Great host, unique property with character, with awesome views of the city.”

This is a wonderful old house perched on the hillside. It is very wonky as it has withstood many earthquakes, giving it real character. The friendly host made us feel welcome and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. The view from the balcony was amazing. I highly recommend this place for the more adventurous traveler that doesn't want the run-of-the-mill hotel. There was a homely feel and it was a social place to stay.
It was a little tricky to find, as the street has many offshoots, making the numbering confusing. Washing clothes is a little expensive, the bathroom is shared between quite a few rooms, but these were really minor things. The stay was wonderful.

They were nice to me and my family, I also brought my dog with me and they were very friendly to him. It has a very rustic style still is very comfortable, clean and the view is amazing. Gracias Ernesto and friends :) Only one suggestion: maybe adding some stairs so people can get into the tub more easily.

Je me demandais à quoi ressemblait l'intérieur de ces maisons colorées si jolies de loin accrochées à la colline. Ben... c'est rustique ! En France on les appellerait des 'masures'. Une expérience de vie à la chilienne, CSP--
Le petit déjeuner : une tasse de café et un demi avocat par personne, ça fait court pour un prix pas si bas que ça non plus!

Die Aussicht hoch oben vom Felsen auf die Stadt ist grandios. Man kann zu Fuß die Innenstadt schnell erreichen. Ich konnte das Motorrad diebstahlsicher im abgeschlossenen Innenhof parken.
Die Unterkunft wirkt etwas baufällig und heruntergekommen, hat aber einem Erdbeben in der 2. Nacht standgehalten.
