Lovely stay due to excellent service ”
we loved our stay in coron. centro coron was a simple lodge, with clean rooms, good location (within the town proper, walking distance to the public market and the pier), and superior customer service. even at the booking process, the contact person was very responsive to our queries. and when we got to coron, we were well take cared of by the centro coron staff, from our arrival to departure. this was very important to us since we were traveling as a big group with a number of children and elderly folks. centro coron even helped us book budget tours. what we also liked was that we were able to purchase fresh seafoods from the public market and centro coron agreed to cook them for us at a reasonable charge. this helped us maintain our travel budget.

Great Location and sumptuous breakfast”
We stayed at Centro Coron Bed and Breakfast from Feb 2-5, 2012 with my niece and nephew all adults. The rooms very basic but with hot shower.The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They serve buffet breakfast. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.

very accomodating staff & we reserve for a twin room but we came in 5 pax instead of paying for additional head they just ask us to pay for additional breakfast & no charge for extra head!! very sweet staff all of them from reception desk to service staff & very warm welcome from the owner!!! thank you Centro Coron! we'll sure comeback for your hotel!!! Tumbs Up!!! forget to mention they cook us a Sinigang n Lapu lapu the best ever Lapu Lapu serve!!!

Great Hotel, shame I didn't stay there. ”
Coron is an amazing place I highly recommend going. Great stay. Coron Centro do a great breakfast, which is ideal when diving kayaking or doing whatever takes your fancy in lovely Coron. Both Coron Centro and Davens Palace get a big 'thumbs up' from me for the hospitality shown during my stay.

Nice and Reasonable”
Paid 150Php/person for the airport transfer (one way). The van was waiting outside the airport which was cool. Arrived at the hotel, they gave me a welcome drink and the rooms are clean (no complaint at all). Reasonable price for food and they are delicious. The hotel staff are nice and polite. It's in Coron Town Proper so you won't get bored. It's near the port where you go for the island hopping. "Kayangan Lake" is a MUST!!! Fu** the other trips (LOL), tell your boatman to just stay in Kayangan Lake!!! We only had like an hour there, we regret leaving Kayangan Lake for the snorkeling (In the package, you get to see 5 different places and it is only 650Php/person, lunch is included) Three of those are snorkeling only, corals looks the same!!! This hotel also has a night life, went to a comedy/disco house just 5 minutes walk from our hotel. Had fun. Also in "Maquinit Hot Spring" is a must too (so relaxing there)... Ate in Kawayanan Grill Station, they have nice food too and they also have a disco/music place "Subasco". Also this hotel is 5 minutes walk to the wet market where you can buy souvenirs and "pasalubong". Next to the wet market is the Luwalhati Park where you can sit and relax, take pictures and do a "Zip Line" on the bay, only 250Php/person. It's worth the travel!!! Trust meee!!! LOL :)

i loved our stay in coron. centro coron is centrally located and the ambiance is so relaxing. coron is not so populated and the nights are so quiet. it was a lovely vacation. there's dali dali korean take-out right across centro coron and there's ice valley beside it, a cute korean halo-halo stall. the only thing noticeable is that there's brownout everyday. but to sum up the vacay, it was super nice!

Cozy place great location lovely staff”
everything about this hotel is great, staff was awesome food was great location excelent and they offer to arrange a boat for island tour for only pesos with tour guide. request for avel he is the best tour guide that we have encountered, hs hospitality was awesome and he take perfect pictures. he knows the history and the trivia of the islands very well. room wise comfortable with welcome drinks and free breakfast, they have generator so no problem with the blackout. comfort room is abit small but ok bed and pillows are soft slept well. restaurant just below the hotel taste oh so great specially the sinigang sa miso and fried chicken large servings are really big and prices are very affordable

Great Location”
There was nothing fancy about the place but it was clean and comfortable enough, airconditioned rooms, flat screen tv, clean room but small bathroom. Across the street and few meters going left were massage parlors where i would go to during night time after a long day. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They have their own doctor as well if you get sick. Theres a korean restaurant and few other restos surrounding it. There was even an ice cream place beside centro coron!

