Cottage in a beautifil tesort”
Try the delicious food of the restaurant, especially the Asian main courses, like Mekong prawns. Taste the mango juice and have the free cocktails around 4 p.m. while laying on a beach chair, looking at the sea. Take the excursion proposed by the diving desk in the hotel with the expert Tammy.
Beautiful little place ”
We stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely recommend it. Here are four things we loved: 1) Organic, homegrown produce grown in their own beautiful gardens meaning food quality was high in the restaurant 2) Genuine eco friendly approach to the whole property (actively discouraged the use of plastic and straws) 3) Large, airy rooms with four poster bed (inc. mosquito net) and lovely balcony 4) Friendly, helpful staff happy to help with any taxi bookings or general assistance at any time
Fantastic Staff & Great Resort”
warm welcomed when we arrived & very impressed with all the facilities & meal are cooked by the home planted spices & herb.. very special thank you to prepare a special & memorable birthday night with the good food.. highly recommended to stay here..
Idyllic beach retreat”
Cassia Cottage has everything you need - beautiful grounds, delicious food made with high quality ingredients, and friendly, competent staff. This was our second visit, and it likely won't be our last.
Everything is amazing at Cassia”
I fell in love with this resort while searching for an accommodation for our vacation. Didn’t know why but I knew I was perfectly right to book it here out of hundreds of other beautiful resorts. Everything was wonderful, the private cottage and its facilities, the location (15 mins on taxi from/to the airport, right in the centre of Phu Quoc, easy access to the north for Vinpearl or to the south for the islands), the pools and the private beach, the restaurant and the foods, the spa,... and especially the staff. Cannot desribe how much we love Cassia. We had such an amazing weekend for 3 nights and we regreted not staying for a 4th night. We certainly are coming back to Phu Quoc very very soon and Cassia will be still the place we choose to stay.
So amazing & happy! Your staffs are so great!
nice resort with friendly staff ”
we had stay for 2 nights with modern room .The room decoration is simple. building and room is heritage style. the room is clean and the bed is very cosy with lovely curtain . the room has pleasant smell like in spa. totally in love with the cinnamon smell. they provide shampoo , conditioner and shower gel with scrub. The only downside is the room has no TV. Friendly staff, always smiling and helpful . Breakfast is good but limited option. please take note that u can rent the bike for 10usd for a day.Good location , in the central of city
Highly recommend ”
Absolutely enjoyed my stay at Cassia Cottage Resort, fantastic facilities and meals, the staff are very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Thuy An, Nay, My and Lorenz. My room was so quiet and relaxing and I would definitely stay here again.
A tranquil oasis”
There isn't just one thing that makes Cassia Cottage a delightful retreat from the urban bustle of HCMC or Can Tho; it's all the little details. Gorgeously maintained gardens, an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a swing hung from a palm tree on the beach, outdoor showers, lovely and helpful staff, the most comfortable bed we've found in Asia, spacious and tastefully appointed rooms...the list goes on. We've already started telling our friends about it and hope to return ourselves someday.
Love the design of the cottage! There is a welcome fruit plate from the hotel that we forgotten and it was left at the outdoor patio. We got uninvited guests (squirrels) nibbling the fruits and having a party! haha.. overall very pleased with the hotel
Charming beach-side hotel”
We have just returned from a very pleasant couple of nights at Cassia. The rooms were lovely, the staff very helpful, and the food delicious. Only downsides were the construction work going on at present, which meant that the spa was moved into a bedroom, and there was noise around the pool area. There is also a lot of other ongoing construction along the beach - especially on the stretch towards town.
Cottage style beach B&B”
We love our stay in Cassia Cottage although it was definitely not a 5-star hotel one can expect of. We'd love to compliment the staff for their hospitality and tireless help on getting us around the island and preparing breakfast for us leaving early the next day's morning. The very limited breakfast menu was the only thing we would like to comment and hope they will be able to serve more local food and beverages.
My stay was very enjoyable and had a lot of fun during my stay there. I wished breakfast had more healthier food options like wholewheat bread, etc. This will further appeal to more health conscious guests. Other than that, everything was top notch especially service! The resort is well maintained as well and most staff could speak good English. The restaurant serves great food and pretty affordable. The massage was pretty good as well, i recommend to sign up for one.
Beautifully appointed, excellent staff”
we finished off our honeymoon with 3 nights staying at the cassia cottages on phu quoc island. i can not speak highly enough of this beautiful resort. while we are the more adventurous type and spent our time exploring, most couples / families were more than content hanging either by the pools or the beach. the restaurant has fantastic food and all of the services get top marks from us, including one of the best massages i had over the whole trip. not to mention the free cocktail each day... it wasn't hard to see why it was the busiest resort on the whole beach!
Wonderful place to stay”
we had an amazing stay at cassia in one of their garden cottages. we had one very close to the pool so location was great.some days we did not even leave the resort it was so nice to be there. all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. lovely meeting sandra on reception who was such a friendly happy person whilst still being professional and helpful.staying here was the highlight of our three weeks away.
Great hotel indeed. only issue is the remote location and around half a km or more walk from the main road. the approach road leading towards the hotel is really rough. but once you step into the cassia, the atmosphere and ambience is worth the rough ride. has around total 18 cottages. actually its not so big size campus. but in its own sweet way, a decent dining and breakfast area, reception has all the tourist info you want along wiht free maps and north/south island trips info. staff is very helpful. has its own private beach with sunloungers. i would definitely like to come here again. not far from airport and centrally located in the island. Sao beach is 25 kms from the hotel.
Lovely small luxurious resort”
We stayed in the Beach House, it has a living room plus 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large verandah with outlook to the sea through palms. There are two swimming pools, one for kids and also the waves in the sea were child-friendly. The best resort, we have been in Vietnam.
Lovely hotel, great location & service with a smile”
Our first stay on Phu Quoc Island and we definitely would go back to Cassia Cottage and Phu Quoc again. We loved the cottages, two swimming pools, private beach etc. The hotel staff was very helpful and we felt we got a good value for our money (which is not always the case). The hotel owner has a great story (we only read about the owner but did not meet him). We did learn that June is season the Ocean is rougher on the west side of the island (the waves where on the big side for a swimming in the ocean). We ventured to the south coast to snorkel, we where told that the ocean is easy to swim in June on the south coast and where blown away at how beautiful and calm the water was. If you want to swim in the ocean while staying a resort on Phu Quoc Island, you might want to research if the beaches are calm or rough during the time you plan to stay.
Just incredible. One of the finest hotels I’ve ever been to. Every need is catered for. Ran by an army of great staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. I didn’t want to leave. Don’t think twice just book it. I will be back.
Nice resort but expected more at this price point.”
This resort had a lot going for it. Beautiful grounds, nice comfy rooms, friendly staff. There were just some minor items that we noticed that you would expect when paying $200/night in Vietnam. Most of the other rooms we rented in Vietnam were under $30. For example the towels were like old sandpaper, the cleaners were very loud and came very earlier to the rooms next door to us when people checked out. Also the drinks were kind of expensive and over priced. Loved the local beer on tap though! The restaurant was great and the staff was very helpful though some seemed a little inexperienced, but that could have just been our timing. Another thing that we would recommend is outdoor fans on the patios. Overall good but not great, but easily could be in time!
Free Wi-Fi in all rooms!
