Nice location with beach access”
The double room with an own bathroom was clean and the facilities were okay. It met our expectations after we reviewed the pictures. The staff was friendly and available all day long. Ask the staff for hiring a tricycle to get around, the price is better than you'll find at the street. The location is directly at the seaside and there are just two steps from the restaurant terrace down to the beach. Cons: The shower delivered only cold water and the water pressure was very very low. The restaurant is a little bit expensive, but since there aren't any other restaurants around you have to eat there. The breakfast could be better and a bigger portion, especially because it's not really cheap. Summarized: We enjoyed the stay and would come again, but you need to calculate a little bit more money for the restaurant there.
Booked 2 (2double bed) rooms on first night, great beach.. Perfect ambiance, great resto fronting be”
Pros: own beach front resto, great location at the beach, nice room (2 double beds), cold beer, has tv but limited local channels Cons: aircon cooled on the wee hours of the evening but not sufficient in the afternoon with a weather like the Philippines, electric fan was not working properly even if you pay a rental for it, staff were moody, closed their wifi server and no one knows why, tried to order lunch but said no one will cook... You come here for the beach.. White fine sand.. Clean water except there were a lot of sea weed when we went there.. Also the waves are strong in the afternoon.. Children will enjoy the water better in the morning.. Better beach than blue lagoon area
We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were nice and clean. I love the location as it is beach front and you may chose to hang out in their bar and savor the view and serenity of the place. I also love that they have Jack and Sabina in the resort (they are their pet dogs :) ) However there are some points they may consider for improvement: - You can improve your shower, the water pressure is sadly very poor in our room which made our shower time longer - wi-Fi can be extended to the rooms Nonetheless, my family has a great stay. Thanks!
The room, cr, towels and bedsheets are clean. The room is spacious, but much better if they have more hooks in the wall, and if they will put faucet below the shower since they have no bidet. The restaurant serve decent food. Overall our stay is great and worth it for the price we paid.
Perfect beach location”
Room is fine, but the AC is not that cold enough at first. The view of the beach is so picturesque. The solo bulalo is like served for 3. Sobrang dami!😂 As much as we wanted to eat all, unfortunately, it didn't suit our taste and ended with leftovers.
Love the tranquility of the place”
Had a very pleasant stay at this resort. Excellent location, beach front, so we got to enjoy beautiful mornings by the beach. Best to swim in the morning where the tide is low, water is crystal clear and the waves are still mild. We did snorkeling but there's not much to see since the water is shallow and no corals, just plenty of seaweeds (they get carried by the strong waves if you swim in the afternoon so not recommended). We saw some flatfish and school of fish (very small fish)!😍 The resort has the basic necessities: clean room and bath room, soap, towel. I normally bring my own supply of toiletries so no complaints. Generous servings at the restaurant at a reasonable price. Also entertained by the presence of Jack and Sabina during our meals at the resto. All staff are very helpful, nice and smiling. We travelled long hours just to get to this resort but it was all worth it! We enjoyed our stay, overall and will surely come back!💞
We got the family room even if we were only 2 people because we wanted 2 separate beds. We had a comfortable stay but I've stayed in other resorts in Pagudpud with a better price. The resort was right by the beach, although the water wasn't as enjoyable since we were stung constantly by something when we went swimming. The facilities were great, but would have loved stable wifi connection during our stay. The restaurant was the most diverse in the area, but it comes with a price. Towels may be changed daily, and staff were very accommodating.
Kim was very accommodating over the phone and even in person. Food was very good too! Over-all experience was excellent.
If you want a cheap beachfront place that doesn't require the best amenities, this one is for you.”
