You can also visit Angsana and Banyan Tree (also same owner) Spas and Restaurants and these 3 hotels have the beach to themselves. Room is spacious and has a balcony with table and chairs, a smoking tray provided as well. Toilet and shower has separate doors so both can be used stand alone. Kitchen has all the utensils provided and a coffee pod machine (Bring your own pod or you can purchase at the reception). I enjoyed the coffee at the breakfast so that was enough for me. Beach sandals , towels and a huge bag to put your stuff to the beach are all found at the very tiny wardrobe corner. Clothes drawers, iron board and hair dryer are provided but there is hardly any space to hang your clothes properly like a normal hotel wardrobe. This is an environmentally conscious hotel so housekeeper only comes every other day (you may request for daily cleaning but additional charges apply). No room service available. The amenities in the room is very basic. No body lotion or cotton pad provided. Water are given in large glass bottles - no plastic bottle. Air con is not centralised so you can adjust the temperature as you like. There is one in the living room and one in the bedroom. However, the controllers doesnt work all the time and I have no idea why. I wasn't able to adjust the temperature but I didn't call the reception about it, thinking I can try later. By the time I went to bed, it was quite late and the controller still doesnt work so I just went to sleep. You can open the window to sleep as well but the fan doesnt seem to work in the room (living and bedroom) I love the breakfast buffet at the Angsana hotel. I can see a difference in the services between Cassia and Angsana. The breakfast staff are alot more friendlier and one staff even took the effort to remember my name and greeted me warmly on the 2nd day. Thoroughly impressed with the spread - indonesian cuisine on daily rotation, congee, soup, noodles, egg station, a wide selection of bread (Gluten free too), donuts, croissants, yoghurt, fruits, 2 types of cheese slices. I love the prawn crackers! The chilli pastes that come with it were delicious too. I enjoy the beach - very fine sand and very shallow waters so it's good for anyone who is fearful of a sudden drop in the seabed or has a need to touch the seafloor while in the waters. Be careful to hang out at the beach at night - I got bitten alot by mosquitoes. They have daily activities (paid and free ones) so do check those out. Yoga, sound healing and so on. There is a counter next to the reception by external tour operator so you can book day trip to sight see or go snorkelling (minimum pax to go). There is no delivery services like gojek or uber as well as no transportation. You may book a driver from the tour operator counter to take you on a private tour around the island. I did a 4hr tour to the blue lake/sand dune (same tourist attraction), 2 temples, a local beach for fresh coconut water, and even drop by a local supermarket and hawker centre. My group has a couple who opted for massage at a local spa center and my tour guide Haris dropped them there. The spa later arranged transport to bring them back to the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Cassia hotel.

Upon arrival, we requested a room upgrade (with an additional fee, of course), and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. They were extremely attentive and polite, thoroughly checking all the last-minute guest check-outs to find the perfect room for us. Thanks to their efforts, we ended up with the room we wanted! The attention to detail was exceptional. When the housekeeping staff made up our room, they added a fun and personal touch by writing welcome messages on the mirror and crafting a cute "enjoy your stay" message on the bed. We truly appreciate the effort! Room service was impressive—when we needed something late at night, they promptly attended to us. Additionally, when we provided feedback about one of the dishes at the Xana Beach Club restaurant, the staff immediately followed up. They double-checked our comments to ensure they understood correctly, relayed the feedback to the chef, and even offered us a complimentary fruit salad. We were genuinely surprised and touched by this level of service, especially since the food was great overall—it was just a minor comment, but they treated it with utmost seriousness. At check-out, I informed the receptionist that I had accidentally broken one of their water bottles. She was understanding and reassured me not to worry, asking us to enjoy breakfast while she arranged for someone to check the room. To my surprise, the hotel chose not to charge us for the bottle, even though they had the right to do so. The exceptional service didn’t stop there. Seeing that we were traveling with a toddler and multiple pieces of luggage, the receptionist arranged for a private car to take us to the ferry terminal instead of having us join the shared coach. This thoughtful gesture truly exceeded our expectations and made our departure so much more comfortable. Thank you so much for an amazing stay! The hospitality, attention to detail, and personalized service were outstanding, and we can’t wait to come back again!

