Big room with (almost) everything you need”
I booked Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 Hotel based on the reviews I read in Agoda and the fact that, since this was a "serviced apartment", it had its own washer/dryer in the room. The reviews were correct when these said that the location is at a private road and that the tuktuk service was very handy and convenient. I, myself, took advantage of the tuktuk to go to the main road. I also took the free shuttle to Terminal 21 which i found very helpful since it was raining on my last day. The staff was patient with me, having to request them to weigh my luggage every now and then. I also liked the welcome drinks that was pretty much refillable while waiting for the check-in. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, too. Speaking of check-in, I had to wait for quite some time before I could do so as there were only 2 people at the front desk and it was pretty busy. Good thing there were free coffee and tea. Also, they asked me for THB2000 deposit which I could pay either in cash (the exact same bills will be returned to you upon check-out) or credit card (which may take up to 3 weeks to be credited). I don't remember reading such so I was shocked but I couldn't do anything else but pay. In addition, the couch in my room could use some deep cleaning as I found myself a bit itchy after having stayed there while watching TV. If I go back to Bangkok, I would consider staying here again especially since I got a good deal from Agoda
Great Family Suite next to BTS and Terminal 21”
It is really hard to find hotels in Bangkok for 7 people. There are no hotels that have two queens in one room. Most hotels have one double bed per room, some rooms have two twins, and sometimes you could find three twin beds in one room We took our big family on a once in a life time trip to Thailand and finding a hotel that could house all of us was really hard. I was really excited to find the Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 had a family suite with three bedrooms and two baths. The rooms were lovely. There was one King with an adjoining bathroom, one queen with adjoining bathroom and a room with two twins. Our little girl slept on the couch in the family room. It had a kitchen, washing machine and a balcony that looked over the most amazing skyline. It is a 10 minute walk from Nana BTS station. There is a shuttle that takes you from the main road to the hotel. The lobby is just beautiful and much fancier than we are used to. When we checked in they wanted to see our passports and departure cards. It is a quick 10 minute walk to Terminal 21 shopping mall. We would walk there for meals and things we needed. It has a lovely outdoor swimming pool out on top of a roof that is only open until 8pm. After a hot sweaty day walking around Bangkok the kids really wanted to jump in the pool. We raced to get back by 7:30 so they could enjoy a few minutes splashing around. They did close the pool promptly at 8. The hotel is on the good side of the street where it is safe to walk with your family at night. We got turned around coming off the BTS and walked on the wrong side of the street with all the bars and girls and things going on. Remember, the hotel is on the good side of the street! You should be able to walk to Nana or Asoke at Terminal 21 without being bothered by the Bangkok night life. This really is a great location with the BTS and Terminal 21 so close.
Excellent value & an excellent location”
This is "one great hotel" I am a long term seasoned traveller to Bangkok & SE Asia. Without doubt I would rank the Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 at the top of my list for overall value and service. I could not fault the staff, the room, the location or facilities. My 12th floor corner suite was huge! It also had a balcony with a table and two chairs. The suite unusually had a washing machine, which is a godsend in the Bangkok heat. The hotel is located on the quiet side of Sukhumvit Road, down towards the end of Soi (street) 10, which is a "no through St" The hotel runs a complimentary 24/7 tuk tuk up to Sukhumvit Rd to drop off and collect hotel guests. The drivers are always happy and helpful and will stop to pick you up anywhere in the Soi. The hotel restaurant serves excellent Thai dishes, but does not sell alcoholic beverages. You are very welcome to bring your own (BYO) and the staff will place it in their restaurant refrigerator for your convenience. In summing up the CentrePoint Hotel, I would recommend it to all classes of travellers. Families, business, solo or group travel.
Great choice for accommodation in Bangkok!”
We had a great stay at Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 Hotel. It was within walking distance to the BTS Asok Station and Terminal 21 mall and Robinsons/Tops Supermarket. The hotel offers a tuktuk service from the hotel to the main road and back. (The hotel is in a side street and would be quite a walk to the main road without the tuktuk.) We were lucky to have been allowed to check in early as the previous occupants of the unit we'll be staying in checked out early. There's a coffee/hot chocolate/juice available to guests in the lobby. Wifi was fast. The 3-br suite we stayed in was very spacious, clean and had everything we need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was quite good! The staff were efficient. From check in, check out, helping us book a shuttle van to the airport, arranging cabs, etc. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues, and would stay here again myself when I next find myself in Bangkok.
Luxurious stay for a 4 star and good value”
This has to be one of the most luxurious stay I've ever been in. There is nothing I can fault except that it was hard to find at first. Card says 39 Soi 10 Sukhumvit which means it is actually at Soi 10, No. 39 and not Soi 39 (which happens to have another Centre Point along that road, which makes it confusing.) But overall, my stay is simply luxurious and I felt guilty as I feel I should have paid more for the package I am getting. They offer Tuk Tuk service which can get you easily to the main road to access the train BTS and from there on you can go anywhere eg Siam Paragon or MBK for shopping. All the hotel features are simply superb or high class from the tiles of the floors to the furnitures and bed and linen. I was at 15th floor and got rewarded with a nice view of Bangkok. The customer service is simply outstanding. I got to the hotel too early. They made me wait at the Facilities room which has sauna, pool, shower, library and kids centre, plus free coffee too. One night, I was too tired to get dinner that I ordered room service and the food was one of the best I've tasted which was surprising. It was good value too. The breakfast is also superb with different selection. I took advantage of the croissants. Bangkok is a very busy city that going to this hotel to rest at night is a welcome break from all the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this hotel and there is no doubt at all why they won TripAdvisor award for Excellence for 2012. They truly deserve it.
