Casa Nicarosa Hotel is indeed simply beautiful from its physical structure to its neatly designed but big rooms. I together with friends had a wonderful talk and sharing over continental breakfast which the hotel has generously provided for free! Truly, the reviews that made me discover Casa Nicarosa can speak for themselves. When in Metro Manila, I will definitely go back to Casa Nicarosa Hotel. Kudos to the owner and staff who made everything possible that Casa Nicarasa would be a home away from home. Ciao!

The Casa Nicarosa is listed as a one star hotel which is very wrong. The hotel is very well maintained,clean,well staffed by friendly and attentive staff always eager to meet any needs you have. The decor has old style mix of Filipino and Chippendale. There is a breakfast room and good freshly cooked to order breakfasts to choose from. Although they don't have room service food (except for cold drinks) they provide a list of all the local diners that deliver and call in guest food orders that are delivered to the room. They rooms are cleaned daily with fresh linen. There is a guard 24 hours a day at the entrance with a locked gate at night. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet,friendly hotel at a good rate.My wife and I will always stay at the Casa Nicarosa in the future.

I was visiting my family and I didn't know this place. I was booked in a different place that I didn't like. Before I return from Cagayan de Oro I planned to stay in Manila before proceeding to the US I searched for a place to stay and I found the Casa Nicarosa, It's a good hotel for the price. I'd like to stay there again on my next vacation.

the casa nicarosa hotel is a such a wonderful hotel and it is solemn place to stay.In terms of the place the place was great because its like a private which the entrace is must walk. while enter the entrance is its my house to stay. fro the beginning the place was so amazing place and great. its like the second house and the staff was so generous, kind, understanding, patient, approchable and most of all they respect the right of the guest who stayed in there.Inside the hotel was so fantastic and very creative in terms of the design and the facilities. the hotel is so solemn that you ca rest there as soon as you can. the frontliner staff was very kind and approachable and also they are polite. i have a wonderful experience in the hotel for 10 days that i stay in there.

The Casa Nicarosa is a Quaint little hotel that is Old but very well kept. Very pleasant and interesting furnishings. Attractive dining area for those that want to bring in their food to dine. The staff is very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel sets behind another building with a well lighted wide alley that is gated with security personnel on duty 24 hours per day. I felt very safe and secure in this location.I will stay at this hotel again.

i seen this hotel thru agoda and by reading the good review/comments i decided to stay to this hotel. it was perfect for what i'm looking for. the hotel is a block a way from cafe adriatico and many KTV bar if you like watching comedy show or live band. hotel staff was nice and helpful. good prices for the room and it was very clean. i do suggested this hotel to all tourist if you like to experience night life in manila. i know there more place to see but this is a good place to start.

I had a pleasant stay at the Casa Nicrosa Hotel in my two week stay in the Manila area.As staed above the only problem I had with the shower heater was fix quickly.The bed was conforable and the staff was very helpfull when I had any request.I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in a future visit to the Manila area.I would also recommend it to my friends or family to stay at this hotel in the future.

Lovely hotel and very effective service”
for a one-star hotel, i'm very pleased with the hospitality they give. casa nicarosa is a hotel run by all women employees, so they have to do all the porter job by themselves too. nevertheless they make all efforts to meet our demands in a pleasant manner. rooms are plain, though. you only find basic supplies like bed cover, toiletries, that are sufficient, yet can be improved to enhance the hotel's quality. sanity also is quite a letdown--we found a cockroach in the bathroom in the morning after. on the contrary to other reviews that i read mentioning this hotel was hard to be found, i found it quite easy to locate. take a turn near the sogo hotel, and just go straightforward.

