Absolutely LOVED our stay at Caves Resort! As backpackers we were looking for something cheap and cheerful in Camiguin and wanted to be well located! Caves offer a backpacker room (twin room) for sooo cheap in comparison to other hostels!! The sunsets are AMAZING! Right outside our door as well! All the staff are super friendly and the place is kept so clean and tidy! So nice to have a clean bathroom!

We are a groupd of two and we rented the backpackers room. We loved the room from the moment we saw it, and thought it was better than what we had in the city even if its like a nipa hut house. We love it! I loved the sound of the ocean in the background, and it made me sleep well. The foods are great, and they can be for sharing.

the place is quiet, it's by the beach and located near good places to eat at and chill. they cleaned the room everyday, security personnel watches over by the entrance and parking area. friendly staff too.

We stay in backpacker room for 3 nights,definitely come back there next time visit. Room clean and just by the sea , cool at night no fan or air con needed. There is mosquito net, so no worry about mosquitoes. Shared bath is clean, with toilet paper free of use, not like other people said dirty. But no hot water, you should back catch water in bucket for shower. It’s quiet, really quiet, looks like really few guest stay there, don’t know why. Food on menu is expensive, and no drink water is provided, have to bring bottle water yourself. For the price I don’t think you find better one, worth it!!

Read the reviews after booking this place and started to really worry about rats in the room, no private bathroom, paper thin walls, etc. But when we arrived, the whole area is actually quite nice and the rooms we got each had a bathroom ensuite. The room itself is quite basic and we got loads of bugs and had to kill a few mosquitoes before bed. Otherwise, it was pretty decent. Breakfast was so-so but the staff were all kind to us. :)

Staff are nice and welcoming Room is clean There was no electricity from midnight up until 5am Left the place at 6 then returned at 9 and there was no electricity again I would suggest you book a room the has an AC Fan room is really hot and has a separate bathroom They offer food Location was near the beach You can have a nice view of the sunset Noisy neighbors though

The location is really nice. We booked the Backpacker's and accommodated at Room 1, beach front. We love the native room, except that the bath and toilet are common which is inconvenient if you have toddlers who go to the toilet often during nighttime. The sound of the waves and the see breeze lulled us to sleep. We opened the windows and turned off the fan. The busy fishermen at dawn are so refreshing and lovely to see. The sunrise and sunset views are truly amazing. There is one thing that left a negative impression, the staff at the reception. She was not accommodating as expected of someone at the reception. She did not smile. She seemed irritated with children. The room attendant was friendly, though. All in all, Caves is highly recommended. Value for money.

Rooms shown as unavailable on booking sites but in reality they had vacant rooms. Walk in rate is more expensive than on Agoda. Cheaper accommodation and food is available on the island (e.g. Beach House offers single dorm beds). Attached dive shop is good.
