Cosy and quiet”
my husband and i loved casa e mare! we were on the third floor, facing the main road. would've probably been better on fourth floor facing the back as it can get slightly noisy when locals travel up and down the road for work, but still okay overall. it has a lift by the way. our room was better than expected! cosy room deco with a big bed, aircon, fan, shower cabinet with hot shower. water pressure was good. looks like eddy (hotel owner) upgraded his wifi too. i had no problems checking email and posting pictures on facebook in the room. we got housekeeping everyday too. hotel doesn't provide daily bottled water, but there's a family mart right next to it. we get big bottles of water from there daily. beer, coolers and yoghurt drinks are all less than 60baht! family mart seems to be the most affordable in phuket. for us, the only downside is that you'll have to walk slightly uphill to casa. less than a 10-min walk from the beach to the hotel tho. we got a bike after that, so it all worked out for the price, it's truly a gem, what more at kata where waters were pristine blue. you can get slightly cheaper hotels at patong, but patong waters are brown, and it's too noisy and busy for our liking. anyway, you can bike to patong. just rent a bike casa e mare was truly a home away from home. if we were to visit phuket again, we would definitely stay there! <3

We were quite surprised to have paid very little for the awesome experience and the comfort that we had at Casa E Mare Hotel. It was not my first time to have a vacation in Phuket so comparing it with my previous experiences, staying in this hotel made my Beach holiday more unforgettable. To start off, we booked this hotel because of it's price since we were already in Phuket at that time and just thought of extending more nights there. So minutes ago we just booked it and asked a taxi to bring us there without expecting anything. When we arrived we were greeted by 2 super adorable puppies who are very friendly. Ofcourse aside from the puppies we were greeted by an Italian lady and a local girl who were both friendly. The Italian Owner was very kind and even gave us a room upgrade. she went with us to our room which we were very surprised of how it looks like. It was nicely designed, clean bathroom, good sized mirror, comfortable bed and a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. That totally changed my holiday from better to best. My friend even extended her stay in phuket too since we just loved everything about the hotel. They also have a restaurant which serves italian cuisine. We enjoyed the food and the service there too. In fact we even changed our last dinner plans from a fine dining resto to their place since we were thinking of enjoying every moment of our stay there. The Wifi is fast too by the way! They even arranged a taxi for us who was on time to pick us up. The Italian family who owned the place really made our stay the best it can be. I have already recommended them to my friends ;)

We spent some days in Phuket, so we decided to stay in Kata Beach Area. While looking for the best option among the many hotels in the area, we saw the very good reviews about Casa e Mare Hotel, so we decided to book. The Hotel is really close to Kata Beach, about 5 minutes walk. As soon as we arrived Eddy (the manager) received us in a warm, friendly but professional way. Everything in this hotel was great: really clean, everything was working, it is clear the staff cares a lot about the hotel itself and the wellbeing of the customers. It is possible to have a delicious dinner in the restaurant at the ground floor, authentic Italian cuisine: we had a pizza and it was awesome! Eddy is very nice, he gives very good advices about what to do, what to see, the best way to do it...and also driving directions to move around the island. It is also possible to rent scooters in this Hotel at very good rates. We recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to travel to Phuket. Massimo & Claudia

Little piece of Italy in Phuket”
i booked for one night and ended up staying my whole trip. the room was very clean, fine en suite and smelt good, there was even a balcony. it was walking distance to the beach and for a small price offered a home away from home for a single woman. i am going back next year with my husband and son. there was always someone to chat to in their cafe/lounge area where they sell the best club sandwiches. having already stayed in one resort that was disgusting for 2 nights(cost 3 times the price of casa e mare), i know how bad some hotels are in phuket so when you are on to something good like casa e mare stick to it. also, they had two beautiful fluffball dogs that you could cuddle any time of the day. for a budget hotel it was excellent. save money, stay here and spend the savings on restaurants with views.

Short stay”
I stayed at Casa e Mare for 3 nights for a quiet holiday. The hotel location is great as it is only 5 minutes walk to Kata beach. My room with en-suite is large and very very clean. I had trouble with my taxi both coming to and from the airport but each time Eddy gave help by calling the taxi company and also organizing alternate taxi to the airport when my taxi didn't show up...this guy is a gem. People, Casa e Mare must be your first choice if you are thinking of coming to Phuket.

