Business Class & Travel Smart Hotel”

Very conveniently located in the heart of Central Hong Kong at Nathan Road. Exit MTR Yau Ma Tei Exit C turn right in just 20 meters.
Still lack of promotions among the locals, lot's of people doesn't know where this great little business hotel is being located, many knew where the Kings Hotel is just down the block.

Below the hotel is the Casa Restaurant which Opens till 11:00pm. A 7-11 Convenient stalls just next door further down, SaSa Health Care Shop near the MTR exit. At the MTR Exit is a chinese Medical Shop which sells lots of Fresh Fruit Juices. Opposite Casa is the Bangkok Bank and Mannings Pharmacy Store. All you need is here in Central Hong Kong. No doubt the Rooms are uniquely small in size, a really small and adventurous tiny lift, but it has the best & Helpful Security Guard, Receptionist at Level 1, Very Quiet environment to sleep of all the walking and shopping weariness, the fastest ever Broadband facilities for internet surfing, newly furnish bedrooms, study table, nice washroom fittings. You'll still feel very comfortable and secure. In the evening, just walk pass MTR Exit C, you will get to the famous Sai Yeung Choi St.(Latest Handphones & Notebooks), Ladies St.(Ladies Nite Flea Market), Fa Yuen St. (Sports & Shoes), Kwong Wa St. (Many Types of Hobby Shops). Try the typical Local Hong Kong Breakfast Meals at (Tong Da Shi Dian Di San Fen Dian Restorant)MTR Yau Ma Tei Exit A2, Pitt Street, surely you won't regret it. Try the Iced Tea, Iced Lemon Tea, Shrimp / Char Siew Rice Noodle, Sandwiches, Century Egg Porridge served with Yau Char Kwai is a must try. Behind Casa Hotel is the Temple Street, where you get more Supper treats. Only manage to walk the whole of Temple Street but didn't get to sample the food there. Next trip definetly will. Use MTR Yau Ma Tei Exit C to get the the Airport. Head towards "Lai King" station (Tsuen Wan Line), interchange to "Tsing Yi" Station (Tung Chung Line), Interchange to "Airport Express Line" (15mins) at only HKD$60.00. If you use "Hong Kong Station" at the island will cost HKD$120.00 for Airport Express Line. Hope this helps.

Cosy hotel with a superb location”

Location

Located in the heart of Yau Ma Tei, Casa Hotel is less than a minute's walk from the Yau Ma Tei MTR Exit C. Hong Kong is easily accessible using the MTR transport line and Yau Ma Tei MTR is a good location to start your travel, able to reach most parts of Hong Kong with a short ride. Its close vicinity to the MTR is the hotel's best asset as the convenience brought is simply excellent. Plus points include being within walking distance of 10minutes to Tim Ho Wan in Mong Kok (cheapest michelin star restaurant in the world and a must eat!). There are also nearby restaurants that sells a variety of Hong Kong local delights such as porridge and dim sum, milkcurd. A 7-11 store is also within a stone's throw away. On the day of arrival, they upgraded our room to a bigger one. Staffs are friendly and proficient in english. However, comparing the room to our friend's which is not upgraded, the main difference is the ensuite bathroom which has much more comfortable space for usage. The room, though small, is rather cosy and enough for stays in Hong Kong, where you'll likely spend most of the time outside. Due to its superb location and a comfortable stay, I will definitely stay at Casa Hotel again.

Worth the Stay!!! ”

The 3 best things about this hotel: 1.) Budget friendly 2.) Good location 3.) Very Clean and has good Air conditioning and facilities

We booked Casa HOtel just 2 weeks before checked-in and we still got a good price. We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids (7 & 1 year old) so we booked a Deluxe Room (Room 1304) though they have a Family room. It was located in Yau Ma Tei (Nathan Road) which is very accessible wherever you want to go in Hong Kong. Left side is the MTR Station and just in front is a Bus stop. Drugstore, shopping store and 7Eleven is just alongside and down the hotel is a currency exchange post. A few walk behind the hotel is a night market and a variety of budget friendly meals yet very delicious and clean (with or without rice). The air condition is top notch esp on the hallways. they got 2 functioning elevators and the shower is hot and cold. They arrange our room without asking and they change our towels, beddings, toothbrush and paste like EVERYDAY! :) Room service was very superb! The receptionist is 24hours and they speak in English and are very much willing to assist you in anyway... Our stay was indeed memorable and surely, we will highly recommend this place to our travelling friends and families...

