Beautiful hotel and amazingly friendly staff”
We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at the Catalonia Riviera Maya & I am already thinking about when I can return. We booked on Agoda as a cheep getaway, somewhere we can go for a week and completely chill out, & this was the perfect hotel to do that. We arrived at the hotel & were welcomed by the very friendly staff with a cool cocktail. The receptionist was very friendly and informative, providing us with a brief overview of the hotel layout and services available. The porter took our bags and showed us over to our room and pointed out places we would be using. He showed us up to our room and explained the air con etc. In the mornings we went down to breakfast at around 8.30, people didn’t get up particularly early so it wasn’t busy,& people didn’t seem to put their towels down to save the beds like they sometimes annoyingly do. The pool area was lovely, I have never seen one so clean. At any time there was always at least one member of staff either washing the floor, cleaning the sides of the pool or wiping down the sunbeds. They also regularly checked the pool water and even though they have signs saying there are no lifeguards they could always be seen wandering around the pool area. The barmen were lovely,they would come and refill your drink when they saw you were nearly finished.. Breakfast was the normal hotel buffet food, had plenty of choice, I would struggle to think of anything people might want for breakfast that wasn’t there. I thought lunch was quite good, I’m a vegetarian so often struggle to find food at hotel buffets to eat, but never struggled here. For dinner you could either eat in the buffet or use one of your three a la carte tickets you are issued, these have to be pre booked with reservations that day between 8am and 4pm. The rooms were basic but very comfortable. There was a bath and powerful shower, with a very good hair-dryer. In summary I loved this hope and hope to return in the future.

we came for a 3 night stay. For the price we paid it was a good deal. We upgraded to 'Privilege' and felt it was worth it. The main pool usually was loud with music and guests doing water aerobics and drinking/pool games. The other pool by the bar was crowded with Canadians, drinking and smoking. So the 'Privilege' pool was a welcome, quiet place to relax. The B-Loved restaurant is worth it too. Lovely setting and a great menu. It may just have been a busy time when we were there but, it seemed everyone was up early putting towels and books on beach chairs, even though there are signs saying 'no reserving beach chairs'. Just the way it goes I guess. Our last night there I did notice a shipment of new chairs being offloaded and put out so the Catalonia was addressing the issue. All in all, it was a lovely place. The staff were great, the food was good. Oh, and bummer for us, the tennis courts were being refinished so couldn't play. But, the next guests will have a nice su

Rooms need updating paint chipped rails loose my room has a bad AC licking roof took 2 hours to fixed and clean the poodles at 11pm next morning same problem so they finally gave me another room Food is pretty good nice staff really nice location

DONT GO TO THESE HOTEL ! ”
First thing arrive to the reception and they change my room downgrade it no reason then I call Agoda and they can fix it I had to pay more to get the room that I already pay. The beach is no nice at all there's no space to swim and worst they give you some cards for the towels and when you ask for the towels, there's no towels you have to wait one hour, happened to me and many people in all the days of my stay. Restaurants are not to good and the ones are good they don't tell you, you can't enter every-night you have limited passes. I won't go back to these hotel they way better places for these money !

Seaweed beach”

Great value for mid end resort”
Had a good stay. Had a room in the 130 section, of RM beware the night theatre concert is loud and booms noise in your room. Find another section BLOVED restaurant super slow service, C+ B service and food Great overall staff and energy. Walk out of property to the marina. Will stay here again, good bang for th3 buck short term

Omg everyone DON'T COME HERE. I literally had lots of huge arguments with my company Because of this hotel. First, the facility of this hotel is fucking old. I have changed the room 3 times ( no hot water, no cold air conditioner, lots of ants ) Secondly, you CANNOT make a reservation for dinner every second time I noticed there wasn't full of people but the staff still said all restaurants are full lol so you CANNOT have food that you want most of the time for dinner Lastly, there is seaweed smell all over this hotel. The smell is so bad that i suppress my appetite

El hotel es correcto pero el buffet ha de mejorar para contemplar más opciones saludables y de desayuno continental para los huéspedes que no quieran cebarse. De la habitación desaparecieron unas sandalias de tommy hilfiger y salvo la actuación inicial de la responsable de seguridad, nadie hizo nada.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très serviable et les restaurants à la carte vraiment excellents. La vue sur la mer est magnifique et nous sommes émerveillés de tous les poissons observés sur les coraux juste devant notre plage.

un hôtel ou je ne retournerai pas, la moitié des restaurant fermés aucune personne ne parlant français pas de menu français , un spa ou l eau est très froide. une suite privilège avec baignoire extérieur sur terrasse ou l eau chaude ne fonctionne pas. une queue interminable au restaurant, des américains qui se jette sur la nourriture. tout cela pour dire que je ne retournerai jamais dans cet hotel.

Schrecklich, laut, chaotisch”
Ich fühle mich hier absolut nicht wohl. Dieses Hotel ist etwas für alle, die große, laute Bunker mit viel Animation und primitiven All Inclusive Leistungen mögen. Die á la Card Restaurants sind leider immer nur sonntags für die ganze Woche im Voraus buchbar. Super, wenn man Mitte der Woche anreist. Der Strand ist auch steinig und absolut nicht schön. Ich bin hier zum relaxen hergekommen, das ist leider nicht möglich. Gut möglich, dass ich den Aufenthalt abbreche und woanders hinziehe.

Бронировал данную гостиницу по системе все включено через Agoda в период с 25 декабря по 7декабря 2021 г,получил от Agoda информацию что возможно двойное бронирование проживание 3 дня с 25 по 28 ноября в номере view по системе ВСЕ включено и с 28 по 7 декабря в улучшенном номере ВСЕ включено,по факту оплаты второго бронирования в гостинице заявили ,что у Вас забронирован номер не по системе все включено .(ограничения касаются питания в ресторанах)предъявление ваучера от Agoda результатов не дало.И вишенка на торте полотенца в номере отсутствовали,после 3x обращений на ресепшн их принесли через 1,3 часа.P.S Прошу сотрудников компании Agoda разобраться и дать ответ почему так произошло.

Vi bodde 3v i Dec-14 på Catalonia, det var andra gången och vi blev inte besvikna denna gången heller. Kanonfin anläggning med personal som är fruktansvärt serviceminded. INGENTING är något problem utan allt löser dom. Hoppas att jag får möjligheten att komma tillbaks nångång!
