we stayed in this structure for 10 nights, during the golden week. While the room was quite good, it wasn't very clean. We often found some little insects in the bathroom or in the walls. Beyond that, there was the cleaning service every day. Just 2 remarks: 1. outsite it was very very noisy, especially in the early morning. 2. no one could speak english, so be patient with google translate if you need to ask something and if you don't speak a word of chinese.

This was my third time staying at this hotel. The price is unbeatable for someone who's just looking for a cheap, clean, and comfortable hotel to spend a few nights in. This place is walking distance of the Silk Market and Yonganli train station. It comes with free internet service, which was quite fast. Unlike most hotels, the room doesn't come with refrigerator. However, to compensate that, it does come with free water. The AC works, the bed is decent, and they just renovated their elevator, so its a lot more modern. Try the resteraunt next door, if your up for some good spicy chinese food. Very inexpensive, and they give you a healthy serving.

When I get the airport of Beijing, I supposed I can find the apartment easily. However,a taxi driver didn't catch well where it was. It was just taxi driver's problem, I guess. You have to say or show to taxi driver "北京市朝阳区百子湾路(Ho-woo-ssi-en-ttai-chun)".A total cost of taxi approximated RMB 100 between international airport terminal 3 and apartment. It included a toll.(day time: about 30 mins, late night time: about 15mins) Location for getting many famouse arias was wonderful such as Wangfujing area, CBD area, and many hot spot areas. This apartment doesn't include clean room service if you stay under 7days. They have a big towel for guest while you stay under 7days. You can buy some fruit and beverages at small market which locations on 1st floor of the number 13 apartment. 7 eleven(convenient store) was acrose from the number 13 apartment. Whenever I catch taxi, it was pretty hard.:( Hope a good trip~ 공항에서 택시기사분에게 주소를 보여줘도 찾는게 쉽지안은 경우였습니다. 제 생각엔 택시기사분이 워낙 영어소통도 안되고 주소를 찾아가는것과 전화를 거는 방법 또한 잘 알지 못하였던 것 같으나...글쎄요...어찌하였든, 北京市朝阳区百子湾路 이 주소를 보여주시거나 혹은 "허우시엔따이천"이라고 말씁하시면 어지간해선 다 찾아간다라는 경험을 했습니다. 그리고 제 경우엔 이곳에 나와 있는 16호가 아닌 13호가 제가 머물렀던 아파트입니다. 혹시 모르니 담당했던 매니저 Mr.Mark의 연락처를 올려둡니다. 2011년 4월 기준이니 이후에 이분의 퇴사로 인한 부재는 미리 확인하시기 바랍니다. Mobile:+86-13641009988 E-mail:mjsheng168@163.com 이였습니다. 공항에서 아파트까지 통행료 10위안을 포함 약 100위안정도가 나왔네요 시간은 야간에 15분정도, 아침 &낮 &저녁시간엔(저희가 나눠서 도착했던지라 시간 분할이^^)30분정도 예상하시면 됩니다. 가격을 떠나서 꽤나 깔끔했고 위치도 상당히 괜찮았습니다. 주방에 가스레인지는 라이터가 필요하니 요리를 원하시면 미리 체크해두시구요. 침대(제 경우엔 더블이였습니다)도 상태가 좋았습니다. 7일이상의 장기임대가 아닌경우 여분 타월도 청소도 없으니 7일이내인 경우 한개의 큰 타월사용과 청소는 각자하셔야합니다. 저는 쪼리를 한개 가지고 있어서 욕실부터 거실까지 잘 사용했답니다. 택시를 잡는 건 조금 힘이 들 수 있습니다. 워낙이 이용객이 많아서인지 빈 택시를 잡을려면 현지인들처럼 과감해져야 하겠더군요. ^^;; 아! 그리고 저는 만리장성을 가는데 현지 여행사투어를 이용했습니다. 언어를 못 알아듣는것과 중간에 세우는 기념품가게를 제외하곤 가격도 저렴하고 꽤 괜찮았습니다. Good trip!

probably the best budget hotel i have came across in the area. it's right in cbd, very easy to get to everywhere. good access to the massage place, convenient store next door. free wifi internet, clean bedsheets, hot water bath. rooms are small but good enough. i'd highly recommend this if all you need is just a clean bed and a good shower. it's comparable price to those chinese run budget hotel chain, so i'd much rather stay in this than to risk. it's actually better than many b&b in europe. safe choice. it's a few min walk from the closest metro station, very doable when the weather is fine, but feels very far during the winter under the snow.

The hotel is very conveniently located - 3-min walk to Yonganli metro station - with lots of dining options nearby, both cheap and upscale. The lobby is stylish though some facilities in the room could use some upgrade. But highly recommended for business travelers who need to be close to the CBD area. Even for leisure travelers its proximity to the Xiushui market and other sites also makes this an attractive option!

Very hard to find, the complex is easy to find but the building the apartment is ins't labelled in the same way as in the addres on Agoda. Also the complex is huge and you just have walk around until you find the right building. This is just a cheap apartment in a very dirty building. It has a washing machine and kitchen but there are no kitchen utensils so it can't really be used. Agoda charged an extra 15% which I didn't know about until I had paid, which I think is a bit of a con.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Jianguo Hotel, located only a few hundred meters from the popular silk market and its many reastaurants near by, this is is a choice hotel for a fuss free visit to the CBD and World Trade Center of Beijing. Staff were excellent, when i arrived i was pleasantly surprised to find out that i had been upgradedinto a superior room because the standard room was not available, all done with a smile. Despite the cold outside ,,the rooms were comfortably heated, pleasant and clean and when i asked for a change of beddings there was no problems. The little rose in the afternoon on the bed wa also a pleasant touch. At any time a taxi ride to most locations is a mere 20 odd RMB to the many sights around the city. In all a pleasant stay and i will make it a point to return book on my next visit to Beijing,

I arrived from the UK and the journey from Beijing Airport was reasonable. The hotel is new, modern and has a decent area with different wings set around a pretty water and flower feature and courtyard. I was given a room upgrage to the Executive Wing where I was able to have free breakfast and evening snacks which added value to the price. Most certainly I would stay there again. The bed was very comfortable, room clean and internet fine. Unlike many Beijing 'skyscraper' hotels it is fairly low rise which I much prefer (asking to be moved from the 19th floor at a later hotel).

