Great location, amazing staff!”
I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Victoria hotel. It is right on Saud Beach which has such calm waters and a wonderful sunset. The room I had was a double room - Simple, clean, and efficient. I am a very easy going person and amy easily pleased. There might be guests who will not like the bathroom - no hot water, a little "rustic", but that won't deter new from staying there again. It was well worth the money. The food at the restaurant was excellent! I ate there pretty much the whole 3 days I was there. Yes, the food is a little pricey but you are paying for quality food and great service from the staff. Oh and the view! I highly recommend this place and will not hesitate to go back.
I personally enjoyed my stay in CASA Victoria. The value for money was worth every penny of it. Food was superb, my taste buds were having festivity everytime we dine in their resto. Accomodation wise it was what I expected actually it exceeded because although there was an issue with the booking by their agent they still accommodated us. My friend only complained about not having a heater on our bathroom , I hope that it would be address. Other thing was the beach itself. There is something biting in it, we weren't able to enjoy dipping further in it. But over all I will definitely come back to Casa Victoria.
Best resort in Pagudpud ”
I spent 2 nights in Casa Victoria. The staffs are very friendly. The even arranged my transport from the bus station to the resort at midnight. Very clean rooms. Wonderful beach front just few meters away from the resort. Food varieties are reasonable but good quality. Celebrated my new year there & the ONLY RESORT which had fireworks & countdown there. I will definitely come again!!
Clean, friendly, great location.”
Basically an excellent choice if you want a quiet holiday by the beach. Good food, friendly staff, rooms a little small but clean (no storage for your clothes in the room, :( live out of the suitcase), and the centre of Pagudpud is a, 20 minute tricycle drive away (50 pesos), for Americans or Europeans the service would be considered a bit too slow, but what's the rush? You're on holiday, adjust to Philippines time 😁 We thought Casa Victoria was simply great, we will go back there again !
Best Location in Saud Beach”
If you're looking for a beach front resort with decent price, Casa Victoria is your best option. The food is okay, price is good as well and the place is well-maintained. Kudos to the staff and the owner of this wonderful resort.
We got the family room even if we were only 2 people because we wanted 2 separate beds. We had a comfortable stay but I've stayed in other resorts in Pagudpud with a better price. The resort was right by the beach, although the water wasn't as enjoyable since we were stung constantly by something when we went swimming. The facilities were great, but would have loved stable wifi connection during our stay. The restaurant was the most diverse in the area, but it comes with a price. Towels may be changed daily, and staff were very accommodating.
Relaxed and quiet”
Casa Victoria is directly on the beach, with a few other low riss hotels nearby. Beautiful sand and very relaxing but there is not much to do except read, eat and drink...just what I wanted. The staff are very friendly and attentive, but it would have been better if the room had been serviced at least every other day. Nor an issue for me but some may not like that. I would definitely stay again.
Great beachfront location”
If you come to Casa Victoria expecting hotel-like facilities, it will be a letdown. It is adequate, though. It meets minimum requirements. The restaurant closes at 9pm, last call at 8pm, a tad too early for people who want to savor their vacation. Our shower has cold and hot water, but weaker than a runny nose. The TV reception is weak. But we don't go to Pagudpud for the accommodations but for the beach, and THAT didn't disappoint at all.
Quick trip to Pagudpud for a weekend escapade”
Casa Victoria has very nice beach front the restaurant facing the sea. Their rooms are located at the back of the restaurant so no beach views. The restaurant frontage is the access way going to the beach. Very nice view of the sea and windmills. The sand was very fine compared to the other areas of the beach. Although, we were not able to swim due to very huge waves, very cold weather, and it was raining on and off. Room was ok, nothing fancy, a bit congested compared to other resorts (family rooms). Service was regular, nothing noteworthy or special and the staff were not warm or that welcoming... must be the weather :) Food at their restaurant if good and price was reasonable, except for the regular breakfast which are very small serving and nothing special. Service and Staff needs to improve a bit...
Affordable, Good Food, Beach front, Friendly staff,”
Thankful to Mr Kim Santos their Marketing Officer who informed us about our double booking at Agoda, they assisted me and help on how to cancelled our booking. The room is very spacious good for a family of 7- 9 , The food serving is good and luckily we got a fresh yellow fin fish and have it grill. I hope next time the hot water on the rest room is ok, I dont know if it is only a display. Overall we are satisfy on our short time stay . Thank you Casa Victoria for the unforgetable accomodation. 👍👍👍👍
Great location, awesome staff!”
This beachfront resort works best for groups of people. They have the best quality of white sand as compared to other beachfronts. Great for kids to play around. Service is superb with very respectful staff. :) Food is good, not something you would come back for though (bbq is dry, pancit tastes better). They have a souvenir shop, items are not overpriced. Overall, we had a great stay here at Casa Victoria! :)
Great location on the beach. We spent most days exploring other areas in Ilocos Norte and came back for a late arvo swim at the beach. Food choices are limited and there are more options at other resorts along the beach. Our days were full of activities elsewhere and by the time we got back each day we just wanted to rest up and crash so accommodations were adequate for our purposes. Facilities to dry out swimming gear would have been useful as well.