Great location! Food, transport!”

Food everywhere, night markets round the corner, train station 1 min walk away

Can't go wrong. Forget Tsim Sha Tsui. Yau Ma Tei is the area to be. I find TST too crowded, expensive and commercialized. To be where the locals are, surrounded by fantastic 24/h food, night markets, watering holes, here's the place to stay. HK is known for its cramp accommodation - being asian, it's bad enough. It's much worse for caucasians. The size of this hotel is pretty good as compared to others. IN HONGKONG, ALWAYS CHECK ROOM SIZE. It can be extremely claustrophobic! My boyfriend's about 1.8m, at one of the place that we stayed, he couldn't even stretch out in the ROOM. The bed was literally the room, and was just nice for me, and i'm only 1.58m! So always pay a little bit more for a larger room. The train station is literally, downstairs. And Yau Ma Tei station is located perfectly - to any major areas like Hong Kong Island, TST, Mongkok - just a couple stops away. 10 mins and you're in HK island, same for TST. The hotel is also located on the main road, and it has an English name, which is very important especially if you don't speak the language. Many hotels are tucked away and in the urban maze that is hongkong where road signs aren't always available and buildings merge together into a blur, you want somewhere you can find easily. And no, your cab driver won't know where your hotel is. HK changes so quickly, it's hard even for the locals to keep track.

Great hotel/location but small toilet.”

convenient location, 1 min away from yau ma tei mtr.

stayed for 5d4n at casa hotel. greeted by friendly staff and was able to check in earlier as there were rooms that are available before 2pm. the room for two was able to fit 2 huge luggage, walking space for us is not an issue because half the time we were out, and were only back at night. however, the toilet is very small, the best way to bathe is to sit on toilet seat. the room is clean, the beds are comfortable, but the pillows were too soft for my liking. the location is very convenient as its about a minute walk to yau ma tei mtr. and you can actually take a stroll to mongkok, which is about 15minutes away. upon checking out, we could leave our luggage at the counter for no extra charges at all, and was told to collect it on the day itself. will book this hotel again if ever going back to hong kong

3 mins walk from MTR but the room is small ”

super good location with friendly staff

Reached the hotel at 12noon and was told that the room is available and we can check in! Stayed for 5 nights. Casa Hotel is located a stone throw away from Yau Ma Tei MTR station (exit C), it is only like 3 mins walk? The room is small but there is still space for you to walk around and even lay out your luggage for packing. The toilet is really small though, but it doesn't bother us, however families with young children will probably have to reconsider. The staff who cleaned up our room is really efficient and good. Felt embarrassed because we left our clothes & towels lying around everywhere and (she) even helped to fold the clothes nicely and neatly and laid them on the bed. We can hear the loud laughters from our neighbours when they return late. So for light sleepers who gets irritated easily, maybe you won't like it. But they quieten down soon afterwards so it wasn't that bad. The room has a boiling water flask, so you can have your instant noodle for supper in the room:) you can find many 7-11 and circle K (something like 7-11 in HK) around the hotel. Free wifi is available! The staff will give you a password upon check in. The wifi signal is very strong and stable yay! There is also a TV in the room that is molded onto the wall. You can watch the latest episodes of the TVB dramas every night if you don't wish to be on the streets. One thing which bothered me during my stay was the bed. It was quite stiff and my neck was aching badly on my 3rd day. Maybe my body is not used to it haha, but I felt better the next day. If you are looking for a hotel which is near the MTR, close to many eateries, convenience, and not going to fuss so much, then you can give this hotel a try.

