"The Talking Stick resort has a lot going for it, including 5 restaurants, nice pool areas, a large parking garage, and a very good high-end restaurant with good food and an amazing view. The rooms are modern, comfortable and well designed. And the resort is located near a major highway that gives access to anywhere you want to go in Phoenix/ Scottsdale. Gambling and gaming is an added bonus if that is an activity you enjoy. In all, we liked the Talking Stick and would stay there again."

"This is a must stay in Scottsdale, we absolutely LOVED our time here. We were away for our 10 year wedding anniversary trip and it was our last night of our road trip around Arizona and it couldn't have been the more perfect ending. The resort is stunning and the staff were helpful and very friendly. We had a King Suite and it was fabulous and we loved having our coffee in the morning on our little patio outside. The pools were all great and the pool bar had an excellent pina colada. We enjoyed happy hour at their restaurant and had delicious flatbread, beer and wine. The cherry on top is the bottomless popcorn at the restaurant, if I hadn't had it I would not believe how incredible it is. It makes theatre popcorn seem tasteless!! UNREAL and our server was amazing! Cannot wait to go back and stay longer next time :)"

"I arrived early to check out the place. The staff member at the desk checked to see if my room was available early and it was. She allowed me to check in. That evening I found that the window didn't lock. The front desk clerk tried to remedy the situation and when she couldn't they moved me to another room. The staff couldn't have been nicer. "

"Our visit started very poorly, but wound up ok. Key cards were not properly programmed, had to go back to desk and have new cards programmed. Wifi did not work, even after trying the desk (and IT) multiple times. No joy on day 1, but the wifi was back on day 2 and remained for our stay (5 d). Morning of 2nd day, there was no hot water in the shower/bathroom. Also, when we returned to our room at end of day 2, housekeeping had not even been in the room. After tweeting at Hilton, and multiple volleys of conversation, by day 4 local management stepped in. They made it right, giving us an appropriate discount on the visit. All issues had been resolved. Slow, but correct response. Staff didn't seem to be as responsive as they should for a Hilton hotel."