The best thing about this place is it's very close (a few good more or less 50 steps) to Saud Beach which has one of the best sunsets I've ever seen. HONEST REVIEW: POSITIVE: Bed is large enough for 2. There's a TV with cable channels. There's a chair and a bedside table. Bathroom was okay. They've provided soaps, tissues and towels which is a PLUS for us. The room was quiet and spacious. NEGATIVE: Aircon wasn't strong enough during the day. It was placed almost near the ceiling and we couldn't move its swing windows downward so we had to move our bed to the spot where the airconditioning is stronger. Water in the shower sometimes get weak (supposing many people were using the showers at the same time). Food in the resto is expensive for quality and serving. You can go to Cocobar or Emuhruo which offers better tastes and servings for the same price. Will still recommend this place if you're okay with the above negative aspects and if you're looking for a place very near the beach.
Beautiful beach and very clean for the Philippines. ”
The rooms are small, but adequate. The restaurant food is mostly Filipino, but not too bad. Some better western choices would be nice. The TV is not so good for English choices. The beautiful beach makes up for these less than great considerations. I recommend the trip to the waterfall, but the rest of that tour is hardly worthwhile in my opinion. Take the good with the bad, I suppose.
Relaxed and quiet”
Casa Victoria is directly on the beach, with a few other low riss hotels nearby. Beautiful sand and very relaxing but there is not much to do except read, eat and drink...just what I wanted. The staff are very friendly and attentive, but it would have been better if the room had been serviced at least every other day. Nor an issue for me but some may not like that. I would definitely stay again.
Average based on facilities & amenities. If you are into budget and short stay, I will recommend this place for you.
Pros: location, friendly staff, cheap rates, food in resto is okay as well Cons: no hot shower and bidet. Bed not too comfy. But tolerable if you are out most of the time and just needs a place to spend the night on.
Clean, friendly, great location.”
Basically an excellent choice if you want a quiet holiday by the beach. Good food, friendly staff, rooms a little small but clean (no storage for your clothes in the room, :( live out of the suitcase), and the centre of Pagudpud is a, 20 minute tricycle drive away (50 pesos), for Americans or Europeans the service would be considered a bit too slow, but what's the rush? You're on holiday, adjust to Philippines time 😁 We thought Casa Victoria was simply great, we will go back there again !
Beachfront! You can see the windmill from afar. They allowed us to check in early. Staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
Great location, nice hotel.”
We stayed there for 8 nights. I was surprised that st checkout they wanted to charge 3% credit card fee. When I questioned them about the charge, they were quite unprofessional. Kitchen staff, servers were all great.
Good day. We are sorry about the experienced you had. We are happy as well that you we're able to bring this out to develop our operation and service. We are just so confused with the way it happened. We gave you options for settling your bills and I guess I was able to provide you the options properly. We had a good conversation since the beginning of your stay and I am still hoping for it but it suddenly changed. Your request turned into mandatory that some of it is not available on our service. We have listed those to at least discuss with the management so that it'll be available for our future customers. We still hope to see you. God Bless.
Right next to a nice beach”
(+) beach next to resort is one of best (clear waters, fine sand), clean room and toilet, hot/cold shower, restaurant food is delicious at a reasonable price, staff was accommodating when I requested hot water during the wee hours of the night, price of the room was reasonable (-) room a little small
Great location, awesome staff!”
This beachfront resort works best for groups of people. They have the best quality of white sand as compared to other beachfronts. Great for kids to play around. Service is superb with very respectful staff. :) Food is good, not something you would come back for though (bbq is dry, pancit tastes better). They have a souvenir shop, items are not overpriced. Overall, we had a great stay here at Casa Victoria! :)
Great location, amazing staff!”
I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Victoria hotel. It is right on Saud Beach which has such calm waters and a wonderful sunset. The room I had was a double room - Simple, clean, and efficient. I am a very easy going person and amy easily pleased. There might be guests who will not like the bathroom - no hot water, a little "rustic", but that won't deter new from staying there again. It was well worth the money. The food at the restaurant was excellent! I ate there pretty much the whole 3 days I was there. Yes, the food is a little pricey but you are paying for quality food and great service from the staff. Oh and the view! I highly recommend this place and will not hesitate to go back.
