Comfortable stay”
I stayed only for 1 night at Casa Sandoval in a private room with a private bath & A/C. It’s just a simple pension house in the center of Bais with everything you need for a good night’s rest. I came to Bais primarily to go to Manjuyod White Sandbar so upon arrival at Casa Sandoval, I just inquired with the front desk. The young guys who worked the front desk ended up calling the manager on the phone, who then checked the boat availability for me & was able to connect me with the boat owner for the Manjuyod trip early the next morning. Since there are no group tours available that I could join, I ended up renting the entire boat to myself. After my Manjuyod trip, I went back to Casa Sandoval & the guys at the front desk let me check out a little later to shower & change clothes before catching the bus to Dumaguete. Overall, Casa Sandoval is a good no frills place for a comfortable overnight stay.

Affordable homestay”
Affordable homestay! We felt we just visited a relative in the province when we stayed here. Clean, basic amenities, friendly staff, good location and affordable rate! When we've got nothing to do in the room, the staff allowed us to stay in the common sala room (lobby) and use the WIFI. Wifi is super fast. We even used their dining table when we bought our breakfast nearby. I recommend this for those who would like to stay overnight in Bais City. Location: Just across Bais Elementary School (Pilot). Along National.Highway.

Basic room. Friendly staff. But experienced problems upon check in”
Pros * Easy to locate as it is along the main road. Known by bus driver. * Basic room with bed, tv and 1 plastic chair * Friendly staff as they will assist you in booking a tour for Manjuyod Sandbar and Dolphin Watching * Has security guard watching over the premises * Clean rooms and hallways Cons * Experienced a problem upon check in. Was able to book a room through agoda late in the afternoon and received an immediate confirmation. However, upon arriving, was told that they received another set of guests even though they admitted that they saw my booking and was first to place it. Waited for 30 minutes or more while they are resolving the problem and was later offered a room with common restroom which was a downgrade from what we booked. Asked for a discount instead but told that they cannot do it as they still need to process it with Agoda. They can only do it if we paid upfront. Went back from tour an hour past 12 noon and was asked to pay 200 pesos.

We didnt stay in the casa sandoval we have book another hotel the room was very dirty without window en the bathroom smetls very bad because there was no aération We have paid for nothing we shall made bad communication about this hotel it was a 0 star We hope you can do somethins for de désagrement

THE HOTEL SUCKS EXCEPT THE SECURITY GUARD”
THE FRONT DESK IN-CHARGE IS NOT ACCOMMODATING. WE ARE BOOKED IN DELUXE ROOM THRU AGODA. THE ROOM IS UNDER STANDARD. THE AIRCON IS DAMAGED, SO THEY MOVED US TO ANOTHER ROOM, STILL THE AIRCON IS DAMAGED. WE ASKED FOR AN ELECTRIC FAN, THE IN-CHARGE GETS IRRITATED TO US. AT NIGHT THERES NO WATER. YOU WILL LEAVE THE BATHROOM, NOT FLUSHING THE TOILET.

Preiswerte Unterkunft mit Kakerlaken”
Eine kleine Unterkunft zum kleinen Preis. Daher muss man aber auch Abstriche eingehen. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut, die Strasse hört man, obwohl unser Zimmer das Fenster in den Flur und nicht zur Strasse hinaus hatte. Und zu guter letzt gab es im Bad eine grosse Kakerlake, die von mehreren Kleineren begleitet wurde. Immerhin wurden die vom Rezeptionist nach einem kurzen Hinweis sehr schnell entsorgt. Zum Thema Dolphin Watching und Sand bar Ausflug hatte der selbe Rezeptionist zwar ein paar Kontakte, jedoch keiner von denen hatte eine Lizenz, die seit März von den Tourguides von der Stadt verlangt wird. Wir sind mit dem Trucycle am nächsten Morgen selbst zu der Ablegestelle gefahren und haben dort mehrere Schiffe gesehen, die trotzdem abgefahren sind. Wer also eine preiswerte Unterkunft mit einfachen Verhältnissen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Zu dem kleinen Stadtkern lauft man ca 5 min.