Love the tranquility of the place”
Had a very pleasant stay at this resort. Excellent location, beach front, so we got to enjoy beautiful mornings by the beach. Best to swim in the morning where the tide is low, water is crystal clear and the waves are still mild. We did snorkeling but there's not much to see since the water is shallow and no corals, just plenty of seaweeds (they get carried by the strong waves if you swim in the afternoon so not recommended). We saw some flatfish and school of fish (very small fish)!😍 The resort has the basic necessities: clean room and bath room, soap, towel. I normally bring my own supply of toiletries so no complaints. Generous servings at the restaurant at a reasonable price. Also entertained by the presence of Jack and Sabina during our meals at the resto. All staff are very helpful, nice and smiling. We travelled long hours just to get to this resort but it was all worth it! We enjoyed our stay, overall and will surely come back!💞
Still worth it”
Stayed with this hotel from the first time we went to Pagudpud back in Dec 2016, and went back here 5 times already and the last was this Dec 2017. Food is great. Location is perfect. Staff is very accommodating. Price is worth it. Will definitely recommend this to any travelers who will be visiting Pagudpud.
Nice view and place! ”
Nice location & view to the beach and Clean surroundings BUT not recommended for Typical Filipino Adventurers/ Camper (Style) travelers like us who carry there own portable cooking equipment... Because you are forbidden to cook inside there facilities... Although they would recommended there own staff to cook your own food but still it is expensive.... Since the facility still has a vacant space and so that Casa Victoria can cater to more types of guests/ market like us.... I would suggest if they can build a "simple" common kitchen room or cooking room which travellers has the option to cook their our own food... Also may I suggest to extend there utilities to put water outlet in the parking area... So that travellers have the option to wash, clean & replenish there vehicles since a 10 hour travel to pagudpud is not a joke... I think vehicles too need to relax and be pampered to be cleaned ... Improve this and Casa Victoria deserves a 5 Star...
Nice location with beach access”
The double room with an own bathroom was clean and the facilities were okay. It met our expectations after we reviewed the pictures. The staff was friendly and available all day long. Ask the staff for hiring a tricycle to get around, the price is better than you'll find at the street. The location is directly at the seaside and there are just two steps from the restaurant terrace down to the beach. Cons: The shower delivered only cold water and the water pressure was very very low. The restaurant is a little bit expensive, but since there aren't any other restaurants around you have to eat there. The breakfast could be better and a bigger portion, especially because it's not really cheap. Summarized: We enjoyed the stay and would come again, but you need to calculate a little bit more money for the restaurant there.
It was a simple clean accommodation with a good parking space shaded with trees, but found this nicest beach just few steps from our room , the sand is light brown so fine and beach is not crowded, you can enjoy early morning swim when water is calm, with restaurant where you can have the best sisig, pinakbet and brewed coffee, there's even a local brand ice cream and crackers that we enjoyed. The staff were so accommodating and genuine to serve with a smile even helped to take care of our kids while we enjoy dining. There's also swimsuits and shirts for sale at a very affordable price. Thank you to your superb staff Sir Chris , Dennis, Claire and Honeylet. :)
Amazing sunset in beach front resort”
Pros - The staff are very accomodating especially Kim in the front desk who assist us when we arrived at 6AM. He even give us sone tips for our North&South Pagudpud tour and Ilocos Sur. Lobby-Restaurant is facing the beach so you can view the sunset while having your fave beer or cocktails. You can also view the famous Bangui windmills at the beach. Cons - the room is small for a group of four, likely around 18sqm. the beds are not bad though need to replace a thick blanket as the temperature in Pagudpud goes down at night. No exhaust fan inside the bathroom so the little window opens in 24hrs which mosquitoes and little flies can easily came inside the room. need to replace the shower head too. no toiletries, hair dryer etc. as expected so bring your own.
Right next to a nice beach”
(+) beach next to resort is one of best (clear waters, fine sand), clean room and toilet, hot/cold shower, restaurant food is delicious at a reasonable price, staff was accommodating when I requested hot water during the wee hours of the night, price of the room was reasonable (-) room a little small
Nice and calm beach plus a very accomodating staff”
Beachfront hotel. Their beach has white and fine sand; and definitely is better than that of the blue lagoon which was a bit rocky. I personally loved the beach, a day was not enough for me. We stayed in room 1 for 4pax. The room was big enough for us. It was clean too. However, it does not have closets for us to place our clothes. Their food was ok. I love their poqui poqui. Their price was reasonable. The only downside is that there is a time for the meals. Their resto does not serve in 24 hrs. We wanted to drink like till dawn but their resto closes for meals at 9pm and for drinks at 10pm. Kim was nice and the resto staff was very accomodating too. I would definitely go back here again for more serene moments. This place is definitely recommendable to other travellers.