Read my review , seriously”

Location, great staff, perfect comfort in HK buzzle

At first we were skeptical when making reservation at Casa by reading other agoda reviews. Well guess what, Casa is amazing not only the great location (Yau Ma Tei MTR station - they put on all capital letters CASA at the exit direction info board, you will not get lost) . We arrived 11 am and the receptionist was so kind giving us the room (since there already available rooms at that time) and the check in process was quick ( prepare 300HKD as room deposit ). Elevator were okay, didnt take too long time to wait. Room was great for HK hotels , hot water worked fine, cozy bed and they give us also spare pillow & blanket. Hairdryer, adaptor, hot electric kettle were set and ready. Cable tv provides English channels. Many fastfood chains nearby. Bus stop right in front of hotel, including the bus to HKIA. Thanks, Casa.

Casa Hotel Hong KOng”

Best location
Very small

As a Tour Operator in Malaysia (www.88Holidays.com), I often travel overseas to solicit tour group to visit Malaysia. My recent visit to Hong Kong is a pleasant trip with great experiences with Casa Hotel. This hotel is new. I took the Airport-City Express (route A21 for HKD33/trip only) and the bus stopped right opposite the hotel. If you choose to the the train or subway (MRT), the Hotel is just next to Yau Ma Tei Station. It is so convenient to go everywhere from here. No breakfast is provided so I do not how good is the food. Finding food is so easy as the hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The famous temple street is just back of the hotel. The other walking shopping streets are within walking distance as well. The hotel room is a bit small, not possible to squeeze in 3rd person. The bed is a very small single bed (not a standard twin bed). If you are big in size, it is better to request for a double bed and stay alone. If I would to return to Hong Kong, I will definitely stay in Casa Hotel again.

CASA Hong Kong Kowloon”

- Very near to underground (just a few steps walk from Yau ma tei) - Clean and cozy room/hotel - Very near to shopping area/restaurants e.g. Mongkok, Temple street, 7-eleven, SASA Outlet - Reasonable price
- No ABF included

Me and my family (3adults) have stayed in Deluxe Family room, thus the room size was not our problem (big enought for 3 big guys like us : 1 double and 1 twin bed) We had a very memorable stay here since the hotel is really near to Yau Ma Tei station and bus stop. The room was nice, the housekeeping was really good (cleaned our room everyday/ changed towels). We will certainly choose Casa Hong Kong again for our next trip to Hong Kong!! Thanks.

GREAT LOCATION AND PLENTY OF FOODS!”

The location of the hotel is superb. It's just a couple of meters to the right from Exit C of Yau Ma Tei MTR station. Plenty of food store and restaurants surrounding the area. Temple street market just behind the Man Ming Lane. Hotel room is clean. Although the bathroom is a bit small but it is not an issue to fit one person. Definitely will stay in Casa Hotel when I return to Hong Kong with my family

Stay in HK, Stay in Casa Hotel !”

The hotel is clean. Theres a free wifi and internet connections which can be allocated in the room where ur staying. The Manager Michael is very much helpful and accomodating. Its because of this that when i will come back to HK, i will surely stay again in Casa Hotel.
The room where i stayed is small along with the bathroom. So you need to bring less baggage with you.Or else you will need to upgrade your room to a bigger one. Also, when people are talking outside the room, you can hear them and this created distractions while resting..

My stay in Hongkong was great ! Most specially when i booked in Casa Hotel for my first 3 days which i extended for a week. This is due mainly to the manager named Michael who is very helpful and accomodating that i felt im not a stranger in HK. And the staffs are very friendly too. Aside from this, the room although small, is being surely cleaned everyday. On top of it they are giving free internet connections inside the room. I found the hotel convenient as it is strategically located in Nathan road near shopping centers restos and the MTR station Yau Ma Tei, it is easy for me to roam around. I visited the Disneyland, a once in a lifetime adventure, Ride in the cable car and went to the Great Buddha. Also i went shopping spree to the streets at Temple Station which is only a 10 mins walk from my hotel. So bring a map and no need to go by MTR for this. If u want to try local food, theres a lot to choose from or else you can go to Mcdonalds (open for 24 hours) or simply have your meal in the burger king. So all in all i enjoyed my stay there !

it's cheap! very conveniently located off Nathan Road for Yau Ma Tei / Mongkok excursions
rooms are tiny, big deal. no safe - they should add safes then it would be about perfect

Casa is a clean, vaguely hip, very inexpensive little hotel situated smack dab on Nathan Road, about 1 minute from the Yau Ma Tei MTR station entrance. Very convenient for single travellers who are coming to Hong Kong to enjoy HK, and not waste time in a hotel room. Nice staff, very high value / price ratio. Internet worked fine, A/C. litlle flat screen t.v., all just fine. The bathroom itself is the shower stall - clean and functional but tiny, so that may not be everyone's cup of tea. My only gripe is the lack of a safe n the room - come on guys, spring for a little safe in the closet!

