Very clean hotel. Very quiet neighbourhood. About 8kms from fort kochi. Uber available easily. Good food as well . If you are looking for a hustle bustle neighbourhood this is not the place. Secluded but taxis/uber available Easily

Good hotel but poor maintenance”
Everything is good especially the food, restaurant and the staff. But the rooms on the ground floor are pathetic. We stayed in room number 104. It was a horrible experience. The AC was not functioning properly and due to which it was very cold in the room. Even our cloths and belongings got wet due to the humidity. Lucky that we dnt fell sick. The extension was also not working. The hotel staff dnt do much even after complaining multiple times. I stayed at this hotel 2-3 times in the past. It was 5-6 years back and the experience was wonderful then.

CLEAN and pleasant...”
very obliging staff, efficient. Rooms are large, pleasant and clean. Indian standart a 4 star Hotel The Hotel has a wonderful restaurant; Fort Cochin, great, daily fresh fish . The only disturbing thing is the name "Casino". When the island was built, apparently there was a Casino in the same place, but now , fortunately no Casino anywhere near . Hotel is very ecologically minded...no plastic in use anywhere. BRAVO!!

Quiet and Peaceful”
We loved the hotel architecture and really loved the inviting charm of it. The hotel location was a little ways from most things other then a few basic stores. We enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the restaurant food which set the bar quite high for the rest of our trip. Lots of variety and always fresh. We also took advantage of the pool which was very clean. They could use a few more sun beds at the pool as we had to stretch a towel out on the grass both times we went to the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. We did eat out up the street at a family run restaurant couple door up from the hotel the second floor and it was very good. If you are just looking to relax and eat well Casino Hotel would be a great spot for a couple of days. You could always take a tuk tuk for a few dollars to go out to local attractions.

Good location, has a pool”
The only place to see in Cochin is Fort Cochin. From the Casino Hotel you have to take a ferry (5-10 min)to get there but you have the advantage to sleep in a quiet area. It is aproximateley 40 km from the airport, so it maybe is not that convenient if you have to take the plane the day after (1 hour ride). The breakfast is ok, free WLAN in the lobby area. Bathroom was ok, bed was clean. For 65 Euro an excellent choice. If the reservation makes you understand that you have a free airport pick up, beware, in our case we were proved wrong and had to pay 990 Rupees for the taxi ride, which is way overpriced.

Relaxing oasis”
After a hectic schedule of travel in the Thar desert of Rajasthan, this was a lush, tranquil oasis. The seafood restaurant was fantastic and the services offered such as the massages were a tonic to the weary traveller. The Willingdon Island location is far quieter than the more touristy area of Fort Cochi. Loved it, will defintely be staying here again.

Good for short stay”
The casino hotel is on Willingdon island which used to be near the domestic airport. Now that the airport has moved it's location is limiting for tourists. I only stayed for two nights and had a full day tour so it wasn't so much of a problem for me but I would recommend staying in Fort Cochi itself.

Good But Old Hotel”
Casino hotel is on willingdon island, which is a ferry ride away from Fort Cochin. It's a very quiet area, and there isn't much to do. If you are looking for a resort that is quietly hidden from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is where you should go.