Great value”
As a frequent Phuket traveller I stayed in the Casa e Mare for the first time. To me the place offers the best value for money I have ever had during my numerous visits to Kata. Rooms are very clean and staff is friendly. On arrival I was warmly received by the Italian owner Eddy who is always around to attend to guests. Motorbikes can be rented right from the hotel at very reasonable rates. I can only highly recommend the place and will certainly stay there again next time.

Good Choice Hotel”
Italian family owned and operated. Good sized room, bathroom & balcony. Room features quality furniture and furnishings, with comfortable bed. There was no mini bar or tea/coffee making facility. Wi-Fi was average, regularly having to refresh Wi-Fi settings to get connected. The restaurant and cafe downstairs has good Italian foods and coffee. There is a tour desk and scooter rental for competitive prices. Located in Central Kata, with all services, shops and the beach close by. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout my stay. I would consider staying at Casa e Mare again

Comfortable and good value”
My first time to Phuket, I was looking for somewhere away from the crowds of Patong. Kata beach is a good choice as there is still plenty happening but away from the busiest area. I was surprised at how big Kata beach was and still quite busy though. Located a short and easy walk away from the beach, The Casa E Mare hotel is more Italian than Thai and the restaurant was busy with Italian tourists. The food there is delicious and authentic Italian food which should be tried. I found the staff friendly and helpful, the room spacious and comfortable with air-con, a fan and a balcony. No complaints at all, good value and will stay there again if I ever get to Kata Beach again. One word of advice about the airport, which is an hour away...... taxis charging around 1000 baht to get back to airport from Kata Beach. There is a shuttle bus from the airport which I used to get to hotel which was 200 baht.

I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay during my trip to Phuket. Casa e Mare is just a 5 minute walk to both the beautiful Kata beach as well as the shops and stores along the coast. While its close enough of a walk to the tourist scene, it's definitely far enough that you can experience a quiet and relaxing stay.

We have tried 3 hotels in Phuket island during our holiday, obviously Casa E Mare is the best one. The room is clean and bright, equipments are all good, and most importantly the hotel owner is very nice. I will book this hotel again when I come back to Phuket next time.

Nice place to stay for Kata Beach”
It is around 10 mins walk to Kata Beach, which is ok to us. The room was clean and the size was ok. Our Phuket trip was a mix of day trips of snorkeling and diving and relaxing in resort. So for non-resort days, we decided to book a place which was cheap and fit-for-purpose. Casa E Mare served this purpose well.

Lovely hotel, great location, and value for money”
i only stayed here for 1 night, but if i return to phuket i will definately stay here for longer it is a great base to explore everywhere. the rooms were clean and spacious with good air con, lovely bathroom. definately value for money compared to other hotels in the area. 5 minutes walk to kata beach and shops/restaurants. a bit of road noise but as soon as you close the balcony door it is not a problem. the owners are an italian family and are very welcoming and friendly. i did not eat at their restaurant so cannot comment on that, but i did have a coffee latte and that was yummy! i would definately recommend ths hotel to anyone wanting to stay in kata.

We arrived at Casa E Mare after a long journey from an over priced hotel in Bangkok, we really enjoyed the little bit of Italy in phuket. Its fairly close to the beach but its best to rent the scooters they provide.the people of phuket respect scooter drivers.

Amazing, well-equipped, convenient, comfortable”
although i only lived one night, the hotel left me deep impression including italian brekfast, easy rent motobike and book the show ticket. and the room is very comfortable, air conditioner and fan are available. last but not least, the hotel is just 5 minutes away kata beach by motobike, 20 minutes away from patong beach, very convenient and peaceful. all in all, enjoy living in casa!

Lovely italian hotel”
The rooms were big and very clean. The shower was nice and hot. The food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious. Family run business and very friendly staff. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach with restaurants and bars along the way. There is a 7 eleven and atm next door and more minimarts down the road. By the beach you can get the bus into phuket or karon for 30 baht. At night there are lots of stalls around and shopping in kata plaza which is about 15 minutes from the hotel.

good deal nice”
This hotel is cheap and close to the beach. Rooms are good with air con and clean. The hotel is run by an older Italian couple so the coffee is the best you will find in Kata beach or all of Phuket maybe. Breakfast is good too. Each floor has just four rooms so it's quiet at night and a lot cheaper than the other options in Kata -because the place doesn't have a pool. This doesn't matter if you are in Kata with the ocean and beaches everywhere down the road.
