    Fantastic”
Beautiful accommodation with a great view over the fort. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant provided some of the best food we’ve eaten in the Philippines! Only minor downside is the lack of hot water. WiFi worked really well. Taytay itself is awesome and shouldn’t be overlooked by tourists. Thanks for the brilliant hospitality guys xx

    Above average”
the location is at the center of town proper. but in actual it is not accessible to older people and with disability. the cottage is quite creepy outside because it stands alone from other cottages and the path going there is steep. Inside the cottage is clean but there are ants and insects and a small frog. the bathroom is good but they provide limited bath supplies. they dont have tv and also dont have WiFi. over all what i paid is not the worth of the service they have.

    Magical spot”
Having stayed here for several months in 2011, while doing my PhD research here, it was an absolute pleasure to come back and find it very much the same - only with the addition of wifi (albeit slow) and hot water for the showers. And Taytay now has 24-hr electricity (albeit with some brownouts). The view from the restaurant is absolutely spectacular - mesmerizing - and the luxuriant garden setting is tranquil. The cottages are comfortable and spacious, and Cottage 3 in particular has a beautiful view. The staff are kind and accommodating. Though they are sometimes lacking in food options (Taytay is not always the best-connected market in terms of produce, etc.), I enjoy the food. Being at Casa Rosa really feels like you are somewhere special.

A neat and tidy place for an overnight stay”
View of the shoreline and the fortress, good food, cleanness
Casa Rosa is a very pleasant place to stay overnight if you are in Taytay. It has a beautiful view from a high hillside with a cool breeze. Staff are very helpful and food is good. Unfortunately Casa Rosa is not on the beach so a longer stay is probably not likely. They do offer some interesting-looking trips in the surrounding areas, though, but we didn't try any.

Only place to Stay in Taytay”
Probably the only place you can stay in Taytay. The reason we wanted go there was the trip to Malampaya Sound, which didn't work out. They offer also other trips but for unreasonable price. We did a trip to lake by ourselves and paid 10 % of the price they offered us. We paid for 3 (2 adults, 1 kid), but our son got just a deck chair with no mosquito net (which is definitely needed). The net for master bed was good. The room as such wasn't bad, restaurant also OK but with so many mosquitoes and super slow staff. Everything took them soooo long, even we were one of the few guests. In general, the place is not bad but too pricey considering that they really don't offer anything extra. The worst thing is that there is really not much you can do. No beach around, no trek, just the lake.

    Lovely hotel, good food.”
We stayed here for one night, on our way to Noa Noa. The food was very nice, and also for a good price. We loved the view from the restaurant, and we also made a small trip to the fort, very nice sight. We took a tour to the lake close, but that was quite expensive (in comparison to tours in El Nido en Puerta Princessa). Room was great, big and very clean. Bed was a little to soft for my liking, but nevertheless very nice and big. Good bathroom too. Great location in a lush garden.

    Simple yet Relaxing”
After getting back from El Nido Resorts, Apulit Island we stayed at Casa Rosa. Though this does not compare to El Nido Resort it did the job. This was just a quick stop over before we headed south to Sabang (UGR). Casa Rosa was very simple. The eating atea was nice. Very relaxing. Its nice to be away from the crazy city. They offer board games and cheap food + alcohol. During our stay here we spent probably 5 hrs in the eating area enjoying the view. ( It was raining also so we were limited to outdoor activity - this was the closest thing) Reception areanged a tricycle driver for us at 3.30am as we requested. Nice and friendly staff. Thank you. 😊😊

    Beautiful ”
This place is amazing. There is a stunning view from the restaurant and the cottages and gardens are beautiful. I only spent one night in Tay Tay, but I think there is lots to see in the area (the town is only small), and would be worth a longer stay if travelling as a couple or a group (as there is less demand for tours than in El Nido and hence it's better to share costs). The staff working there are also very friendly. Beautiful place.

Good view, Nice private room/ little house, Nice city, not Many tourists , its verry local. Real philipinas.
From palawan take mini bus outside airport at street you Find. (Around 200php a person) ride 6h!!! From bus station taytay take motor taxi (20,-/30,- local money) (year 2015) Nice place to relax, good food at restaurant or outside also Nice places for drink or eat. The hotel Its at a high place and private area. I stay 4 nights. travel to 'El Nido' took around 2h to go there. Try local bus much cheaper and fun. ( if you stay overnight at el Nido left a note at reception). Verry friendly and help full people, just english not always realy good. They try hard to learn! I had no problem at all, just a verry Nice stay!! Thanks.

    My Stay at Casa Rosa”
    Food, Staff and price
It was like finding an Oasis after a long desert journey and the food is just great. Add to it the availability of cell phone signals and free wi-fi and it would be easy to forget that you are actually more than 200 Kilometers away from the nearest city. If it is the city that you want to forget, stepping out of its influences is just as easy as going back to your cottage, where the ambiance speaks loudly of an unhurried rural lifestyle. My only complaint? The water heater in my unit was not working when I was there. But then, to be fair, I only had 15 hrs for that stay. I left very early the following day. Too early to ask anyone to fix the water heater.

tasty food in bar overlooking the town. Lovely hammocks outside nicely built spanish style cottages, with cooling sea breezes
Relaxing day spent at casa Rosa before crossing to the islands. Staying at casa rosa could be a good way to stay cheaply, yet still access the natural attractions of the area. No aircon but good fan and great mosquito net. Lighting limited in chalet 2 compared to 1 and didn't work out how to get hot water, but the bar was an attractive alternative. Wifi available in bar but worked hard by guests. Nice setup generally. Very pleasant stay.

    Food, staff, and value
Our stay was delightful! We were only staying there one night en route to another destination, but during our short stay we felt right at home. The staff are very polite and helpful, food is excellent (must try the pizza), and value is great. Each room is basically your own hut, quite basic but for that price you can't go wrong. Only down side is that there isn't much to do in the city or surrounding area, mostly a stop en route to somewhere else.

    A wonderful find in Taytay”
    Views, attentive staff, comfortable cottages
Our experience with Casa Rosa has been nothing short of amazing. We booked a night in one of the small cottages as our stop over before heading off to an island hotel and we immediately regretted booking only one night. The cottage was so spacious and clean. Electricity is not available during the early morning until the late afternoon but it did not bother us at all. There is no A/C in the cottages but they do have very powerful ceiling and wall fans to keep cool. Plus, with the breeze coming from the sea, just pop open the massive window; giving you both fresh air and stunning views. We even had our own porch and hammock to use. The staff was so attentive and accommodating; arranging for someone to get me a couple of green mangoes from the trees when the craving hit me. The pictures online does not do the Inn justice. The next time we are around the area, we're definitely booking more than one night!

    Beds, gardens, hammocks, service, view
casa rosa may be the most you pay for accommodation during your stay in palawan, but your visit will be the most relaxing days of your trip. the cottages are simple, but feature a hammock and a porch with a view. the staff of this woman-run establishment are proud of the place, and offer excellent, but unobtrusive service. the food is great, and even if you bring a book, you'll find yourself just gazing out to the fort and sea beyond while enjoying the breezes. try the chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes (220p) or pizzas. and enjoy a bottle of wine for 450-550p a bottle! cottage 3 is the most private but the small cottage offers the best view and cottage 1 can catch wifi. the gardens are a sea of flowers! follow the road down from the bus drop-off to get there, or take a trike for 15p
