I really love my stay here at Casitas. Staffs are very acconmodating. Sumptuous breakfast. Very clean Rooms. Super attentive front desk. When my guy couldn't reach me thru my personal phone, he was able to call the front-desk and asked if I had already arrived. The next time I'll visit Palawan, I will definitely come back to Casitas (hopefully w/my guy). :)

Comfort zone after a tiring tour

If I can rate my stay for a range of 10, I'll give it 7. Three things need improvement: 1) Toilet and bathroom - hot shower seemed to have a fixed level of warmth (very hot). Toilet flush needs to be triggered most of the time to accumulate water 2) Food - although breakfast is a complete set, it lacks variety. Scrambled egg not so appetizing 3) First aid kit - the hotel lacks some first aid kit supplies. I got coral scrapes during my Honda Bay tour. I asked if they have cotton and betadine, but there's none The best thing in this hotel is its staff. They're very courteous, attentive and very welcoming. Keep it up.

Niggly Problems
I was GRANDPAcking in PP for 8 nights. I booked a standard double. The room is about 15sqm and comes with aircon (which is a bit noisy – so I just used it in ‘fan mode’), cable TV (with English movie and sports channels), hot water shower (with good water pressure), in-room wifi (which comes and goes), and a free breakfast. Alas, I found the Casitas to be poorly run. On check-in there were no toiletries or toilet paper – so, I had to go to reception and get some. The rooms are not cleaned daily by default. You have to display a ‘Clean My Room’ tag on your door knob. I didn’t notice this so, on my 3rd morning without a clean, I dropped off my keys at reception and asked if they could clean my room today; they said that they would. When I returned at the end of the day, it had not been done; I had to go back to reception and ask them to do it. They made my bed and tidied the bathroom but did not change my towel nor the linen. The next day I dropped off my towel at reception and asked for a clean one. I returned 1 hour later to pick it up. When I went for my shower I found a thread-bare towel with a big hole in it. I had to go back to reception for a replacement. A shame really because it has a nice courtyard setting... It could have been so much better with a little more effort on their part.

Very bad service find another hotel
I left a scathing review about this hotel previously Stay away and find find another hotel as the service was non existent no clean towels for 9 days, never cleaned the room and rats in the bathroom.

Awful place, Awful Staff, Awful Location and RATS!
SO where to start, stayed 9 nights (would have moved but pre-paid so nor refund.. Upon check in they had no idea we had booked a room, they couldn't figure out if they had a room so went unlocking doors to see if the rooms were occupied.. Hotel transfer from airport: a NO SHOW. Location; all the tricycles had trouble finding the place, it's far from the city area so they hardly go here. And you need transport to go anywhere.. Room; room itself was ok, decent size, bathroom ok, BUT first morning I found that RATS had been coming into the bathroom and eating the soap..they "fixed" the problem by putting a spring doorstop on the door so they at least remained in the bathroom and not in the bedroom.. Cleaning of room; so after 2 days I asked in a friendly manner if we could have the room cleaned, fresh towels, bedsheets etc. It didn't happen, so asked again the following day, it didn't happen, for the 9 nights in the room they cleaned ONE TIME, they didn't replace toilet tissue at all during the whole stay (I ended up buying my own) Breakfast; was disgusting, we had booked tours and activities leaving early morning, I specifically requested from staff at reception that we would like breakfast at a set time (in a nice 'please and thank you manner") Again it NEVER happened, one morning I came out the room to find 4 groups/tables of customers all eating breakfast and yet somehow they "forgot" ours, one morning the "toaster was broken sir" so that meant no breakfast (I am happy with rice) Perhaps it was just bad timing and those in charge were away, but those providing the "services" need to find another source of employment as they clearly have no idea how to run a hotel/guest house/pension home. Incase I havn't made it clear I would say without a doubt this is the worst run "hotel" I have experienced in over 30 years of travel in Asia...

Nice friendly and cozy
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a minor problem with my room and was immediately relocated to a different room. Upon departure I got free Minivan transfer to the airport. The tours provided are at a good price and perfectly organized. The inhouse Thai restaurant is just opening up and offers good food at reasonable prices, just don't expect too genuine Thai food (it is tasty and clean, though). The only negative point is the laundry service. It took a longer time than expected and my clothes stank more than before. Also the Wifi reception is not always rock solid.
