Great room and perfect location.”

The location is perfect. Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepcion are beautiful, safe areas with great restaurants and lovely shopping. Casa Puente is walking distance and easy to reach. The room was beautifully decorated and there is a lovely patio out back to read and enjoy the afternoon sun.

Our deluxe room was lovely with great outlook over a more &quot;real&quot; part of the city. Centrally located in a safe area for evening walks and cafes and bars.
The hotel could not bill in $US, (thereby saving the 19% VAT) but they say they will have that sorted in a couple of weeks. Worth checking before booking

Rooms designed by several artists. Very handy location with a large terrace in the old centre of the city. Secure parking place. Beautiful old house with several floors. A view over the city.
The old house is a little noisy. The cleaning of the bathroom was insufficient.

Amazing Valparaíso”

We liked the Manager, Rene, his staff were terrific, and the artwork throughout the property was amazing. The room was spacious and decorated very well.The complimentary dinner put on for New Years Eve was appreciated.
We were advised on arriving that to use our credit card to pay for the accommodation costs was strongly discouraged. As we had booked 4 nights over the New Year holiday it was extremely expensive! We tried to do what was requested and made 5 ATM cash withdrawals over 3 days. The Chilean bank fees, and the Australian bank fees, to do this totalled $104 AUD (54100, CLP)! A portion of these fees I deducted from the transfer cost from the airport. Apart from the extra cost to me in doing this it was also extremely inconvenient. If I cannot be guaranteed that I can use my credit card to pay at the property in future then it is highly unlikely I will use Booking.com ever again. Some suggestions to improve the hotel are: provide a box of tissues and body lotion along with the shampoo in the room, and increase the temperature of the hot water as it was just luke warm.