One of the best deals in Asia”
If you are looking for a place to stay in Bangkok that is closely located to business and pleasure, inexpensive, and full of amenities, then Centre Point Sukhumvitis the place to stay. I have been travelling to Bangkok for business and vacation for the past 15 years. I have stayed at Siam City Hotel, The Ascott, Somerset, Legacy Suites, Admiral Premiere, Drop INN Bangkok, Column Bangkok, and many others. I like to stay in places that are very nice, but a good deal. Centre Point is on Soi 10, which is a quiet Soi just a 4 minute walk to the Skytrain and a few more minutes to terminal 21 shopping center. The hotel has impeccable facilities and is very classy. The pool is great. The gym is big, and the steam and sauna rooms are private and big enough for 4-5 people. The rooms are big, and have very nice balconies overlooking the city. The 1 Bedroom rooms have a nice living room equipped a full service kitchen. Overall, this is the best deal I have stayed at yet. The staff were very courteous, and the morning breakfast buffet had omelets cooked to order with many other treats. Overall, the best so far.
My favourite hotel in Bangkok”
I had a very enjoyable stay & Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 Hotel All the staff are very welcoming & very helpful Stayed in a deluxe suite, very clean & spacious room, great to have a washing machine & kitchen in the room, buffet breakfast was excellent, Only small drawback is hotel located deep in soi 10, about a 5 minute walk to Sukhumvit but there is a very reliable tuk-tuk service that shuttles back & forth all day I would highly recommend this hotel & will stay here again next time I visit Bangkok
Good value stay”
Our third stay at Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 Hotel and thoroughly satisfied with time spent there. Even had the added bonus of being upgraded to an executive suite! Didn't use the restaurant or room service facilities so cannot comment on the food. Staff were friendly and courteous and made the stay very easy. Noticed a few comments regarding location, however I like the fact the hotel is at the end of the soi, particularly as the tuk-tuk service runs until midnight. Links to both the BTS and MRT systems are close at hand with Nana, Asok and Sukhumvit stations in near proximity. Room was huge !! and well equipped with kitchenette and laundry facilities. Happy to recommend this hotel as excellent value.
A home within the heart of Bangkok”
Just right in the heart of Bangkok, Sukhumvit area is a fantastic place to be and Centre Point Hotel 10 is right in the middle of it. The hotel is accessible via the BTS and once you get to their meeting points they provide complimentary shuttle rides to and from the hotel. Very convenient! The room we stayed in was a junior suite. It was comfortable for our family group of 3. Very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped for days you feel like cooking your own food. The beds were comfortable and and the linens were always fresh. Bottled water is provided daily and the housekeepers are very generous with it. Amenities such as the pool and gym were immaculate. The staff were outstanding. The housekeepers were nice and they really try hard to understand what you need and request. The front office staff were very courteous. The guards were professional and the shuttle drivers are very helpful. The breakfast was good. There are varieties available and fresh fruits served daily.
Roomy apartments well managed.”
We got a good deal on the price and stayed for 3 nights. Compared to Shama in which we stayed earlier, Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 is better in all aspects including price, location, breakfast, swimmmingpool. Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 has a nice atmosphere that is missing in most apartment hotels. Would definitely consider CP Sukhumvit 10 next time.
We really enjoyed our stay in Centre Point Sukhumvit 10. We were upgraded on arrival to a 2 bedroom apartment, rather than a one bedroom executive suite, which was a lovely surprise! The room was excellent, with everything you needed, 2 bathrooms, huge main bedroom, good size second bedroom, lounge and balcony. We were lucky enough to have a fantastic view towards Terminal 21 and a park with a lake. The room didn't really have any cons, apart from the furniture being a little dated (but this was not a problem for us) & the shower in the main bathroom made a gurgling sound! The staff were all superb and very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic, a good choice of fruit, pastries, thai noodles and rice and pancakes, toast, cereal, yoghurt as well. It is a walk up to the main road, but it is no distance at all really, takes 5 minutes at a leisurely pace. I've read reviews of the hotel in the past which said the pool was small. To me it was plenty big enough and lovely!
