Wonderful hotel”
I highly recommend staying at CatCat Garden hotel. The family who runs the hotel are so kind and accommodating. We had two meals in their hotel and they were the best we've had since being in Vietnam. The room has incredible views and is so close to CatCat village, within walking distance. It's not far from Sapa town too. Great location to be away from the hustle and bustle and all the construction work going on in Sapa.

Exceeded all expectations!”
We (three 20-something females living in Hanoi) had a fantastic time at Cat Cat Garden hotel. The location was perfect for us - a 10/15 min walk from everything in Sapa centre but far enough away from all the construction noise and with stunning views across the valley. The couple who run this hotel are so sweet and friendly and went out of their way to help us, without ever being pushy (their son is adorable too!). We arrived from a night train at 8am and even though check in was supposed to be at 1pm, they still let us get into a room almost straight away (after a much needed breakfast). The food portions are generous and there is a good variety of options, although the best thing about breakfast is probably the stunning view. The beds were huge, clean and incredibly comfy and the room was well equipped. We also had a shared lounge area with cosy sofas and a great viewpoint - perfect for reading and hanging out after long walks. The garden is beautiful too. We couldn't believe that they had only been open a few months - everything felt very organised, established and beautiful. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will certainly be back again in the future!

Wonderful”
We loved our stay at Cat Cat Garden! The owners are lovely and very helpful with everything we needed. Simply email prior to getting off the train in Lao Cai so that they can arrange transfer. We didn't and got royally 'ripped off', paying 200000 Dong each!! The owners immediately arranged cheaply hired scooters for us on the first day which were delivered to us at the hotel. The staff were also terrific and very kind. Breakfasts were lovely, the view from our room was simply breathtaking, and the location was perfect. Being a little out of the town, it was quite and peaceful and when the fog drifted across the mountains, it really was like being in the clouds. The rooms were clean and spacious, water hot, wifi strong and the gardens filled with flowers and beautiful butterflies. We have travelled for 6 weeks across south east Asia and this was by far our most favourite guesthouse. Simply perfect! Thank you to the owners, you made our stay in Sapa perfect.10 stars from us!

Wunderfull stay!”
We stayed at Cat Cat Garden in the Family room. I made a mistake when booking the room, but they were very flexible in changing it. We really loved the little restaurant. Food was very good and they even taught me how to cook my favorite dish from the menu (eggplant & Tofu in Clay pot). Thanks again, I already tried it at home! What I like most about the location is, that it is outside Sapa but still close enough to walk to the town easily. Hiking in Cat Cat village is around the corner as well. I will recommend Cat Cat Garden to everyone who will go to Sapa.

Wet n Freezing but enjoyable Sapa holidays”
Nice cosy hotel with great views of the Mountain scenaries but 20 mins.walk to town centre. Taxis are readily available. Good selections of noodles, pancakes and Sandwiches.for breakfast. Excellent.customer services by hotel keepers. Awesome hotpot of beef n other selection. Superior tomato n pineapple soup base. Must try. Come FEB - March to enjoy plum trees blooming around the hotel. CatCAT Village and Fansipan are.nearby and easily.reach by.Taxi. Highly recommended. Wary of the tanked hot water bath supply which can last for.a good bath. View the size of the hot water tank in the toilet. No worry enough to have a good warm bath. Highly recommended away from Sapa city hotel constructions manaic.

We enjoyed our stay at Cat Cat Garden”
Helena was very helpful and friendly. It is located between Sapa town and Catcat village, which made it a peaceful place to stay with a stunning view. Unfortunately, we stayed over New Years and the electricity was cut off intermittently throughout our stay. This was not the fault of the staff, but it did make taking hot showers and finding our way home at night in the dark quite difficult.

Mountain Paradise”
We have been in Asia for around 5 months and without a doubt, Cat Cat Garden Hotel is the best place we have stayed at so far. The location of this hotel is just perfect. Around 5-10mins walk to the main town, far enough out to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Sa Pa, but close enough to walk in to town if you need to. As the name suggests the hotel is very close to Cat Cat village; a 5min walk and you will be at the entrance. Motorbikes can be hired for 100k dong of course. The rooms are delightful. They have everything you need to have a relaxing stay, the bed inparticular was very clean and comfortable. They also have extra large windows all along one side of the room that offer the most stunning panoramic views of Fansipan Mountain and the rice paddies of Muong Hoa valley. Would add one day to your itineraries to allow for mountain staring! The owners of the hotel also run a restaurant next door. This is where breakfast lunch and dinner should be eaten. Honestly, for the value you won't find better in Sa Pa; the chef is very talented. Breakfast here, again, is the best we have had in Asia. Fine choice of eggs, pancakes, rice and noodles. Drinks include coffees, teas and various fresh juices. But here's the clever bit; they encourage you to order 2 foods, 2 drinks each. Our stomachs would rumble at night thinking about those breakfasts. The couple that run Cat Cat Garden hotel are what make it really special though. Their English is very good. They are always kind and curteous and we would enjoy talking to them sometimes for hours in the evening after diner. They offered useful and informative advice about exploring Sa Pa, never being pushy about trips and tours, helped us to do things solo as we prefer. The owner, Nam, picked us up and dropped us off from the bus without question. If you book through Agoda make sure to send them an email before arriving as it is not automated as booking.com, and they will be happy to collect you by car. They even gave us a

