Loved my stay here”
I stayed here for 2 nights, I came at 4.30am the first night and the check-in was quick and smooth. The staff there is so nice and helpful and try to give you the best time. Unfortunately, I got sick on the way there, so the first day I stayed in bed. I talked with the staff and they recommended me a tour where there are nearly no activities. I told them that I was sick and that I wasn't sure if I would be fit enough the next day. They were so kind and understanding, they told me as I told them beforehand, that in case I was still not better, I would be able to cancel the next morning before the tour. Fortunately, I was feeling a bit better the second day and could go on the tour, but it was so nice that they gave me the possibility of canceling in case I was still feeling bad. They also helped me with booking a bus to Hué which was also quick and easy. They also made sure that I was comfortable on the bus. It's also one of the cleanest hostels I've been, the room was huge and the shower was great. Never had such a hot shower in Vietnam as in that hostel! All in all, even due to my sickness, I had a great stay, this hostel and its people are amazing!

Exceptional”
This is the best hostel I have ever been to. It’s new and super clean. Rooms are cleaned daily, sheets are super white and soft. There are buffet breakfasts where you can order omelette or scrambled eggs. Pancakes are also amazing and coffee is good. In the evening there is happy hour with free beer which is a great opportunity to meet new people. The stuff is nice and helpful. The only thing I could complain about is the motorbike rental company they cooperate with. They give you motorbikes with such little amount of gasoline you can barely make it to the station. I put 1,5 litter gas inside and the fuel indicator was still red. That means you can’t possibly give it back with the same amount of fuel cause you would be afraid to ride the bike like that.

The place to stay in Phong Nha!”
We stayed in a private room in this hostel. Staff was welcoming and helpful in arranging tours. The breakfast was good and included eggs and soup as well as pancakes and bread with jam. Other restaurant food looked good and many people ate there. There is free beer from 7pm to 8pm followed by a free shot! There is a pool in the back and table soccer and pool table in the lobby. There are a few couches to relax on and a good amount of other places to sit. The location is close to everything in town.

Impressed by the helpful staff”
Lost my wallet just before I set off to Hanoi. It was supposed to be terrible but luckily the staff in Central Backpackers Hostel did the follow up and found it few days later by contacting the caves in Phong Nha. They then sent it to Hanoi immediately without any extra charges. Also, of course, nothing inside the wallet was missed. So impressed by their kindness and warm hearted!!! / Besides, this place is perfect for backpackers with leisurely atmosphere, amazing facility(clean and tidy), brilliant travelling information(e.g bus tickets/local tour) and no language barrier(the staff here speaks fluent english). So far as I observed, it is definitely the best choice in Phong Nha.

Most beautiful scenery from hostel room and hostel garden with a pool surrounded by amazing mountain rock formations and lush green surroundings. Never have I seen such a pretty hostel location out of anywhere ive been in Asia! Comfortable beds, amazing staff, generous happy hour and free beer in the evening

One of the best hostels I have stay in Vietnam ! Bedroom and bathroom was very clean. Nothing to do with the central backpackers of Hanoi ... This one is really above !! The staff is great, the chill zone is cool to meet people. Definetely the best hostel in Phang Nha

We had 2 nights here. Really good breakfast and nice bunk beds as private rooms. The woman at the reception speak really good English and where very helpful. If you arrive with a sleeper bus they sometimes offer you to sleep in your room already, this is not a free option. Keep that in mind. But it is nice that it is an option if you had a terrible night in the bus. The party host was a bit much though. He tried to scare us that it is not safe driving a motorbike in Vietnam. He kept on going about it. Furthermore it was a nice stay.

Staff are really nice and helpful. There’s a small bar and a pool that guests enjoy them. Services are so good with that price. As a Vietnamese, I could say it was one of the best experiences with a hotel/hostel I ever had in Vietnam. Definitely will be back

Pros -location great, most buses stop right at their door -breakfast is included -menu is comprehensive -security is present, if u come back late they check to make sure ure actually staying here and not just someone walking in off the street Cons -our room was not cleaned from the previous tenants and it was difficult to work with front desk to resolve this but eventually they really helped us -we had a voucher to save money on our reservation which we followed the directions to exactly as given and when we arrived at Phong nha they said we did the exact opposite. So better communication between Hanoi and Phong nha central backpackers would be nice. -pool was nice but the water was warmer than the air. -their "bar crawl" is embarassing

Amazing”
One of the best places i've stay in Vietnam. Not the cheapest but it worth every cent. The rooms are really good, comfy beds, lockers with electronic cards, courtains, light and private lockers in the bed. Bathroom really nice and all the hostel is really clean. Pool area really cool, everyday free beers and rum and coke. Sundays free bbc also with veggie options too. They offer tours for the National Park and you can book any bus for them but is gonna be more expensive (i bought mine 60.000 dongs cheaper in one of the office in the st). You can leave your bag and use all the facilities after C.O.
