Luxurious stay at Queenstown”

Luxurious room, friendly staff, great location

The hotel was the perfect place for us to unwind after our activities in Queenstown. We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and the staff (reception was Adriana) was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was luxurious (as promised in the photos) and had a large tub for us to soak and unwind. There are comfortable seats by the TV and free DVDs should you require them. The hotel is just a short walk away from the city centre (3 mins walk through Queenstown Garden) and 20mins drive to Arrowtown. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Convenient location, excellent room, fantastic service ... would definitely stay again”

Staying at Central Ridge really helped us fully enjoy our time in Queenstown. The exceptional service started the *instant* we arrived ... we were surprised to see the manager Randhir at the top of the driveway to collect our luggage from the shuttle bus and take them directly to our room. He also offered helpful advice on sightseeing and activities. The cooked breakfast was excellent. We ordered omelettes every day which came out light and fluffy - just how we like them. When our outbound flight was cancelled half an hour after we checked out, we phoned Randhir in a panic and he kindly put us to be back in the same room, no trouble. We can't recommend Central Ridge Boutique Hotel highly enough. While the hotel doesn't have fancy interior design, what it does have is bucket loads of good old-fashioned customer-focused service!

I would totally come back here!”

It's really convenient because it's close to the city center and to bus stops. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. There's a nice common room downstairs too where you can just hang out. We weren't able to try the breakfast though since it wasn't part of our booking but I saw that they opened early (around 7:30am if I recall correctly). Wifi is good and fast. Bathroom is very clean and there are toiletries available. Beds were comfy too! This is definitely the only place I will stay at every time I go to Queenstown.

A great place to stay in Queenstown”

The service, the food (breakfast only), the location.

Staying here was absolutely great. It was only about a one block walk to the downtown. The long trip bus-stop to Milford sound is just across the street. A supermarket is very nearby to purchase lunch food for trips. The rooms were very large and attractive. I would rate the hotel as 4 star. The staff were amazing. Adrianna and Wendy are on work visas from Mexico. They were so helpful with any request, need, or question. They made staying there a real treat. The whole experience at Central Ridge Boutique Hotel was great. I would stay there again any time I am in Queenstown.

Queenstown is a busy place and it’s difficult to find parking around Queenstown Mall. We just parked our car in the hotel carpark and walked to Queenstown Mall (just a 2-8 min walk). Menu breakfast was offered from 7:30 so it’s perfect for us as we were going to drive early to the next destination.

Great value for large room and great location”

location, room size, comfort

This was our second stay of the trip as we loved it the first time. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and allowed us to leave bags as we travelled to other parts of the Island. The rooms are large with huge bed, sitting area. We were lucky to get the top corner room this time which meant we had views of mountains and as it snowed heavily overnight it was a lovely place to wake up. A short walk (2 mins) down the hill and you are in the centre of Queenstown though hotel is very quiet.

A very welcoming, friendly and relaxing place to stay. Large room with French doors opening onto patio. Super kingsize bed which was extremely comfortable. Hotel well located just a short walk down the hill to the beautiful township of Queenstown. Highly Recommend.

Nice rooms, excellent staff! ”

1) Location is a short 5 minute walk to the main street of Queenstown. Do note however, that this shortest route goes through a park that isn't lit at night. 2) Parking is 4 outdoor lots within the compound. It isn't a lot, but I didn't have problems with parking the 2 nights I stayed. 3) Rooms were clean, spacious and cosy. 4) The front desk staff was disarmingly friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. He gave many helpful suggestions when bad weather threatened our sightseeing plans.

This was a very comfortable place to stay, 5 minutes walk to the centre of Queenstown. The room we had was very spacious, quiet, clean, and reasonably priced. Overall, we were very happy with this hotel. The only negative point was that the hotel did not have washing machines for the guests to use, instead charging $15 for the staff to do a load for you. We were forced to use the laundromat in Queenstown.
