A relaxed place to stay”
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton Langkawi Beach resort. The Garden Suite I stayed in was beautiful and the rest of the hotel was in very good condition. The single reason I would say this is slightly overrated for its 5 stars is because I visited other 5 star resorts on the island and they were utterly stunning by comparison, with landscaped gardens and well thought out design concepts. This aside, the Sheraton Langkawi Beach resort is well located in reasonable (driving) proximity to the airport, Pantai Cenang, various jettys for tours and other attractions. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay”
Never regret on choosing this resort..even there were monkeys disturbing guests during bfast still it is not effect the stars i put. I dont like crowded and noisy place so the location is soooo jusr nice for me..furthermore..langkawi is not too big. Take mostly half an hour to any place is a convenience for me. Plus..i brought along my parents for holiday. They enjoyed the service and place so well. However, the management maybe could take a look on toilet water for room 1137. Its not function well. As well as the mini bar. Apart of that, all superb!! Tq century beach resort for the hospitality..

wonderfully relaxing, beautiful peaceful location”
this was the best hotel/resort experience ive ever had. I dont usually like to spend too much money on hote/ resorts, but this was well worth it. it was extremely peaceful and relaxing. the prices were a bit too over priced for simple items, but i guess that comes with staying at a fancy, peaceful resort. I really enjoyed the pool and pool view of the ocean. the food was delicious. I will definitely stay here again when returning to langkawi.

Sheraton Langkawi Resort has got to be the nicest resort you can get! We stayed in one of the partial view rooms which is very big! The bed is very very comfortable! The shower is nice with strong water flow and nice hot water! The toilet has a washing device, its very efficient and really works! The restaurant serves really nice buffet dinner and the Chimes nightclub has a nice band playing every night! its located in a nice quiet location but still close to the airport and only 20 mins from Cenang beach! Highly recommended!!

Beautiful, Friendly Staff, Great Value”
I would HIGHLY reccommend the Sheraton Langkawi Beach, they have a beautiful infinity pool an beach area, great private villas. There's a huge bathtub and gorgeous bed and lighting. They have an excellent international buffet breakfast that caters to many tastes. We got 3 nights for the price of 2 so it was great deal!

Stayed there for 6 days 5 nights and all I would say is that I would be back again! ”
The pros are all reflected in my ratings and the few issues that we faced is that the resort is pretty old so there isn't much facilities to go around with. Besides the facilities issue, thankfully we had a car and transportation wise as it was pretty convenient. Other than that, I had no other issues and I do really love this place with the scenic view, friendly staffs and the surprising free upgrade of our room, I would definitely be back here again. You will be impressed by the Resort the moment you step in. Beautiful spacious lobby, restaurant and outdoor service areas. Front Desk - All of them speak English. International Travellers need to note that the front desk insists on a Security Deposit of 200 RM while checking in. This was very disappointing. You would not find this information anywhere in their website or even Agoda does not provide this. But i talked my way out of this, i did not pay the deposit. Room - One of the Best Room i have stayed in recently. Spacious and well thought out design and excellent in room facilities. Restaurant - Serves excellent variety at the Breakfast time. Indian vegetarian Food is limited to only two dishes. So Pure Vegetarian eating is a bit of a head ache. Need to travel least 10 KM to find what we need. Wifi - Unfortunately wifi was available only at the lobby & the Pool Area. Rooms ( Only Certain Rooms) did not have wifi in house. Location - For a quiet and relaxed holiday - The best Location For people who love to roam about the island location could be a bit of head ache, as you would have to travel least 10 KM to any of the attractions, where the taxi rides are bit pricey. Overall i would definitely recommend the hotel for all travellers. But if they just fine tune certain things this would be a perfect hotel to stay and enjoy Langkawi.

