It's a short walk from the centre of Catba Town, but at the pier where many of the boat-tours on Halong Bay leave. The staff didn't speak much English, but we managed. breakfast wasn't much special.

Okay... This would barely be a 1 star hotel by western standards. The shower was a nozzel above the toilet - no tub, curtain, etc. Most of the lights in the room didn't work. A giant cockroach was lurking on the wall. The hotel is far from the center of CatBa and requires a $1 motorbike ride to get anywhere (which grows old when you want to eat, etc). Staff were friendly-ish, but typical to the area, scammed me $2 for breakfast. Overall, it was quiet, had a comfy bed and aircon, but everything else was iffy.

A good place to stay to avoid the city center”

The location is great if you want to avoid the city center and all its clubs. The hotel is located only 3 km from the city center in a quiet and peacefull bay. There is no beach but at least the seaside view. Rooms are ok. Nothing special. Wifi is not working in rooms but only in the lobby. The owner was very helpfull and ready to answer all our questions but his wife doesn't speak English. The only thing she can say is asking for money when you have to pay something. She was quite annoying. The chambermaids did a good job but watch out in the morning because they enter the room without knocking before. So it can be quite surprising if you want to sleep late or if you just leave the shower... Comparing to the accommodation you can find on Cat Ba Island, this hotel was good. I would recommend it!

Das Zimmer war zwar relativ geräumig mit einem schönen Ausblick, allerdings war leider der komplette Boden und auch die Betten mit Ameisen bedeckt. Die Fenster waren undicht und verschimmelt, die Toilette defekt und das Personal unfreundlich. Wir können dieses Hotel zu dem Preis - auch auf der Insel- leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Thái độ phục vụ quá tệ, mình đặt qua agoda, đến nơi gặp ông chủ ks mình nói là: anh ơi cho em nhận phòng. ông này chắc vừa rượu chè về nhìn mình gườm gườm, sau khi đưa chìa khoá xong ông ấy bảo: lần sau em phải lịch sự, phải nói là anh ơi em đặt phòng qua agoda, anh kiểm tra phòng giúp em. mình tức quá mới nói: nếu anh ko thích thì trả tiền lại em đi chỗ khác, lão bảo : làm gì có chuyện trả lại tiền Nói chung mọi người nên cân nhắc trc khi đặt phòng ở đây, vị trí lại còn xa trung tâm, đi ra trung tâm còn mất 10k xe ôm nữa, rất bất tiện

Tệ vô cùng, bẩn, nằm ngưá hết cả ngươì, không có thang máy, không có chỗ phơi quần áo , thái độ phục vụ kém , giá đắt cắt cổ , đến nước uống cũng không cho người ta và bắt phải mua. Khách sạn gì chứ , chỉ gọi là nhà nghỉ , xa trung tâm thị trấn. Bị qủa lừa thuê ks này , thảo nào phải trả tiền trước, Tôi không bao giờ tin trang đặt phòng này nữa.