Decent Hotel not really as pretty as it looks”
The Casa Nicarosa hotel is quietly located a block away from the Night clubs in Malate. I found the walk fairly safe for a guy despite the late hours. I would recommend a cab if unsure of your safety. Now the place is pretty but the website doesn't show the tall building just meters in front of the hotel. The standard rooms are not worth it. The only window opens up on a dark pit at the back and you get all the noises from the reception. However I found the deluxe rooms much better if you don't mind the wall standing meters away from your balcony. For the rooms opening at the back of the building the rooms are the same size as the standard room and they look just like a standard room. The deluxe rooms opening at the front of the building are much larger and very nicely decorated like the foyer. I found the Suites pretty blend. The Wifi only seemed to work in the foyer or the balcony at the front. The lady manager seems to hang around all the time and I found her a little abrupt in her manners. Definitely go for the deluxe at PHP1800. Watch out for taxes in Manila as it amounts to about 25% of the room rate if not included.

i am really do advice for all turists this nice pretty hotel, who no want to be in any biiiiiiig beehive....:):):):) Staff very friendly,helpfull, room is it always cleaned! i would advice for management of this hotel making more adverstiment, cause really taxi drivers usually dont know where is it the hotel location. For future turists i do advice telling to taxi drivers: close the MALATE CATHOLICH SCHOOL...that all drivers do know!

I actually enjoyed my stay in Casa Nicarosa. The staffs are friendly. They will help you in case you need something. The place is neat and comfy and the design of the hotel is beautiful even if it's small. If you are going to stay much in your hotel, the veranda would be the nicest spot to hang out. I must say the room is a bit boring but the other areas are really awesome.

We thought of staying somewhere out of Makati, and to explore Manila in a little more adventurous way. Staying in Malate is surely a way to look for adventure! Casa Nicarosa is close to the local night-life. and this means a lot of seedy looking bars in an area where we there were a lot of street kids and families loitering around. Most of the homes and buildings in the area had security guards and in each street corner there are working ladies lurking in the shadows soliciting customers. Casa Nicarosa is a small motel/hotel converted from an old mansion. the rooms are large but facilities and room set up is very very basic. It is a good place to stay if you just need a place to rest, and prefer not to spend much.

The hotel has a homey feel to it. It's a good place to relax and unwind within the hustle and bustle of Manila. We got a deluxe room but upon checking in, we got a free upgrade to a suite room which was really great! The staff was very friendly and courteous. They even served us breakfast even when we woke up late and didn't get the chance to eat at the scheduled breakfast hours.

The room was great, clean and comfortable. A little difficult to find hotel but that was due to an inept taxi driver. It is within walking distance to Baywatch, Malate Church, Cowboy Grill, and Harrison Plaza. The staff was very accomodating and friendly!

Very friendly staff”
We came to Manila hoping to arrange transport down to Borocay by ferry, as soon as we arrived the staff at this hotel got to work on finding out our options. They helped us book our onward travel even though it was complicated which saved us a lot of hassle. The owners were really lovely and gave us lots of advice and even treated us to dinner our first night!

Quiet and Amazingly Friendly Staff”
When I arrived, I was impress with the homely ambience of the hotel. The staff were all accomodating and friendly. They all tried to make my stay memorable. The location is very convenient to almost everything. The LRT Quirino Station is not far. I always love to walk. The Manila Zoo, shopping malls [Harrison Plaza, Robinson's], and Roxas Boulevard are very accessible. If you're not very choosy, their are plenty of food stalls around the area. They are cheap but you have to be careful if you have a sensitive stomach. Otherwise, there are also a lot of refutable restaurants within reach. It would be great if they can provide wi-fi service in the convenience of your room.

This is the first time staying in Manila & I needed somewhere cheap & cheerful. The Casa Nicarosa fills that need. Since it's small the staff are very friendly; I helped sort out a printer problem in their office and was able to print various downloaded documents. WiFi was available but one needed to be near the antenna which was fine in the cafe & reception areas. Breakfast was rather basic but for the room rate one can't complain.

I stayed here 1 night. The price was fair for the area; there are cheaper and also more expensive with same amenities. Since it had some frills like lots of pillows and a nice, reclusive atmosphere I'd say it is decent value. It is a bit out of the way -- about 10 min walk to the nightlife in Ermita; 25 min to intramuros -- but, it is close to a lot of comsmopolitan restaraunts in malate. Anyway, I'd recommend this, especially to couples wanting a mid-range hotel near malate and don't mind walking a few minutes.