From start to finish, everything was seamless, and the hospitality of the staff truly stood out. Special thanks to Ana, David, Kris, Roger, Tyana, and the entire team for making us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel’s assistance with transport to and from the ferry terminal was a huge plus, making our stay smooth and completely hassle-free. It was one less thing to worry about, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful service. The breakfast was incredible, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start our day. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, as parents of twins, we did notice a need for improvement in stroller accessibility. Staying in Block 5 required navigating some stairs to reach the lobby, which made it a bit challenging to carry our stroller at times. Another area for improvement would be having room service menus readily available in the rooms, which would make dining even more convenient for guests. A major highlight of our stay was winning a two-night stay voucher at Banyan Tree Seoul at the Year End Party! We are incredibly thankful for this amazing prize, but I do hope there’s an option to exchange it for a location closer to us like Banyan Tree Phuket or Bintan, given our little babies’ circumstances. Despite these small suggestions, the rest of our experience was exceptional. Our late lunch at Treetop was a highlight, with Julie going above and beyond to make our little New Year celebration extra special. Kudos also to the Banyan Tree buggy team for their thoughtful assistance with our twin strollers. Our dinner date at Saffron was intimate and unforgettable, with a perfect blend of ambiance and cuisine. While we hope to see a more extensive meal selection at Vista Restaurant and Xana Beach Club next time, this trip far exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Team Cassia Bintan, for an amazing holiday and for making this New Year truly special! We can’t wait to come back!

Only this hotel has the foam party, making it more lively. The food prices here are reasonable, though the other hotels are comparable to 4–5 star hotel prices. The room is spacious, with a living room. We were given a room with two single beds and a balcony facing the garden, with a view of the beach. Housekeeping cleans the room daily, but linens and towels are not changed every day. You can also request drinking water from the counter. They provide shuttle services from the port, or you can arrange for a private car pickup, which is very affordable. Be sure to try the Banyan Tree Spa—it’s definitely worth it.

Food was not thaaaat amazing but not bad it was okay ish. Bin Tan it self I find a bit boring. Just to have some relax time clean beach,spa some activities is better. Firefly tour I don't advise they are killing the fireflies since the guides are not educated about how sensitive they are capturing shaking etc. they will extinct soon.

Apart from that, the resort is big and on a hill which require quite alot of walking distance. Not suitable for older people or wheel chair. Room located at the end needs to go up and down several lifts/stairs. Thankful for friendly staffs. They were patience handling different customers. Everywhere you go you will need to take a shuttle out. If the shuttle is full, have to wait longer for the next despite waiting at the lobby much earlier. We had kids and elderly obviously cant chase to board the bus first and ended up waiting longer for the nxt ride. Hence not so convenient. Room was clean n tidy though small. Baby cot cant fit in the room which ended up in the living room. Facilities ain't much as compared to other beach resorts. Breakfast may choose to go to angsana resort or cassia resort. Both hv the same menu. Surprisingly, 2 breakfasts were were there n both days are mainly the same. Not much change in menu. Overall, was ok decent trip.

With a additional living room and a kitchen for simple cooking. The facility was quite good. Swimming pool gym are good. Only one drawback is the the breakfast area is quote hot and not well ventilated. So the breakfast was not really fantastic experience. The food provided are ok. Take note that this is a private area relatively isolated from other town area. The convenient stall here is quite overpriced. Better buy some instant noodle and drinks for the few days stay here. The beach was fantastic I like the quiet atmosphere and relaxing vibe.