Convenient, Affordable”

Nice staff, close to subway station, centrally located

I liked the staff and location of Casa Hotel. I definitely think it could use improvements, but it's under $100 USD in Hong Kong, so it cannot be too great. However, many people stayed there at the same time as I did and I think we all liked it because it's so close to Yau Ma Tei station and it is right in the middle of Hong Kong. I had to switch rooms because I originally booked a single but it was very stuffy and I did not like the musty smell, plus there was a water leak in the hallway that I thought was adding to the odor. So I requested to be moved, and I got a discount on an upgrade. The upgrade to a double was only $22 more per night. I liked the double room a lot better - the single is just suffocating and there is no room to unpack and be comfortable. The staff was great - very professional and helpful although they are very young. They are very fluent in English as well. Getting to the hotel is no problem because the airport buses all stop right there on Nathan Street. If you want a better hotel, you can stay at the sister hotel, Casa Deluxe, which is right next door. I stayed at Casa because it was closer to the station, but I think next time I will stay in Tsim Sa Tsui or back at the Silka Seaview in Yau Ma Tei. However, for people not on a business trip (I was on a business trip) who want a cheaper place to stay, it is a good hotel. One thing was that internet was often slow. It never didn't work at all, but usually at night it was very slow and got better in the morning or during the day.

Good hotel for the price and location”

Location, Helpful staff, Two elevators

I would recommend the Casa hotel for someone traveling to Hong Kong. Its best feature is its location. It is less than 100 feet from the entrance to the Yau Ma Tei subway station. The Yau Ma Tei station allows connection to the two major subway lines with access to most of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Although their are many hostels in the Nathan Rd area for less the Casa Hotel was clean, the staff was helpful, and it was very convienient. We used 3 rooms. One family room (one double bed and one single) as well as two rooms each with two single beds. The only problem we had was that during the 8 day stay we had two days of typhoon with heavy rains which caused leaking in one of the rooms. The management moved us to another room (actually better) for no extra charge. Some of this was no doubt a result of being on the 14th floor (top floor).

ideal for the budget travelling couple”

good location

Casa Hotel is conveniently located at Nathan Road. Beside it is a 7/11 convenience store that's open for 24 hours so you need not worry where to buy your essentials just in case you forgot them. And on the other side, two stores away, there's an Aji Ichiban store where you can buy some yummy goodies to bring home. The hotel is walking distance from Yau Ma Tei MRT station, therefore, you can easily use the train to go to other destinations. Within the vicinity of the hotel, you will find shops & restaurants, so you can start your shopping and eat good food while your at it. The inside of the hotel is quite simple. It isn't spacious but it is enough. But if you are on the heavy side, you might have difficulty fitting into their bathrooms since it is a little cramped. Breakfast at the hotel is also good. Overall, we would like to stay there again. It's affordable too.

Casa hotel worked out perfect for me”

location!!!! clean. good rate. free and fast wifi.
Small room. small bathroom. small and slow elevator

