The most expensive and also horrible accomodation ”
The most expensive and also horrible accomodation I have tried in India during my travelling. The only advantage of this "hotel" is the location. The service and room appearance are very bad. for double non A/C room per night: no shower (only a tap), dirty and torn sheets, rats occurring, staff not proactive.
A poor quality place. Our next hotel is much bette”
The reception agreed to our request for checkout to noon but that morning, 15mins before 10am, there was a loud banging at the door to tell us to clear out by 10am. For the same rate, our next hotel at New Delhi was much, much better.
Great Location; Good Value; Wifi”
pretty standard clean enough small room; wifi in lobby area fast, but signal didn't reach room; 2 minute walk to the train station; by tons of places to eat; nice staff; allowed us to check in 3 hrs early; very cheap for the Mumbai area; no shower head though. overall great value if you are looking for an inexpensive stay.
Simple budget accommodation. You get what you pay ”
Our stay was totally fine. The place looks sketchy from the outside and the sign is terrible but the location is great. It is right next to Mumbai Central train station and the train is SUPER cheap to ride. Like 5 rupees. Again, we knew what we were paying for. It is a simple room with a fan and an ensuite bathroom. It is on a noisy street but that is hard to get away from in downtown Mumbai. The wifi worked pretty darn well in the common areas. No hot water, but we weren't expecting it. The staff was friendly and allowed us to keep our bags there for half the day after checking out before our overnight bus. The room was definitely clean. No bugs or rodents or anything like that. The beds are SUPER hard but again you are getting what you pay for. If you are on a backpackers budget, this is not a bad place to stay. I would stay here again.
Pretty average ”
Ok for a quick stop”
Seems more a place for locals than foreigners, besides the man at the front desk the staff didn't really speak much English. We were also the only foreign people there at the time. Room was tiny as was bathroom, 2 people + backpacks and you could hardly move. Rooms at the front are extremely noisy as they face a busy road, honking really doesn't stop much during the night. Staff were friendly though and tried to help where possible, although found it hard to get a restaurant recommendation in the area without catching a taxi. We managed to just find one on our own close by which was fine. Although Mumbai is expensive I think it would be possible to find something a bit better for a similar place around the central area.
A place to stay, great location near bus stop and major train station. Value for money so I won't mention the absence of nic facilities.
Just a basic hotel to get some sleep in”
I only went here because I had some time to kill before getting my train and needed some rest. It was adequate in that it had a bed and fan, but it is very basic and not particularly clean.
my stay was overall positive, rooms are small but cosy, free wi-fi is a bonus but no towels or soup!
Very good location”
Centraly place nice just for sleep”
value for money”
its centrally located, no issue to find the guest house. rooms were really small but we knew that when we took it, so cant complain. staff were very friendly and helped us a lot to make our stay comfortable. our soul intention was to keep the trip under budget and guest house room rates helped us a lot as it was cheapest on the block. there was breakfast(2 piece bread + omlette)it was OK on Indian standards. if you have lot of time to spend inside the room i would suggest to keep looking for other options. if u need only a place to spend night and freshen up, central guest house serves that.
Certainly not worthy of being on Agoda's website. Only redeeming feature was a good wifi connection in the lobby.
You get what you pay for.”
Be wary of their bottled water, they tried to give me an already opened unsealed water. Also the hotel lobby is in on the 3rd floor of the building, with most of the rooms on the floors about that. Be ready to do a lot of stair climbing.
Clean, secure, good value.”
Not for this price”
I'm avoided. For this price I did not have a shover ! Very nois'y is there. And air killing. Good localisation if you wait for a trein. Is very close to Mumbai Central Station. Take the rooms only with Agoda reservation. Extra naight cost extra money ! Nice people works there but it's not everything.
Poor location, uncomfortable beds, noisy”
The hardest mattress we had anywhere. We had to ask for everything--towel, toilet paper, a blanket, a bucket of hot water. We were told breakfast was not included so went out for breakfast, then when we returned were asked what we wanted for breakfast. The staff is very large for such a small place, and they were very loud until late in the night. The shower did not work, and only had cold water; we had to request a bucket of hot water to bathe. It was also very insecure--just a tiny luggage lock kept the door closed when we were out, and if you didn't bolt the door firmly while you were inside the room the staff would walk right in.
safe and secure”
i stayed here one night on arriving in mumbai. i asked to change rooms and they were helpful. room was tidy and typical of this price range. there are many similar hotels in this area but i didnt compare prices. i'm sure you could find cheaper and similar standard than booking on here but in my opinion its worth paying a few pounds more not to have to search upon arrival after a long flight! there was hot water in my first room, not when i moved but a bucket was provided. they let me check the internet a reception briefly but i saw comptuer near the hotel. siddiq on recption was really helpful with directions and advice. really close to mumbai central station (5min walk). 50/60rs taxi ride to cst station which you'll need to go to for tourist quota tickets. i didnt sight see so have no idea what other attractions are near by. i rated this hotel based on my need of a safe, cheap hotel close to a main station for 1-2 nights so i didnt have to wander looking on arrival.
Pathetic Hotel !”
Please DO NOT take the photos as any indicator of the hotel's quality. The rooms are so small that you can barely breathe. Once you pay online, they'll give you the smallest room. The owner think that since they are offering the cheaper rates, they do not have anything to do with maintaining quality. My deal had free breakfast ! To be honest, the hotel is just indifferent and they have no clue what hospitality means ! They are doing a service to humanity by offering you a shelter. Never on this site again will I book any hotel. Do not book this hotel ! My experience is JUST TERRIBLE !
Shabby hotel, unfriendly staff”
The hotel was easy to find but very shabby. We didnt expect much but when we reached in the morning, some weird people were sleeping on the floor of the hallway in front of our room door. Same story at night when we came back from sightseeing. One guy still had a rubber band around his arm.. so I assume it was a heroine addict. Very scary!! We didnt feel very safe and were glad to leave in the morning. We asked the "lobby" to keep our luggage since our bus drove at night. They wanted to charge us 100 INR !! So we just went to the cloak room at the train station. Bad service!