The bed was comfy, and everything was clean and functional. The beach access and nearby Lagoi Bay area were definite highlights—easy to explore, with a few restaurants and attractions within reach. Food is just amazing, room cleanliness is at its best, beautiful private beach with no shortage of activities. From sea to land activities, there’s so much to do at Cassia. Most memorable was the turtle release conservation programme. Staff is always smiling, friendly, helpful, after seeing them a few times they remember you and small details like that make you feel honoured as a guest. I can’t recommend Cassia enough

WiWi, Ratna and Liang from Angsana attended to us during breakfast and made sure that we are comfortable. Bambang was ever helpful at the reception and handled our arrival and departure comfortably. All the staff know how to make their guests feel comfortable and they all take feedback very seriously. When you are less than satisfied with the food or with the service they will make sure to make right the situation almost straightaway. I will highly recommend Cassia or any of the Banyan tree hotels for a most relaxing and carefree getaway.

| Singapore | GroupThe staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing. By far the best customer service we’ve had in a long time. The hotel is really clean, with good facilities and a beautiful pool. Unfortunately the location wasn’t for us as we felt there was no where to visit ‘outside’ of the resort so we decided to check out early after a few days of relaxing. We also felt our room was really far from reception / pool, which was a shame as the hotel felt completely empty when we asked to move rooms. With that being said, the beach is beautiful and the breakfast was really good as well. To summarise, If you want a few days of relaxing and good food, this is the hotel for you. If you want to explore new places or walk to a shop etc, this isn’t the hotel for you as it’s very remote. The staff at this hotel really do make it, especially Remel (sorry if we’ve remembered his name wrong) from Xana beach bar and all the ladies at breakfast and on reception who remembered our names and room number even after just 1 day of us being there.

Berliana is always kind and welcoming, remembering your name and making you feel at home. Kris is quick and helpful to your request. Benny is a brilliant Cassia ambassador. Wiwik is so cheerful and remembers your name no matter long you have not been there. In fact, I have to say each and everyone of the staff from the bus drivers and assistants, maintenance guys (who solved our room's smelly couch issue so quickly), to housekeeping, restaurant, spa, security, beach cleaners and conceige are always kind, smiling, friendly, helpful, speedy to assist to make you comfortable and efficient. It's always a joy to come back to Cassia. Kudos to the Management for the training and employment of the people who makes Cassia a home away from home.

I opted for their Birthday Booster package, and we were welcomed with beautiful decorations and a delicious cake upon check-in. They even upgraded us to a garden-view room, giving us a stunning ocean view right from our room. The room was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I also booked the Destination Dining experience, and although we couldn’t have dinner at Hole 17 due to the weather, the team seamlessly relocated everything to a better spot. Their exceptional service and the scrumptious meal made it just as special. Every staff member we met was incredibly warm and always had a smile on their face. My parents had a wonderful time, especially my mom, who celebrated her 60th birthday getaway here. I’ll definitely be back and will highly recommend this place to everyone I know. Kudos to the amazing team!

Paid 150sgd a night and value was 400sgd so massive win! - beach is clean, large, private and beautiful. Snorkeling possible but extremely basic. Same beach and facilities as Banyan tree and other other next door so stay at Cassia and enjoy all 3. - great beach bar at night with happy hour. Seafood bbq dinner on Saturday - many restaurants options among the 3 hotels and free shuttle or short walking distance - laguna golf next door - basic kids club available at no charge in hotel next door - great for rainy day. Our kid got sick, not sure if it is from that or from foam pool party though Con - basic breakfast - western option is just bread and sweaty fake cheese. No Salmon, ham or anything else. Glad I brought my own pate and cheese and I basically ate my own food. - lock unsafe - staff tried opened our door and to enter our unit 3x in less than an hour even though we double locked it. Very scary situation as we thought we were being robbed. We called security. It appears it was a cleaning staff. Scary than you can’t lock yourself in like in most hotel with a physical lock. - rooms not cleaned daily like most hotel
