Very Pleasant Stay”
I was very pleased with my decision to stay at the Centurion Hotel Grand Akasaka Mitsuke Station. The location is in the business district of Tokyo, but is still very lively. I was able to get where I needed to be via train or taxi and the area is well served on foot for food or entertainment. The facility itself was exceptionally quiet, clean, and comfortable. My room was expectedly small, but I had a very comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, a small desk, great bathroom and very functional WIFI. The water pressure during showers was also superb. The front desk staff were not uniformly conversant in English at all times, but during the daytime shift it was fine and we got through it. At all times, the staff were as kind and helpful as can be. I recommend this facility and, overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again on future visits.
Really great location!”
Me and my parents stayed at the Centurion Hotel Grand near Akasaka Mitsuke Station, for 6 nights in total and we were very pleased with our stay. One thing we really liked was the location itself as it was in the centre of the city, with Shibuya only 4 stops away via metro, Roppongi was 2 stops away, Shinjuku also just 4 stops away. Also, the Hotel was literally a few minutes walk away from the Akasaka Mitsuke station but the area was very lively filled with many restaurants, bars and convenience stores, so it was a very convenient area, there was always a lot of people in the area, but not crowded, so it was very safe too. Hotel room was clean and a decent size, they provided fresh towels every day as well as other daily necessities. The only thing was, that there was no safe or a closet but other than that we were very happy with what we paid for.
Great Stay, Ideal Location”
We were a traveling couple who stayed 5 nights in Tokyo on a sightseeing vacation. The Centurion Grand Akasaka was the ideal hotel for us. It was very clean, the staff were all very friendly and the rooms had some nifty amenities. The hotel is ideally located about a 2 minute walk to the Akasaka subway station where you are pretty much on a main line to get anywhere you need to go to see Tokyo. The surrounding area also has a lot of nice restaurant choices, a kareoke bar, and all kinds of cool shops. The room itself (the queen bed room) was fairly small and a little cramped with baggage, but for Tokyo, I suppose this size of room comes with the territory. The larger bed was a good decision for us. It was very comfortable. The hotel restaurant offers yogurt, granola, soup and some baked treats as their breakfast. Everything you need to head out on your Tokyo adventure - but don't expect the egg and bacon western style you might be accustomed to. This again comes with the territory. Overall, for the price this was a very good place to rest our weary heads after long days of sightseeing and we were very satisfied with our stay.
This was our second stay on our trip to Japan (27/6 - 9/7 2018). Room not too wide (like other hotels in Japan), but convenient enough for us (2 adults with 2 kids 13yrs & 10yrs), its because only less than 5 minutes to Akasaka Mitsuke station and surrounded by various food (especially Japanese like ramen, donburi, sushi etc.). There is also BIC store at Akasakan Mitsuke station. I'm surely recommend this hotel to any travelers. One thing that we're not really happy was the cigarette smell in the room, though they used an ionizer / plasmacluster device, still maybe they need to use some kind of odor neutralizer spray or something like that. But overall, it's been great experience to stay at Centurion Grand Akasaka.
One of the best hotel during my stay in Japan.”
My stay is excellent thanks to the new and clean centurion hotel grand akasaka. Basically its very easy to find the hotel and the location is excellent. The hotel provide free decent breakfast. Its just around 3mins walk to the train station which have lots of interchange for other places. The restaurant nearby like Zen Watami provided cheap and excellent quality japanese food. The only minus point is that I was told the room size was 20sqm which seems like 16sqm to me. Definitely, I will chose back this hotel for my next tokyo trip.
Hotel Centurin Akasaka Mitsuke .... Price Fair ... Location very good ... staffs are friendly ......”
Hotel Centurion Akasaka Mitsuke have a good place so manys of Seven Eleven or Family Mart ; so many of resto ( Matsuya 24 hours .... Bar almost 24 hours .... most everthing ... all have goods taste .... ) near with Akaska mitsuke station ( sonif you want to go Ginza , Shinjuku , Shibuya and asakusa ... only 1 line - no need move another line of train of subway ; Rooms are very clean ; Facilities for 3 stars hotel are enough ; prices are Fairly and staff so much helps us and very friendly.
Convienently located close to Akasaka Mitsuke station (exit 10). Walkable to Nagatacho Station. Lots of places to eat nearby incl 24hr shops but also a nightlife scene in the area meaning there alot of drunk etc. May not appeal to those who prefer a quieter scene or if have children. Hotel is clean and has all necessary amenities, our twin bedroom for 2adult and 1 child was spacious compared to others hotels we previously stayed in Tokyo and within price range. Staff were polite but only knew very little english.
It’s very nice hotel that I would like to recomend to my friends. Althought, the room is a little small but everything is clean and tidy. The location is great as it is quite near Akasaka Mitsuke Station where you can go to manywhere in Tokyo by train which is much cheaper than taxi or other types of transports. I have very good impressions with staffs who has expressed professional working attitude as well as excelent assistances to me during my stay at this hotel. I will definitely come back to stay at this hotel for my next business trips and vaccation with family ... GREAT SERVICE !!! 💐👏😍
A wonderful stay at Centurion Grand”
I was very impressed with the hotel and room. It was an extremely comfortable bed, a very clean room, and very luxurious amenities, furniture and appliances. The room was quite small, but so is everything in Tokyo. I did no mind the size. Might be a little tight for a couple, however. They offer free spa amenities and breakfast to all guest. The breakfast was decent, not the best, but it's free and better than nothing. The location is very good as well, and only a 5 min walk to the Akasaka-mitsume metro station. There are many restaurants and small bars in the area, and it is only a few metro stops from the more popular places like Shinjuku and Shibuya. I had a little trouble finding the hotel at first, but locals were very willing to help. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Centurion Grand and would gladly stay here again!
