More of a homestay/guesthouse. Very nice neighborhood, but need to take the #8 Ankort bus to and from as it is a few miles from the botanical gardens and center of town. Staff was very nice and makes a hot breakfast for you in the morning.

Perfect hostel”
If you are looking for a cheap budget but a comfortable, peaceful, clean hostel, you are in the right place. I was super shocked when I started checking the place—the rooms, bathrooms, lobby. My first thought is that it will be like some of the cheap hostels I’ve been which the showers dont work well, dirty bathroom, uncomfortable bed, but no. Cendana Mulia is far from what I expected. The bed? So soft and comfortable and relaxing. The bethroom is very very very clean. They showers are all working very well. And they even have a kitchen for the guests with free cooking oil, tea, cold and hot water, spoons, bowls, plates, pan, cups. And the sink is always super clean. The whole area is very well managed by the lady that runs the hostel. She really makes sure that the hostel is always in order, clean and tidy. After a guest checks out, the staff cleans the bed right away. The place is so quiet and peaceful. They also have a locker in the room with a cctv to keep the important things safe and to assure that no stealing will ever happen. Plus they have a very detailed “things to do near the hotel” and how to get to those places. This is by far, the cleanest hostel I have ever been which is also very very cheap. Most of the hostels and even HOTELS dont offer this kind of service that they give. I even think that it is too cheap for everything you will have during your stay. But, I think too that the lady is really just that generous and kind to offer a very low price for an outstanding hostel she runs. I could give 100 starts for this hostel. And will definitely going back next year with my boyfriend. And also.... they have a strong wifi both up and downstairs so you wont ever lose wifi signal :) Thank you very much for making my stay in bogor such a great vacation, Cendana Mulia Hostel!!! ♥️

The best welcome I could have wished for in a new country ”
Cedana mulia is the first hostel that actually really made me want to write a review. The lady who runs the place puts a lot of effort in making her guests have the best time in Bogor. She wrote a detailed book of al the places you can visit, what is will cost you and how to get there. I arrived in the middle of the night so I woke up really late the next morning and they still made me breakfast. The beds have curtains for privacy, the beds are comfortable and the place is clean. Would definitely stay again at this hostel!

I enjoyed my four-day stay at Cendana Mulia hostel very much. The hostel has a very friendly staff, clean facilities with warm shower and great breakfast. The location is very quit with city centre and the botanic garden being easily acessible by bus. This hostel is definitely a great recommendation for everyone!

Basic and good”
Pros- very clean and quiet. AC in my room worked Good. Not sure if all rooms have AC Cons- little bit out of the way of the main parts of Bogor but just a quick cheap Grab ride away. Bed isn't very comfy. Wifi is good not great.

Very clean hostel”
The hostel was very clean and the staff was friendly. You can also book a very nice vulcano and waterfall tour with this hostel. The only downside is that we didn't get to meet other backpackers in this hostel.

A real pleasure ! ”
A very nice hotel, very comfy beds ! Very clean and the staff is amazing, so kind and they try their best to help you to organize your journey. It felt so good to be back there at the end of our tiring day. A bit far from the center but a bus will take you there for 3500 rp and it is very quiet.

Awesome place with super friendly staff. Really clean rooms, kitchen access, lockers, wifi, good breakfast (fried rice with chicken) at the time you need (we had breakfast at 5 am once). A bit outside the city but get a Grab or a public mini bus 1 minute away :)

This place is a bit hard to find. The room is ok, not very special but good price/quality and with good breakfast in the morning and away from the main road, so pretty quiet. Showers were ok, but not really clean.

It's an ordinary hostel where you can meet up and chat a lot of younger travellers. But for a family that wants quiet it's a bit noisy late in the night, there don't have noise cancelling or anything. And sometimes the shower doesn't have water

A little bit outside of the center but you can take one of the angkorts on the street which will take you directly to the botanical garden. even if you come via train station you only have to change one time. So it's quiet easy. Nice people and they try to help you with everything.
