“Compact Comfort in a Prime Location”

The Centurion Hotel Ueno is a delightful little hotel perfectly situated for exploring the city. Its proximity to the train station is a major plus, making it a breeze to arrive and depart. The hotel is also surrounded by a vibrant array of restaurants and shops, offering endless options for dining and shopping. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room, while compact, was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the room's size does limit its functionality as a workspace, so it's best suited for those looking for a cozy place to rest their head after a day of touring and exploring. Overall, the Centurion Hotel Ueno offers exceptional value for its prime location and friendly service. It's an excellent choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city.

    “Wonderful Stay”

We had an amazing stay at Centurion Hotel Ueno at 2-3-4 Ueno. (Not to be mistaken for Centurion Hotel and Spa). The room was just big enough for two of us. It had a large tv, queen bed, couch, and desk. The beds were firm, but soft. The blanket was super comfortable, fluffy and warm. We had an amazing night sleep. We stayed in the annex and had a window facing the street, but you couldn't hear too much noise outside. I could hear our neighbor snoring loudly for a tiny bit, but other, super quiet! Shampoo and other skin care amenities were provided. And they had amenities to borrow. They helped me with my luggage shipment to my next hotel. There were lots of English speaking staff as well who were super helpful! There is a family mart convenience store basically attached to the entrance. And Lawson, Don Quixote, Ueno park, and multiple stations were within about 5 min walking distance. We would definitely stay again!

“Great Deal for group of 3”

We arrived at the hotel decorated with a halloween theme. There were treats at the reception area. They were giving out candies, lollies, stickers, etc. as you check-in. They even have an activity area, design your own witch hat and a photo area. Love the fun, halloween vibe Room - Room was clean. Beds are neatly made. You have your own lamp and charging outlets in both bunk beds. I appreciate the complete toiletries. You don't need to bring your own. Room size is 13sqm so not enough space for 3 medium-sized luggages. Staff - Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Clearly explained instructions and hotel guidelines for check I/O. Price - We got it as Deal of The Day so price was discounted. But we got more than what we paid for. Location - close to subway stations. Skyliner is also walking distance. Family Mart at the ground floor of annex bldg. Surrounded by restos, drug stores and shops.

“Very nice location close to different public transportation ”

The hotel was nicely located near the Ueno Park very closed by in walking distance. There was a supermarket just downstairs of the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel room was very good size for Japan. We got a queen bed and was able to sleep well with our baby of 9 months. We even had enough space for our luggages. The only negative part was that the hotel lobby was on the other side of where our room was and that on the first floor near the elevator was the smoking room. Each time we returned or left the building we smelled the cigarettes a lot.