I was born in Hong Kong and lived there for 15 years. So my opinion might be a bit different as I am not a complete "foreigner / visitor" to Hong Kong. Anyway, I believe Casa hotel was a perfect choice for me for this trip. I was visiting hong kong by myself and was there for 10 days. I didn't want to spend lots of money, yet I wanted something that is clean with a convenient location. Casa Hotel definitely has a great location. Its right on Nathan Hotel in Yau Ma Tei, which is pretty much in the heart of Kowloon. It is only 30 seconds away from the MTR station which could probably get me to most of the places I needed to go to. Its about a 10 minutes walk to Mong Kok where I did most of my shopping at. The room rate was pretty good. I got a standard single room for an average price, For the condition and location of the hotel, I couldn't find anything else that beat this one. A big plus for the hotel is that it offers free wifi. Most hotels in hk would charge you for wifi. Not only it was free, the internet connection was pretty fast. I am the type of person who has to check my email a few times a day. I also needed internet connection as I was using Skype to make lots phone calls back home. So free and fast wifi was really awesome! Lets talk about the hotel and room condition... The hotel condition is actually quite good. I believe the building itself is pretty old, but they renovated the whole building a few years ago. Its clean, and I saw these cleaning ladies kept cleaning the floor, elevators, glass doors, etc throughout the day. Its kind of weird that the hotel reception / lobby is located on the 2nd level, so that you would have to take the elevator or stairs one floor up with the luggage when you check in. I found that weird, but it didn't cause me much trouble. I got a standard single room with a single bed. I've been to many different hotels around the world and this room was definitely small comparing to most of them

Compact Hotel in Hong Kong”

Convenient access to MTR

Casa Hotel is 1 of the hotel that located near the Yau Ma Tei MTR. It is very convenient for the hotel guest to gain access to the MTR. Especially it is just located 1 Min away of walking distance from the MTR. The Hotel room is tidy and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. However it is quite small for those who are big size. Especially the bathroom where i found that i have difficulties to close the bathroom door from inside. Despite of the small room the hotel does offer quite a resonable price for all its room and especially for those who book through agoda website

Convenient location and great value for money”

Location, 30 steps from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station Great value for money, high standard for budget hotel Free WiFi Clean rooms
Small room and bathroom

Me and my girlfriend stayed in a standard double room for 4 nights in the end of June 2009. As you've seen in other reviews, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. However, I still think it's big enough, and great value for money. The location is great, just a few steps away from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station, and 7-eleven is just next door. We stayed on the top floor (14th) and the signal strength for the free WiFi was good. Rooms are clean. Check-in and check-out was quick and hassle free. I strongly recommend this hotel and will stay here next time I come back to Hong Kong.

Location is, indeed, its best asset!”

Location, good-smelling lobby, and reception staff performance.

This was our second time in HK and we made sure that our stay should be an accessible one. Casa Hotel didn't disappoint us in that aspect. Only 30 secs away from Yau Ma Tei Exit C station, my mom and I had a blast roaming around HK because MTR is just within reach. We arrived at 1030H and I advised them that we will have an early check-in prior to arriving. However, rooms were not yet available so we had to stay at the lobby for at least 1.5hr. Their check in time is 2 pm, they checked us in at around 1 pm, so it's still an early check in. To set the readers' expectation straight, everything in the hotel is sized up for an average Asian person: lifts, fire exit, hallway, room, bed, and especially the bathroom. It has been the smallest one we've encountered but since my mom and I are just average-sized built, we managed to have a good stay here. You have barely enough room for 2 luggages and wjen you take a bath, everything in the shower room will get wet, literally! However, what Casa Hotel lacks for a superb stay, it made up for its excellent location and quality service. We just travelled by Cityflyer A21 Airport bus back to the airport when its our time to leave, and the bus stop is just 20 steps away from the hotel. Over-all, we had a good stay at Casa Hotel and we will definitely stay here again when we go back to HK again in the near future. Attractions nearby Casa Hotel by foot: Temple Street Night Market, Ladies Night Market, Langham Place Mall, WingWah Bakery Other attractions like Ngong Ping, Disney, Ocean Park, The Peak, etc are very accessible by MTR. You will not get lost.

Easily the best low-mid range hotel”

Unbeatable location, very clean rooms.

Casa Hotel has so many best things that it's hard to list them. My favourite being the location (right next to Yau Ma Tei MRT), access to iconic HK food on the street behind hotel, blazing fast free WIFI. Temple St night market is just behind the hotel. The rooms are not big but very well furnished with modern feel and very clean. You don't pay for bells and whistles that you don't need such as pool and gym. I stayed at every other surrounding mid-range hotel nearby and they are more expensive by HKD with older tiring furnishing and charges you for WIFI. Stay here if you are looking for great value low-mid range hotel.