Best hotel in town”
Breakfast was delicious, they cleaned the rooms and changed the towels every day which I didn't expect. Free WIFI at the coffee shop. Clean beds, cold airconditioning. What more can you ask for in Coron?

Amazing customer service”
first of all i do not write many reviews... but i have to here, coron is a little boring for me as i was not diving but i must talk about this little gem... i only stayed for 3 nights, the room was a little small, the bathroom was fine but it was the filipino staff that made this place. they welcomed me with a glass of ice tea, carried my bags for me, helped me arrange trips - first class customer service (better than most hotels i have stayed in).

good location- walking distance from publi market to pier and other restaurants. food: great food-must try sinigang na hipon. room-aircon room, wifi (only in the lobby area), hot and cold shower, rooms are a bit small for the twin beds. rooms are cleaned everyday. price: great value. php twin room for 4d3n. i was with 3 other friends and it cost us /person for the whole stay-not bad. tours: you can contact them directly and they arrange tours too at great value. look for ate rose she technically arrange everything!!

pros: the hotel has great tasting food. we just ordered our entire meals at the hotel (breakfast-dinner). at a very reasonable price. unlimited 3in1 coffee is provided per request. staffs are very accommodating in assisting us in our tours and other inquiries. the staffs are courteous and friendly. location is very near the market, pier, church, mt. tapyas etc. cons: the town has electric supply problem, expect to have power interruptions. however, emergency light and electric fan is readily provided. water heater sometimes malfunction.

Location and food good”
My heart sank when I saw the room. What a contrast with the hotels before and after in Manila! The room had to windows which were mirrored on the outside because they gave onto the dining room. When the noise of the kitchen and the dining room died down, well, the room is fifteen feet away from the national road. The main mode of transport in Coron is motorbike and tricycles (which are motorbikes converted to carry up to six passengers). Between 20 or 30 motorcycles passed every minute, and half of them had mufflers designed to assert the virility of the drivers. This for 10 % less than I would pay for the Heritage, an aging five-star hotel in Manila. However, the staff are nice and the food good, although not fancy. The noise dies down between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, so y can get your sleep if you are there for trekking or island hopping. I do not know if you can find a better but similarly priced alternative(Sunz perhaps)in Coron, which is pricey since most things are imported from the larger islands in the Philippines. Given the staff performance and the food, I would give this hotel a better rating if the price were competitive.

Nice location but brownout ”
Located in the center of coron town proper, a walking distance to the market and port area. strategically located near other restaurant even if their in house restaurant offers good food. breakfast and dinner. But there is always brownout in coron, we use only electric fan. They have not enough generator. But other side GMG hotel, they have big generator, so 24 hour has electricity. The room are basic amenities. their bathroom is clean as well as their bed sheets are clean.

We ended up staying for 4 nights actually!”
we didn't know whether we would like staying there and it wasn't peak season so we decided to just book for one night. but we found it to be suitable for our needs - clean, air conditioned, wifi equipped, relatively inexpensive and centrally located. for the sake of convenience, we decided to stay at the same hotel for the duration of our trip: 4 nights. we also found the staff very nice - they went out of their way to ensure that we were satisfied. this isn't going to be your dream hotel by any means. in fact, due to its proximity to the market and the centre of town, it is quite noisy in the morning due to all the motorcycles and tricycles passing by, but if you're gone on excursions and up early anyway, this shouldn't be a deal breaker. we also had occasional issues with running water since all the rooms are on the second floor and pumps had to be utilised. these were minor inconveniences, which if you could live with, i'd say this hotel is great value for two people.

i think i will stay there again when we go back to coron. as their place is being improved when we were there, they offered a transfer to a better location free of charge. friendly service and very assuring since its our first time there. they have arranged for most of our travel destinations, transpo and all.