Centrally located in CBD. Close to several big malls and loads of eateries. 10 mins walk to 2 train stations -line 6 and 10. Room is a bit run down and needs upgrading, especially toilet (1 missing wall tile and hole on the roof). Front desk staff is polite and prompt. Cleaning lady is polite but not very thorough. Forgot to replenish toilet rolls and coffee/tea a few times. Limited local TV channels, no international channels. Overall, still a pleasant stay.

The first thing is this is a private condominium where that is being rented out on daily basis. The "check-in" is in someone's home - don't be surprised that to see the owner or his family cooking or watching tv while you check in. Therefore in terms of service and amenities its at best at 3-star hotel level. That said, the location, condo fittings and price are an excellent, value for money combination. Great privacy for the discreet couples, may not be so great for business travellers who need services.

This hotel is an excellent value. The rooms are very spacious and include a kitchenette. The staff are friendly and the location is excellent. It is on a side road in the Chaoyang business area, so taxis usually don't know where it is. It doesn't have some upper end hotel amenities and the breakfast is weak. Otherwise, it is great value. I recommend it and will use it again.

Although I only have very good things to say about the hotel, their friendliness and the sorroundings which were beautiful, I have to conclude with the fact that without a private car and about to do business in other parts of Beijing, it was quite hopeless. In best cases I waited for 20 min. to get a taxi, in worse I had to walf for 1 hour until I got one. But all in all a good stay.

Fantastic! really enjoyed the stay in this fabulous hotel! free wifi & staff polite n helpful! room clean & comfortable to stay on! location good in CBD and near MRT station & walking distance to shopping malls, exhibition hall & antiques market..also easy acess to Tian anmen, wang fu jing street, silk market b=n sanlitun bar street.. restaurant got international & italian cuisines n also got beiking duck in chinese restaurant! super relax in fitness room after aday hardwork in beijing especially the sauna room!

Good staff are par for the course at good hotels - so nothing to add there. Most importantly is the overall vibe and feeling of the of the hotel: Its cool and luxurious without falling into the trap of trying to hard that so many other hotels have. Its understated, "Stealth Wealth" kind of a hotel. For CBD hotels, this is the best. Park Hyatt is nice - but you pay top dollar; The Kerry Hotel is now my default location when in Beijing, period.

this hotel cured me of a thirteen hour flight. language was difficult. with that said china is a great time. china world hotel will compete with any five star hotel. staff and services were second to none. food was great. we used room service, restaurants, spa, pool and car services. this hotel offered everything as agoda advertised. agoda made booking in china very easy. i am going to book another hotel with agoda immediately after this review.

Trendy, modern CBD hotel just recently opened. I was a little nervous because there were so few reviews so far but I need not have worried. Reception staff were professional and courteous and check in smooth. My room was awesome. Lots of little touches made it special. Fantastic comfy bed, flat screen TV, fruit bowl, amazing view over the CBD. Bathroom was lovely and I appreciated the little rubber ducks for the bath :-) As a gym junkie, one big reason to book here was the facilities. The gym was the best hotel gym I have ever seen. It's a working gym open for membership, so has everything you would expect from a big brand name- spin studio, boxing area, masses of top notch equipment. My only complaint is that I could only book for one night as it was full, thus could not make full use of all the facilities or the pool :-( I know exactly where I will be staying on my next trip to Beijing.

We have stayed at a number of hotels in Beijing, and this was one of our favorites. Not amazing on the outside, but stunning inside. Very friendly, professional staff. Our room was comfortable with a great bed! We took an afternoon swim in the pool, and would have used the best equipped hotel gym we have ever seen if we had our stuff with us. We had room service for dinner, and the food was tasty and prompt. The breakfast buffet was fully equipped with everything we could have wanted. The St. Regis is fantastic!

This is our second time staying at this service apartment. The reason I chose this place is the service and well maintained units . The 3 bedroom is very spacious with individual tv in every bedroom so there is no fighting among everyone. The convenience of the ATM and restaurant is a good feature to have as well. We love the location because of it being away from CBD and hence less noise n congestion even though it's only a 10min ride to the city Center. Overall , we will come again the next time to the same place since travelling alone with the two kids made me feel secure in a professionally maintained establishment like the Sandlewood .

i stayed at radegast hotel for only one night, but it was a very pleasant night. the service was attentive and the staff were highly responsive to my requests. i don't speak a word of mandarin, but the staff were all proficient speakers of english. the room was very spacious: newly furnished, enormous bed, and all the usual inclusions you'd expect at a 5-star hotel. free wifi was available too. the central cbd location would probably benefit workers more so than tourists. i had stayed at another hotel (a cheaper one) that was closer to the main tourist attractions where it was more convenient to stay for such purposes. but it was still easy to travel around beijing from radegast. you definitely get your money's value when you stay at radegast as the room rates were significantly cheaper than other 5-star hotels in beijing.