Perfect place to stay ”
We have been staying there for 2 day 1 night. Now, in Sapa town is very dusty due to lot of constructions, Luckily we chose Cat Cat Garden where is far from town only 5 mins by taxi and we can enjoy Fansipan mountain scene from our hotel room. The room is clean. Heater is provided. All staffs are great especially the owner and his wife. They have service mind and also willing to provide useful information. All is perfect here. It was very worth for money. I definitely recommend

The staff and the owner of the hotel are such lovely and helpful people! They always greet you with a smile and are more than willing to help you with anything you need, tours, directions or even just booking a cab. The room is simple but spacious. The hotel is a short 10-15 minutes walk to Sapa City Centre, very convenient! Definitely a good value for your money!! I highly recommend this lovely place!!

Nice place to stay, esp for foreigners”
Overall, the hotel is nice. Room was kept new, clean and well equipted with basic facilities, the cable TV would be useless cuz you rather enjoy the great mountainous view from the room window/balcony than spend the day watching TV. Outside our room, they placed chairs and table so we could sit and relax. They also have a small restaurant where you can freely sit and do your things. Breakfast was okay with limited choices, however, the portion was just perfect if you plan to go for a trekking. The hotel is around 15 min far from the city center, but be aware if you hang out at night as the way back to the hotel at night will be completely dark and scary! I was surprise at the rate of staff friendliness. Except for the lady-owner, who was kind and friendly, she even let us checkout late (as there was no new guest), the others were not impressive, even the man-owner. I had a feeling that the staffs would be more warmly welcome us if we were foreigners. Here are some reminds you may find useful: - The hotel offers pickups if you travel by trains with a fee of 50,000vnd each. When we arrived in Lao Cai, we could not find anyone holding signs of our names or the hotel's name, we had to call and also asked people around to find the bus. Turned out the bus picking you up is not owned by the hotel but from a third party. You can totally buy a seat at the train station for that kind of bus with the same price. And also you can take the public bus (parks right in front of the station gate) with 28 to 30,000 vnd. - Remember to check for the conditions of the motorbike if you intend to rent one. We rent one and got into an accident because the motorbike initially had a flat tire and the bumpy road. Of course, we paid for the repairing charge but the situation was not pretty because of the attitude from the young staff working there. That man tried to take advantage of us to replace unnecessary parts of the motorbike. That pretty much affected our experience in Catcat garden

GREAT ROOM VIEW!”
The location is on the outskirts of the city, which is great if since the place is more peaceful and has a great view of the Fansipan mountain range. Its around 10 minute walk down/up-hill but you can grab a taxi and the charge is around 20,00.00 to 25,000.00 VND to get to/from the town center. Breakfast selection is great and the owner (Elena) takes good care of their guest. I'll come back to this place if ever I visit Sapa again.

Great view!”
Catcat Garden Hotel is midway between Sapa town and Catcat village - both within walking distance. It was the perfect place to wind down and enjoy the views that Sapa has to offer. Elena was very helpful in accommodating us. We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Great place to stay in Sapa”
Slightly off the main Sapa center and market but within walking distance - ideal for travelers who prefer quiet places. The hotel staff is very cordial and helpful, and the hotel manager also runs trekking tours with the help of Hmong women who are excellent guides and fluent English-speakers

Excellent hotel”
The hotel is located at very scenic place just above the rice terrace and catcat village. It provides all basic amenities however the best thing I found here was the personal attention by the staff to guide you and make the stay comfortable at sapa.

Great spot”
Very comfortable, affordable B & B feel to this 6 room hotel. The owners are wonderful and helpful with arranging tours. We toured Cat Cat village on our own which is a few minutes walk down the hill and had an arranged day trek to Ta Phin (10 km hike) village the next day. This is a quiet location at night that is a short 10 minute hike to Sapa town (be aware it is a steep uphill to town) or a $2 taxi ride. Bring your flashlight or headlamp if you plan to walk to town at night. The breakfast is wonderful; I had a ham and cheese omelette, banana chocolate crepe, orange juice and a Vietnamese coffee each morning.

Best Place to Stay in Sapa!”
I came to Sapa to enjoy the natural beauty. Fortunately, I checked into the right hotel to maximize my stay there. I had a view of the mountains from my comfortable bed, a panoramic view from my balcony outside my room, and there were views from the dining room. Beautiful! Besides the views, the staff is wonderful - they will attend to every need immediately. The food was so good that I didn't even bother to go any place else. I promise you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The view is fantastic. I loved waking up every morning seeing beautiful landscape of Phanxipan, rice field and Cat Cat village right in front of my eyes. Rooms are well kept, clean, with wide windows. Staffs are really helpful young people, genuinely helping us with everything and ensure our stay again is comfortable. I would stay here again if I come back to Sapa.

Lovely hotel and serene location”
Love the quietness and accessibility of the hotel which was within minutes from the busy Sapa town. Room was super spacious with 2 comfy queen size beds. Breakfast were yummy and generous in portion. Staffs were friendly and helpful in every way. *Most memorable was the starry skies where you could view from the balcony. Thank you for the awesome stay.
