Clean, comfy, and great showers!”
This is a perfect place for people who travel light! The cabins have everything to meet electronic needs and is the perfect location for the July festivals (right in the middle of it!). The showers and hot tub area is also super clean and organized.
Nice and comfy hotel near the train station”
The cabin is quite spacious compared to other capsule style hotel. You can keep your large luggage with you in the cabin which is very comfortable. Be warned! a shared bathroom is a public bathtub (onsen) style. No private shower room! Overall, I like the hotel. Service is great. Staffs are friendly. The cabin and other facilities are nice and clean. I am lucky that no noisy other guests during my stay.
Inconventional capsule hotel”
This is a co-ed capsule hotel. It is very non traditional. There is no standard required indoor wear, and no relaxation lounge for drying off after your onsen. Lots of tourists as well, so not very good for a business traveler. Other than this fact, it is alright.
Non-traditional capsule hotel”

The hotel is very nice in good location. I don't know how they manage it between luxury-brand road. Anyway, The facility is cozy and I like this kind of interior. Many Western people inside. If you wants to be close with them, please stop by here. However, the smell in room is terrible.. I think it is from shoe rack in room. Hot spring is good, but extremely HOT!! Be careful~ Location is the best and no expect more.
A lovely place to stay ”
As in everything in Japan, it was clean, effective and modern thourghout including the spa in a central beautiful location of Kyoto, just the breakfast was a bit monotonous being the same every morning..
A good budget hotel to stay but note this.”
The hotel was nearby the subway. Probably 5 mins or less by foot. The hotel cabin was spacious as it gave me ample space. But do take note that the shower facility is at the basement. So whoever that needs to take a shower have to bring their towel and clothes to the basement to shower as there is only 1 shower area.
It's pod style, so you know what you're in for, but they are super friendly, the place is clean, and the hot bath/sauna is a real bonus. I found that with the door closed, the sleeping area simply got too hot. I'm going to be a little lenient here as it seems my travel is during the hottest summer Japan has experienced in their history. I feel that under normal circumstances that this wouldn't have been an issue.
It was good ”
The only thing that I was not satisfied with was the laundry/drying machines. They were quite messy and I ended getting the clothes with LOTS of DUSTS and they were still wet even I already dried 60 min.
Come with "onsen"! Superb”
Great hostel with included Onsen (public bath). If you're not comfortable being completely naked with everyone else from the hotel when you have a shower, then this is not the place for you. The hostel itself is well located on a very popular street near Nishiki Market and the shopping district. It was way beyond my expectation compare to the price i paid. The beds were amazing and my cubicle had my own tv. There is common lounge area that you hang around with coffee/teas/beers (which require to pay 300 yen per day). Also, the convenience store is located nearby. Facilities wise is relatively clean, amenities are up to date. Would definitely come back again!
Excellent location in the main shopping area. Good for getting the cabin experience, but we were glad we were only here for 2 nights. Mattress was a little uncomfortable. Cabin was clean and communal bathroom clean. A little annoying having to catch the lift 7 floors down just to shower.
Stayed for one night Located around 8m walk from the Ebisu Station, a lot of restaurant around as well The hotel entrance is quite small and stairs, so not recommended with those with extra heavy luggage traveller You can leave your luggage in the locker room if you stay for more than one day, but will still need to walk out during specific time, and need to leave the key on the receiptionist Good location and the shower rooms are clean
The best accommodation around Kyoto”
Walking distance from train station, close to nishiki market, bus stop and restaurant. The room is provide all you need, handphone charger, TV, headset, bath robe, mirror and small table to put your make up items. The sauna is free of charge and their amenities are so complete. In love with the toner and the cleansing oil.
Clean, comfy and an interesting experience staying in a capsule hotel. Breakfast was a choice of the one offered at the hotel or at the restaurant next door. We had ours at the hotel which was simple but filling and delicious. The bathhouse is smaller than we imagined from the photos but it was clean and relaxing. Location is near subway station, shopping areas, restaurants and convenience stores. Toiletries are complete including facial wash and cleansing oil.
Excellent Spa with Jacuzzi ”
Me and my girlfriend stayed here in total 9 nights because the place was grrat value for money and we both enjoyed going to the Spa every day at least once. The location is super central too and the facilities clean and modern. highly recommend this place.
Good location hostel with 24hours frontdesk.”
Kyoto...best travel place for japan. This hostel place at good location nearby Shijō Kawaramachi(shopping area in kyoto) with 24hours frontdesk and with small public bathroom. This hostel will free towel and free mask for you.1st hostel i stay with free mask!😂
Great Location; Few Minor Improvements”
Location is superb. Many buses and couple subway stations a stone throw away. Few minor improvement would be nice. Instead of using key card, a fob in a wrist band would prevent forgetting the keys when you go to the basement for shower. The way the locker combination is set is counter intuitive.. So many people have set the PIN incorrectly and needed to ask for assistance.
Excellent for those who are planning to explore Kyoto with limited time”
Location is superb, near to bus station and subway hankyu station line (karasuma). The room is excellent - clean, spacious, Japanese feel and has a TV Inside the cabin (we booked 6 private cabin room). Bathroom is nice with toiletries provided. Breakfast is included either English breakfast or Japanese breakfast. This place is close to everything, mall, coffee shops, 24/7 shops, street markets!!! and major Kyoto major attractions.
Great cp and great onsen(hot spring)”
Very cheap and the onsen in B1 is great! Though there is a staff in the morning that will always ask you that do you pay for the coupon for breakfast even if you are only containing water in the bar. She asked in a not-smiling and strict mood as if someone is accused of not paying for the coupon. I consider it a bit impolite to make such an ask towards the customers. Instead, the hostel should make the one receiving the coupon vouchers same as the one inspecting if there is anyone taking breakfast without paying for it. Then, every time we give away our coupon, they will know that I have paid for the breakfast already. To sum up, besides the one staff I have mentioned above, great staff, great onsen and great cp value for this hostel. I will stay here for the next time as well. Sincerely hoping that the staff may improve a bit of her attitude and show more respect towards the customers as other staff does!
High Cost Effectiveness”
The facilities is good enough for a hotel at this price. It is the most prosperous street in Kyoto. However, the clapboards between cabins is really weak so the sound insulation is poor. It will be perfect without this issue.
