Good
Good and quite place if you want to escape from Manila for couple o nights. Nice staff and good food. parking is awful. Snorkeling not bad, some coral really close and nice, but heavy boat traffic. Almost all resort around is for divers.

Homey, Artsy, and Hearty
The best getaway in Mabini Batangas, in my humble opinion Amazing value for money for the following: • Delicious freshly prepared healthy but hearty meals. • Stunning atmosphere, landscaping and architecture. Strategically nested around hilly greens and upfront the sea. • Beautifully designed and well-crafted interiors and amenities. Perfect place to relax and share amazing views and moments with your loved one, within reach of Metro Manila and your budget :).

The manager or was it (owner ?) Is accomodating to guests
Upon arrival we were told that outside food is not allowed but they dont have choices except the menu of the day which is extremly pricey considering the location and availability of local food. This makes me upset the whole stay. No wifi no tv on our last day no water on the shower.

Serene & pleasant
I was a little hesitant after I read the reviews as it was 50/50, but I needed to stay somewhere pet friendly for my dog. I gotta say it's a really special place. My shihtzu made other doggy friends & was free to roam around the property. It's not luxury but it is a cozy, sanctuary type of bed & breakfast. Our room was clean (with AC but no TV) though we had a problem with the toilet flush at first. Management was quick to address the issue & even had someone go out to buy parts. Staff was friendly & accommodating! It's somewhere you go to disconnect from the rest of the world. It's right by the water & it's calm enough so you can snorkel & kayak. Read a book & relax. They have small pools not for swimming but just a nice dip with a great view. You wanna swim, you have the sea right there. Made friends with some of the guests. Free breakfast is the same everyday (omelet with rice; unlimited fruits, toast & coffee). They do have the set lunch & dinner at 600 each (comes with appetizer, soup, main dish & dessert). Though you can't really choose the meals, you just hope for the best and we weren't let down. It was filling but I can see how some people may feel they need more to eat. Don't expect a bar for the booze lovers, though they have some wine & always have local beer (Pale Pilsen at 80; kinda ouchie). No wifi in the rooms, just the dining area (and it's only a pocket wifi which wouldn't work on my gadgets for some reason). But again, it's a place to disconnect, find tranquility & enjoy nature! Overall, it was a pleasant experience and it was where we celebrated New Years, my birthday & our anniversary in one long weekend. The whole property was so nice & it really looked like how it did in the photos! My only suggestion: they really need to have more food! No need for a full blown restaurant but maybe have a sandwich menu? Ingredients that can store easily... ham & cheese, tuna & cheese, BLT & egg sandwich! Easy! Reading the reviews, seems like a common concer

Great, acoommodating staff
Casita Ysabel used to be a private vacation house of owners until they decided to open up the place initially as bed and breakfast. It's Balinese themed rooms are nice. My husband goes to Anilao to scuba dive. Casita doesn't have a dive shop but they would endorse you to nearby resorts like Planet Dive. If diving is not your thing, then snorkeling is awesome! They have the gear you'd need if this interests you. Dinner may be a bit pricey (Php600/pax), but if you don't feel like driving up the steep hill going to the exit to find a place to eat, then might as well have dinner at Casita Ysabel. The food is pretty good actually. Pool is small - more for dipping than swimming. I think the plus is the staff, especially Anna. We were exhausted after the snorkeling and requested for them to whip up something in the kitchen .. and Voila! Pancit guisado with juice. If peace and "seclusion" is your thing - then this place might just be the right one for you.

👌🏻
The place was quiet. Aside from 3 foreigners, our family (5 adults) were the only ones who occupied the resort. The staff were accommodating. Though a bit gloomy, our room was spacious and clean. Our only concern that night was the pocket wifi used at the hotel was handed to the foreign family who were also checked in that night (without informing us that they were borrowing it), so we weren't able to use the pocket wifi because it was in their room. Aside from that incident, the experience was still relaxing and nice.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Casita Ysabel
anilao resort calm
We stayed in the Ysabel house and had a lovely view of the ocean side. The location is picturesque and situated in a calm area along the Anilao shoreline. With a lot of stares to climb it is a cozy and nicely modelled hotel. We had the dinner package which was a five-piece serving; appetiser, main dish, two side dishes, and desert. We were happy with the taste and how well the tastes fit together. The room was a nice airy room with good standards.