Very satisfied and happy”
I went with my family (a total of 4 adults) for a 4D3N stay. First impression upon arrival to the hotel was that the location is a little bit far from the main road (through a pretty narrow lane). However, this is solved with the available free tuk-tuk service provided by the hotel from their lobby to the main road, and I must say that this service helped my elderly parents a lot. We stayed in a 2-room family suite. It is spacious and clean, with almost everything you need available, from a washing machine to dinnerware and cutlery. Breakfast for 4 is included in our family suite, and we were all happy with the spread available. The staff are very friendly and helpful, housekeeping was good and thorough. Overall our stay with Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 is a very pleasant one, and we will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
No one does it better than Centre Point”
I have stayed at the centre point hotels in Bangkok for 10years, they are mostly great. This soi 10 one is the flagship and oldest. Mainly catering for Japanese on long-term leases on rooms. The standard is high. Its a refreshing change to stay here from the typical hotels in Bangkok which are chaos. No hawkers scammers waiting for you outside. FREE Tuk tuk service to the end of the soi...just superb. The rooms are smaller now you use to get a 2 bedroom for 100bucks but they knocked these rooms in 2 separate modern pads, thats a shame but changing times...jacuzzi bath is excellent. Highly recommend this place if you like quiet, clean relaxing city accommodation. Other places try to replicate centre point with this apartment style thing and they are mostly rubbish. You get a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine so you don’t have to pay for laundry or you can cook too...room service is great and food very good..breakfast voucher for a good buffet breakfast as well. BE WARNED No alcohol on the menu or in the mini mart. This is a godsend, i like a drink but it keep all the shenanigans associated with booze away from this place and if anyone has been to Bangkok will know there is alot of loose living going on! Simply open your duty free of take the free tuk tuk service to the 7/11 for a beer run. Great for large families…
Home away from home”
I return time after time to the Centre Point Soi 10 which really has become my "home away from home" in Bangkok. The hotel is well located, in a quiet soi away from the Sukhumvit madness but a short walk or even shorter ride in the complimentary tuktuk from the mouth of the soi, and close to both BTS stations Nana and Asoke. The studios and the one bedroom suites I've stayed in are all beautifully designed and contemporary in styling. I've happily used the well-thought-out kitchenettes and the in-room washer-dryer. Of course the in-room complimentary wifi ought to be a standard in all good hotels (but sadly isn't). Needless to say, the rooms have all been spotlessly clean. The facilities floor is great, with a nice big pool that you can actually exercise in and a well-equipped gym. The breakfast buffet is big with plenty of interesting Asian dishes and eggs cooked-to-order, not to mention good freshly-brewed coffee (not always the case in Thailand). And last but not least all the staff from the front desk to the crazy guys at the front gate have always been polite, efficient, friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating. Will I return? You bet!
Excellent location and Facilities”
I have been staying at the Centre Point Serviced Apartments in Sukhumvit Soi 10 for over 18 months (when I am business in Bangkok). I have stayed at many other Hotels & Apartments in Bangkok prevously but none compare to the Centre Point. The staff are very friendly & helpful & the rooms clean and spacious. The free internet and breakfast is also a big bonus. The location cannot be faulted either; only a 5 minute walk to two BTS stations and 10 minutes walk to Soi Nana & Soi Cowboy.
Nice Hotel, friendly staff and good breakfast”
Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 Hotel is near to BTS Asok, just 10 mins walk from BTS Asok. It's easy to reach Terminal 21 (the shopping mall at BTS Asok, good place for shopping and eating). Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 Hotel provides free pick up service from Sukhumvit 10 to Hotel so guests do not need to walk a lot. Breakfast is good and many choices. Gym Room & Swimming Pool is good too.
Centre Point Sukhumvit hotel in Bangkok Thailand”
Centre Point Sukhumvit hotel in Bangkok Thailand. We experienced perfect service in this hotel. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The rooms we stayed in were excellent, always cleaned very well and more than comfortable. The hotel facilities were fantastic....we enjoyed the pool and sauna most days. Hotel restaurant has some nice choices...buffet breakfast was always good. Not in the nicest location compared to some of the bigger hotels in Bangkok however easy to get to all the tourist attractions and action in the city. Good security was provided. Probably one of the best hotels service wise that I have experienced. Lovely people.
Had a wonderful stay at Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 hotel. Booked a deluxe room, but got a complimentary upgrade to the 1 bedroom suite . The room was clean, neat and spacious. Staff was very attentive . The hotel was convenient located next to major shopping malls, restaurants and clubs. Had a nice view from the balcony.I really love the interior design and also the view from my room. The room is very high tech and the services made guests feel at home.Would definitely be back again.
Wonderful hotel with excellent service and food”
We've stayed at the Centre Point Sukhumvit Hotel approximately 10 times and every time has been a rewarding and relaxing experience. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. We had a 1-bedroom suite which was large and well appointed. There is free high-speed wi-fi. There is a fullpsize refrigerator too. The breakfast buffet serves Thai and Western food, and even Japanese food; all of which is delicious. The fitness center is big and has well-maintained equipment. The pool is large as well and has a child's section. Overall, the Centre Point is an excellent value for the money. It's a bit off of Sukhumvit but the tuk-tuk shuttle runs regularly to the main street.
centre point sukhumvit 10 hotel”
Our stay at Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 was great. Upon checking in we were given an upgrade which was lovely, thank you. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great. Visited the hair salon there 3 times there is a great hairdresser there, sorry I cant remember her name, very reasonable and did my hair exactly as requested. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bangkok and we will certainly be staying here again.