Peaceful family getaway”
Frankly speaking I was really scared that I might have booked the wrong resort because all the reviews I've read has been giving me such horrible expectations. But the truth was...it's a beautiful hotel...yes it might not be new with latest modern amenities and all...but it's a perfect peaceful hotel in the midst of nature with wonderful service by all staffs right from En Amirul Bahrin at the reception who upgraded us to a wonderful seaview chalet...to the buffet staffs who were so nice and friendly and the ever efficient buggee drivers who were always so quick and efficient eventhough the compound was so huge. Love everything about the hotel...the pool...the small private beach...i have nothing to complaint except that i would gladly come again to this hotel. If quiet, relaxing and peaceful retreat amongst nature you're searching for, then this hotel is for you...

We went to Langkawi for a relaxing stress-free weekend and that is exactly what we got. The staff were extremely friendly from the moment we arrived and the hotel is only a short 10 minute drive from the airport. The rooms were well appointed and clean and the pool area was small but nice, although there was a lot of construction work going on at the pool while we were there. Not the most amazing beach in the world, but with the pool being there also, overlooking the beach, it was ok. All 3 restaurants that we ate in served good food.

Sheraton hotel is very nice.Beautiful Quiet beach resort . It has a wooden elevated walkway along the beach which is excellent . Wild creatures like Big monitor lizards and monkeys can be seen on and off under the walkway or in the woods within the resort vicinity . They are harmless and are nice to watch . Fitness centre has a huge Jaccuzi and sauna bath which is very well maintained . It has both rocky as well as white sand beach . The pool is very well located and gives a lovely ocean view .The only negative is its distance from the main town otherwise it was all positives . Overall my family enjoyed the stay .

An Awesome Holiday”
Our 2 week stay at the Sheraton Langkawi was as good as our first holiday two years ago. The staff, services and facilities are all excellent and wonderfully maintained. The Kid's Club is great for children of all ages but our 5 year old especially enjoyed the afternoon activities with the friendly girls. A birthday celebration was accommodated well with a complimentary chocolate mudcake (delicious) at no extra trouble. The rooms are kept scrupulously clean and are serviced at times to suit your daily activities. The room service was so prompt that you just have time to walk from the phone to the door to collect it! This was our second visit to the Sheraton Langkawi and we returned to the island because of the service and great facilities.

Great location but....”
This is the 1991 Sheraton Langkawi - a great location, with easy access to airport and many other facilities (Pantai Kok, Cenang, geopark etc) - the rooms are very good sized and are still the high comfort you'd expect from a high end sheraton. We stayed there 1 month after it had re-opened under the new ownership of Century - they are working hard to renovate so bear with them and this will become a great place to stay again - in the meantime, its a 3-4* standard in a 5* location

Excellent ”
We were a group of 5 college students taking A little break from studying and we picked the perfect place. The staff was more than friendly and helped us with any of needs such as planning excursions and finding taxi's. The greatest part was that it seemed like we had the whole resort to ourselves there were little people there when we went, probably because it was the off season. The infinity pool was beautiful as well as the swim up bar ( where we spent most of our time). Would recommend century to anyway. Enjoy !

Great Property, need maintenance & repair”
The best part of this hotel is relaxing and peaceful environment away from noisy commercialized Pantai Cenang & Tengah. It's a huge spread out property. The balcony with the room was nice and we spent lot of time there with views of sea and surrounding environment, while enjoying nice sea breeze. The downside is rooms, furniture and facilities which needs urgent maintenance and repair. The small beach areas within hotel is not accessible for swimming due to jelly fish. I feel with proper maintenance & repair this hotel can become one of the top 5 hotels in Langkawi. Breakfast spread was good and staff are attentive.

Sheraton Langkawi is a top notch place to stay. The people who work there , without an exception make the difference. They are courteous and service oriented staff. Their breakfast and dining facilities are world class. All the prices, including room rent, are reasonable. Sheraton is located in a picturesque valley (kind of). I will visit Langkawi and stay at Sheraton again, without any question.
