This hotel was exceptional. From the modern decor to the sweet friendly smiles of the staff, we couldn’t have asked for more. We loved how it was located on the beach. We literally walked from our rooms to our lounge chairs every morning after breakfast or after working out. Their breakfast had good options. We felt that it was on the healthier side. There were options for vegetarians as well as for meat lovers. There was an egg station and a Thai soup station. There was even a special cappuccino/espresso station. Their gym was small but mighty as it had all the necessary equipment needed including treadmill, stationary bike, weights/benches,TRX, kettlebells, cables, and a few other typical gym equipment. The plus side was that no one really worked out while we were there so we had the gym to ourselves. We loved the access from the backside of the hotel to the beach walkways of Ao Nang. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. The staff always had a smile for everyone passing by. The only complaint we have is that the laundry was a bit expensive. One recommendation would be for the hotel to provide self laundry facilities for its guests vs having laundry sent out. Other than that, we loved our stay. We were sad to move on to our next hotel in Phuket as it could not compare to Centara Ao Nang.

Beautiful hotel on beach”
This hotel is brand new and right on the beach. It’s very clean and the staff is attentive. The breakfast is excellent - lots of choices including omelets and Thai dishes, fresh fruit. Not sure why the pools close at 7 pm - it would be nice to be able to swim in the evening. Only negative was that I took the laundry bag to put some things in and they wanted to charge me 150 Baht! ($5) - I stayed at a cheaper place and they provided a tote made of the same cheap material for free. Not sure why a place of this caliber would be so petty! (There was no note in room saying there would be a charge for the bag - it’s the type of bag stores that don’t use plastic give for free).

Love everything here”
First of all, the location, beachfront, 10 out of 10. You can walk to the nightlife, aka the heart of Ao Nang, so easily along the beach. The facility is great, well-maintained and clean. What I love most, though, are the staff and breakfast selection. Everybody is so helpful, forthcoming and friendly. Breakfast is great too! From cereal if you want to do a continental breakfast to full Thai breakfast with rice and noodles. Will definitely be back next time!

Just Amazing!”
Our stay at Centara Aonang was just amazing. We do not unterstand why this is just a 4 Star and not a 5 Star hotel. The hotel has not just a welcome Drink and a luggage Service, it has also a pillow menu and in-room Fitness accesoires (like a gymball). The rooms are large and clean and we had a nice view to the Pool and the big Rocks. The Pool is huge and totally relaxed. This is the only hotel in the area with direct beach access and to sit on those cosy chairs or sunbeds during the sunset is amazing. The breakfast buffet is various and huge. Every "taste" can find something: There is as well Thai breakfast as International breakfast. The Cocktails at the bar have normal prices for a hotel and in the afternoon you have a happy hour. The staff is totally friendly and help regarding every question. They also offer a sports program. Three (really) little things which could be improved: - the daily cleaning in the rooms could be better - the beds looked really carelessly and not nice. They didnt change used glasses and cupboards. - They should try to get the flies out of the buffet room. - We could not find any sockets in the bathroom (e.g. for hair drying or shaving) Besides this small possiblee improvements we had an amazing stay and would definetely come back again.

Asside from the 100bhat diet coke at the pool bar, this place is spotless. Staff are super friendly, all the areas are always clean, good for all people all ages, breakfast is superb, location good and during corona virus outbreak, they are taking peoples temp at every entrance to help combat it; so well done.

Brand new beachfront property with amazing facilities ”
From moment of checkin so pleased I booked here of course it’s quiet due to COVID but apart from the gym all the facilities are available. Property is on beachfront so great ocean outlook while having breakfast, by the pool and by the bar. I also got upgraded so decided to extend my stay by a further week. The staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. Cant wait to book my next stay here.

Fabulous and luxurious ”
We had a really wonderful week here enjoying the beautiful pools, incredible buffet breakfasts and friendly staff. Our room is a king and bunk which worked really well with a 13 and 11 year old. We got private pool access which has been fantastic. Good e-game options for older kids. Lovely beach bar and loungers. Only comment would be that people should be allowed to swim after 7pm,

Almost everything Is good except 1. the booking information was not clear and not fair. Because”
I booked 2 rooms for 2 persons each. My friend booked 1 room for 3 persons. We found that inside the room are the same and no extra bed while the price of 1 room w 3 persons is cheaper than 2 rooms only 233 THB . The staff said NO EXTRA BED in hotel and the diff is the 3 persons room booking can see the swimming pool. Is that fair for double price ? If hotel has no extra bed, should not around the customer to book 3 persons in 1 room. We have to fight to change to get 2 rooms bec we can’ sleep w 185, 180 and 170 cm. person in 2 beds and we paid for 3. We don’t mind for the swimming pool view. 2. All room are checked out before checked out date. That’s make us loss money in Pao Tung. The hotel didn’t show responsible much. For the loss, hotel only offer only upgrade room next time. We have to waste time the whole day to fight for some back again. (Not the whole amount we loss) ☹️☹️😩

The hotel is located at Aonang beach, which you can walk along the beach to the restaurants near by. there are the slides for kids at the pool. I book the standard room , it cost 1,300 THB by upgrading to the pool access room.
