-hotel type of experience in a lovely quiet town!

Can't get much closer to the church here
Only 1 block from the old church is this wonderful house turned into a small hotel. The history in the place would be interesting to know in detail. The hotel is an old Spanish style home with a pool in the middle. The tile work is wonderful. The room was ok, with a working western CR, an OK shower, and just an OK bed. Breakfast at the hotel was decent.
