I'm so happy to stay at this hotel:) Even when the first time i come, the hotel is looks so quiet. But i will alwasy remember that the hotel stafs is so freindly and so helpful, and they also can help/guide us to visit some place near the hotel in labuan bajo, because after their working time, they can ride the motorcyle and bring us to some place and we just need to give them the cost and tips. Accually they're very good to explained and guide us, they can be good tourist guide ;) The standard room is also nice. the other things is also for their restaurant in 2level. it's good, the furnitures is also fantastic and 1 more the food is delicios, their Banana Pancake so yummy. For the hotel place is also good, near with pede beach, batu cermin caves, the harbour of labuan bajo, it's nice. thank you Centro Bajo Hotel for your hospitality. very nice and affordable hotel a bit outside the noisy town center, very good restaurant ”
We spent 3 nights there and liked it very much. no pool, but a nice garden. it is quiet, the rooms are clean and the staff very helpful. they offer a free shuttle to the town center twice a day (private car), but you also can walk for 15 minutes to the harbour. The restaurant and the stuff there are great! very very good food and one of the girls there wakes up at 4am to prepare us an egg toast we could take away for our super early tour. the hotel doesn't provide a beautiful view over the bay of Labuan Bajo like other hotels , but the price is much lower. so all in all a very nice experience :) recommend!

Really enjoyed the very friendly staff!”
I really liked Centro Bajo. It was a great mid range hotel (350,000 for a double room w/AC and breakfast) the rooms were very clean and the hotel had a great lounge/restaurant area with a beautiful tropical backdrop. It is a little farther away, but its shuttle will drop you off and pick you up any time and anywhere in Labuan Bajo. The staff there are fabulous! Very accommodating and friendly. There is decent wifi in the lobby, but not in the rooms. Make sure to make the trek (and it is a bit of a trek) up the mountain from the lobby to the sunset point. The stunning view of Labuan Bajo and the surrounding islands at sunset was definitely worth the hike!

One of the better options in Labuan Bajo”
It's definitely not 'Central' as the name suggests, however it is on the main street, about 5-10mins walk from the action. I actually prefer the location than if it was smack back in the main street as I believe it would be very loud. Staff were very friendly and wonderful, except for the fact they came to clean our rooms at 8am, then when we didn't answer they came back at 9:30am and were insistent they clean the rooms then. I understand most people are in LB to dive and therefor get up early, but this particular morning was the one day in our two week journey where we could actually sleep in, so waking us up and kicking us out of our room so they could clean it wasn't really appreciated. The 'sunset view spot' couldn't be anymore neglected or badly signposted. The air conditioning in the room was also shockingly useless, and if you want wifi then try to get a room right next to the lobby. Nothing to do with the hotel, but Labuan Bajo is also quickly becoming a trash heap. The harbour is full of plastic bottles and other rubish, swimming at the beaches around town is absolutely disgusting, like swimming in a giant plastic bag. It's really quite a shame watching the locals (and no doubt foreigners also) throw there trash on the ground or off the boats in the water, they are destroying the beautiful surroundings that people are arriving to see in the first place. I think they disgusting environmental catastrophe that is inevitable in LB will keep me from returning.

Good Choice of a Hotel”
while the centro bajo is not in the center of all of the activities going on in this small city, it is close enough to walk. what the hotel offers is a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. the staff is very friendly and while some of them struggle with english they all tried their best to assist in solving any problems. on the downside is the lack of hot water in the shower. after trekking for almost an entire day, i was looking forward to a nice hot shower and instead almost froze my manhood off.

We spent a couple of days at another hotel before Centro Bajo and even though the other place was also nice, we were very warmly welcomed at Centro Bajo. The staff with their smile and enthusiasm makes a big difference in creating a comfortable atmosphere.

Nice hotel between town and sirport”
We stayed at Centro Bajo before and after heading out to Komodo islands. It was a comfortable place to stay and get settled after being in small bungalows on the beach. Although a bit far from town, it is easy to either walk (~20min) or cheap to catch a ride. We took scooters for 5k rupiah and often rode the bemos (public bus) for same price per person. The hotel also offers transportation in their van for 25k (about $2.50). So, it's cheap to get around and pretty easy. Breakfast was very simple but did the job. We also had tea and coffee in afternoon and were served with banana fritters at no charge. Dinner was hit and miss and sometimes seemed to be delivered via takeout. For great Italian fix, try MadeInItaly in town - the pizza is amazing!! Medetraneo across the street was also pretty good. Our room was a little musty, but the AC worked well and all was clean and functional enough. No hot water, but we're used to it.

THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS THE STAFF! THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE ROOM (THE MOST EXPENSIVE ONE) LACKED SUNSHINE AND THE SOUNDPROOF WAS NOT GREAT. BUT BECAUSE YOU COME TO LABUAN BAJO FOR ISLANDS, YOU DON'T REALLY NOTICE SUCH THINGS. THE HOTEL IS 20 MINS WALK FROM THE CITY CENTER, BUT THE HOTEL PROVIDE RELIABLE DROP OFF AND PICK UP. VERY NICE. THE BREAKFAST IS INDONESIAN STYLE. THE WIFI SIGNAL WAS STRONG...BUT WE COULD NOT CONNECT...

I love this hotel and Labuanbajo! I never find a place so lovely in Indonesia...still few turists...Centro bajo has something in common with Bali architecture but the staff is even more lovable! 15 min by walking to Labuanbajo. You could affort it!

Friendly staff but kind of far out of town”
Centro Bajo is a basic hotel with no surprises. The standard room comes with the basics and air conditioning. The wifi signal is strong, breakfast is included and decent. The staff are friendly and helpful if you need to get an ojek and even dropped me off in town for free at the end of my stay. The room was very clean, my only complaint is that there were a lot of Mosquitos in the room and some other creepy crawlies also managed to make their way in. It is also a bit far out of town as well but not too far.

One of the better places to stay”
so, labuan bajo still haven't got a lot of really nice, cheap places to stay. this is not so central, but still it is no problem getting around. and if you don't want to rely on the transportoffers they have at the hotel, just rent a motorcycle. makes it easy to get around, and the traffic is not so bad there either :) the rooms are not that big, but nice and well kept and clean ! :)

Over night stay”
We had 2 nights at Centro Bajo. We needed a hotel that was close to the airport, easy to go to the city and within our budget. CB suited our purpose as it is located 5 mins from the airport and they offer free shuttle bus to the city. They are a bit out of town, but it's very easy to get there anyway as LabuanBajo is a small town. One day we wanted to walk from CB to the center of the town and took us 15mins. The hotel offers Free shuttle (one pick up and one drop off per day). CB is simple, but very clean and comfy. They don't have any recreational area, so no pool. If you intend to stay longer I would recommend you to look for another place. CB is perfect for overnight stays. If your intention is to visit Labuanbajo to go on the boat trips to other islands to see the Komodo dragons, and snorkeling/diving Cb will be a good option for you. Breakfast options are more Indonesian style. You can get omelette, toast and tea or coffee. Staff were super friendly to us and did everything to help and make our stay the best they could. We definitely had the experience we expected at CB and suited our purpose very well.

this is a good value option in labuan bajo. its location is 20 minute walk from the town centre, although taxis and ojeks are available very cheaply. however, it's location means its quieter. we've stayed here twice now as we like it. the hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the coffee is great (as is the breakfast). the only negative is no hot water, although that's no big deal as lb is so hot anyway.

Decent hotel”
We stayed at Centro Bajo Hotel for a trip to the Komodo Islands. The hotel is clean, but needs a lot of tlc. The location is in a quiet part of Labuan Bajo so if you don't want to be near the habour it's a good choice...if you do, then don't stay here. They kindly kept our bags whilst we were on our trip. The breakfast was ok..toast and an indonesian style. Overall it suited us but next time I would stay near the habour. On a side note, my husband fell down the stairs on our checkout as they were mopping the stairs and there wasn't a warning sign....be careful!!

La oferta de hoteles en Labuan Bajo nos pareció limitada, así que reservamos en este sin muchas expectativas. Y así fue... pero además hubo alguna sorpresa más: el hotel está un poco “destartalado”, teníamos obras del mismo delante de la habitación, las puertas no encajaban en el marco, estuvimos sin agua caliente hasta el tercer día, algunas luces de la habitación funcionaban de manera intermitente... Por todo ello me pareció que estábamos pagando demasiado por el alojamiento. Puntos a favor: les llamábamos para que enviaran al conductor (tienes derecho a ir y volver al centro en su coche una vez al día) y llegaba a los 10 min; cuando les comentamos los problemas se disculparon mil veces y lo solucionaron como buenamente pudieron. El desayuno, correcto.

Average hotel outside of town”
Im not sure if centro translates to central but if it does, this hotel is not in central bajo. It is a good twenty minute walk outside of the town up hill. Once I walked there, I did find out they do offer a free shuttle bus so I suggest that you ring ahead of your stay to avoid the walk. Over half of my stay was without electricity, I know it's Asia but many other hotels have back up generators which would have been useful. The room was comfy but not cleaned too well, lots of hairs left around and a half used bar of soap on the shower floor, this really should have been picked up by the staff prior to letting me stay there. Free breakfast was good with a wide selection of food and the on site restaurant was reasonably priced. Shower was very good with both hot and cold fresh water, pleasant change from other hotels. Overall, it was average. I would stay there again but put off due to location.

hotel room was okay, simple fried rice breakfast but cozy restaurant. a little bit far from downtown, but you can take "ojek" for 5 thousand rupiahs. from centro bajo you can take 10-15 minutes walk to sunset point, but watch out for the weather, because in rainy season you cannot see sunset..