An awsome place to stay in Tokyo.”
Awsome location. 2 minutes walk to Akasaka Mitsuke Station which has many lines to most tourist and shopping areas. Hotel location is well fed with restaurants, fast foods, eateries, cafes, pubs and a handful of convenience stores all within walking distance. Hotel interior is new, clean, comfortable and modern. Wifi enabled in room. Very generous with toilet amenities which included a bath tub. Simple breakfast inclusive. Only downside is size of room is really small which I think most hotels in Tokyo have very limited space.
Best value in central Tokyo”
The family room was HUGE with 2 double beds and loft bed. Lightning fast WIFI in room (though you need to plug in the router yourself and the LAN point is a bit tricky to find: It is at the bottom left corner of the loft bed in the family room). Location is perfect: A very short walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke with Ginza and Marunochi lines of Tokyo metro, which means direct train rides to major stations Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tokyo, Ikebukuro, Ginza and Ueno. Lots of eateries around the hotel that open late. For the price, you can't find a better place in central Tokyo with the same kind of accessibility and room size.
Would stay here again when visiting Tokyo”
The room and bed were big by Tokyo standards. Lightning fast WIFI in room (though you need to plug in the router yourself). Note that staff speak limited English though.
Great location and friendly staff ”
Great location - couple minutes from Akasaka mitsuke station which is connected to a few of the metro lines, including the marinouchi (to Tokyo and Shinjuku stations) and ginza (connected to Shibuya and Ginza stations) lines. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The rooms were a little small, although partly due to the king sized bed (which was very comfortable). The only other downside was that we like our room cool, even when the temperature outside is cool too. The air conditioning here though is slightly based on central heating / cooling. If the central control is set to heating, you will not be able to use the cooling settings. We ended up turning off the unit in our room and opening the windows. However, the noise from the street and the smell of food from the restaurants outside made it a bit of a frustrating arrangement. The windows are double glazed and shut out the noise from the street if closed.
nice hotel with clean room and good location”
We had a great stay in Centurion Hotel Grand Akasaka. My kids enjoy their stay because of freebies such as the Japanese paper crane. The food served during breakfast are also good with free flowing coffee and juice. During New Year's day they served us with Ozoni. It was our first time to taste this New Year soup. The room is clean with very comfortable bed. When we go back to Tokyo we will stay again in this hotel.
Very good location, easy to travel to anywhere”
I've got to say its location is quite convenient and easy to find, 5 mins walk from akasaka mitsuke station. Breakfast is free, yes, unlike what it states in room rate, it's buffet and both in Western style and Japanese, not that great but it's acceptably good. Room is a little bit small, hardly to fit two suitcases but it's Tokyo anyway. Staff is quite responsive and passionate. I would love to go there again if possible. Btw, there's a restaurant called あん庵 （anan） which is quite good, Japanese traditional style and seafood is also freash.
Hotel is just about 5 minutes walk from Akasaka Mitsuke Tokyo Metro Station (Exit 10). Room quite small for 3 guests, but very clean. They don't offer a wide variety of foods for their buffet breakfast but hotel is surrounded by restaurants which are reasonably priced anyway; a number of convenience stores nearby as well. They offer free spa for guests. Very warm staff. Overall, excellent service!
Would definitely stay here again”
I booked this hotel, it was the cheapest option that time (it was last minute booking). I love how the location was very convenience. Less than 5 minute walk to the nearest station. Shinjuku, Ginza, tokyo station are only the same line, only few stations away from Akasaka Mitsuke Station. Lots of restaurants around, few convenience stores. Next time I'm in Tokyo, will definitely stay here again.
dear jessica please accept our greetings and we are highly appreciate the valuable review on us and its become motivation o do more and more.so i believe you had sensational time in here and waiting to serve you again thank you front desk supun
Absolutely amazing ”
This was the first time for my partner and I to go travelling oversea's. We decided to stay in Akasaka for 6nights and we are so glad we did! I do not normally go off Tripadvisor comments as I work in hospitality myself so I know that it is not always honest however I cannot hold back from sending in my amazing experience. We took a chance in booking Centurion Hotel online but we are very glad we did! We had the time of our lives and the hotel/location was definitely a large contributing factor. Probably experienced every single bar/restaurant in Akasaka and were always able to just stumble down the street back home. The staff were lovely and always very friendly (even though we probably made them laugh a little bit). Would definitely reccomend this hotel for younger couples however it would suit everyone!
We are family of 2 adults and 2 young child, the size of the double bed and room is good enough for us. One of the highlight was the onsite male bath is great and female bath is located behind the building (~3 mins on foot). After a tiring day explore Tokyo, the bath helps recharge the battery for next day. The location is very close the Akasaka-Mitsuke Station with lift/escalator access. So no issue for prem or luggage.
Great location, helpful staff and great room”
The second time around at Centurion and it was great. The twin room was more spacious than the 1st time and shower was superb. The staff was helpful at every turn. Being near the Akasaka-mitsuke station was another plus. Superb hotel!
