Great hotels in Bangkok”
It is always a nice experience to come to the Century Park hotel. The check-in and check-out are always very smooth and the personnel is very kind. If you are lucky enough to get a room in high floors you can spend a lot of time just enjoying the sky-line of Bangkok and the hotel is situated well in walking distance from the sky-train, which in my opinion is the easiest and most comfortable way of transportation in Bangkok, as well as the big Pratunam clothing market.
Always a delight to stay at the Century Park”
I've stayed at the Century Park five or six times over the past handful of years, and it's always been the "treat" stay on any visit to Bangkok. I tend to move around and try different hotels and usually reward myself with the pleasant consistancy of the CP for my last couple of days in town, at least. A big breakfast at their fresh and bountiful buffet can carry me though the day, with a light street snack at lunchtime. The staff is skilled and quite gracious, in all departments and at all levels. The rooms are very well maintained and extras such as additional towels and pillows are promptly responded to. The wireless connectivity isn't cheap but IS fast, and a much better deal than in the business center. It's a nice walk to both the nearby park, the Victory monument BTS station and the Baiyoke Tower, where there is a lot of shopping area and several nice dinner choices w-a-y up on top with a great view.
Our stay at the Century Park Hotel”
This was our fifth stay at the Century Park Hotel. Century Park is our first choice of hotel whenever we are in Bangkok. The price is good, the location, for us, is great, the service is good. It is close to the sky train station (Victory Monument), and is walking distance to Pratunam, which is one of our favorite shopping areas.
Our second stay at Century Park Hotel in Bangkok and yet again we enjoyed our stay. From being greeted as we arrived in the Taxi to our departure, everything was perfect. The staff are friendly and most helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. When we return to Bangkok for our next holiday we will definitely stay at the Century Park as we did this time on the first two days and the last two days. You cannot find a better hotel in Bangkok. We visit the city regularly and finding this hotel has made our stay the best yet.
Our stay at Century Park Hotel”
This was our fifth visit to the Century Park. This is our first choice in hotels in Bangkok. This is the best "quality for the price" deal in the city. It is close to the sky train, tons of shopping and eating venues. It is within walking distance to Pratunam, which is one of our favorite shopping areas.
A WELCOME HAVEN IN BUSY BANGKOK”
Century Park Hotel was recommended to us by our son who works in Bangkok and we were extremely pleased with the choice. It was a haven to return to after the excesses of the hectic city with the added bonus of a swimming pool and sunbathing area. Our room was large and clean with excellent bathroom facilities. The choice of food at breakfast is vast and kept us going all day. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus several times daily to the city centre though in fact it is only a short walk to the Victory monument once we found our bearings. We spent 4 nights at the hotel at the start of our trip and were pleased to return there for the last 2 nights.
A HAVEN IN BUSY BANGKOK”
We stayed for a total of 6 nights during a recent visit to Bangkok and we were extremely pleased with Century Park. It is a welcoming haven to return to after the chaos of the city with excellent service at a reasonable price. The Victory Monument skytrain is only one road away for walking although the hotel provides a free minibus shuttle every morning. The bedrooms are clean and large with good bathroom facilities. We were happy to return to this hotel for the final two nights of our trip and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
I always stay here when in Bangkok. I used to stay at a different hotel each visit but have stayed nowhere else after finding the Century Park. The rooms are well appointed and squeaky clean. The bathrooms are fully tiled in marble. There are heavy drapes which effectively darken the room to aid in sleeping. The breakfast is excellent. It is about a 25 minute taxi ride to BKK airport and about a 10 minute walk to the Skytrain. The staff is friendly and efficient. There are several dining options in the hotel and good places to eat nearby.
Century Park Hotel exceeded our expectations. Booked two deluxe rooms — both were clean, spacious, and offered a great view of the busy city. The facilities, particularly the pool area, may be a bit dated but are well-maintained. The CR / toilet in the rooms had no exhaust though and the water heater may get inconsistent at times, but these, for us, are just minor issues. The bed and pillows were super comfy as well. Breakfast buffet, served from 6am to 10pm, was great. The Thai Bacon and Bircher Muesli are my favorites. The bellboys are extra friendly too. Will definitely stay in this hotel again.
great hotel at a great price”
the century park, where i have stayed before, is an excellent hotel for the price. being a country boy, i particularly requested a quiet room and they certainly met this criterion. i didn't eat there in the evening, but the breakfast was excellent, as was the service at all times. the hotel is not particularly handy for the sky train - 10/15 minutes walk - but if you come in from the airport on the rail link a taxi from ratchaprarop station is only baht. about the same price would get you to a sky train station if you didn't want to walk.
we had a very nice stay at century park hotel in bangkok, thanks to agoda for the cheap and very discounted hotel stay.the place was very nice and clean, very near the shopping area and other tourist attractions like grand palace, wat pho and dinner cruise was great and very memorable. had a hard time of communicating bec of their english. people in thailand were friendly and hospitable.except the 2 guys who gave feeds for the pigeons near the grand palace.the hotel rooms and the rest of the stay was excellent.
Century Park Bangkok”
I stayed 1 night in the Century Park. Located in a very busy area of BKK, the taxi driver had some problem finding the entrance. Once inside the staff was extrememly nice and helpful. I was upgraded to a nice room which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are a little old and I had a small problem with the plumbing, but it was fixed prompty. The bathroom was very nice with both a tub and a shower which I liked. The breakfast buffet the next morning was fantastic, with a huge variety of menu choices, there was something there for everyone. The hotel is just a short walk to the BTS at Victory monument or there is free transportation from the hotel at the top of every hour. Overall it was an excellent value for the money and I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Our stay was in the wake of the red-shirt protests, and they had been camped out at the intersection where the hotel is based. They burnt down several buildings (many of them small flats where people would live), but apparently the century park was undamagaed. Damage has been done to the tourist industry though, and this is visible not only in the burnt-out buildings, but also the lack of people around. Many Thais avoid walking around this area at night for fear of the ghosts of people who were killed during the rioting. The hotel was pretty empty, so excellent value for money. Normally we have problems booking for the times we want (my wife and I have stayed there many times now). Definitely a hotel to recommend, far from the gogo girls of sukhumvit, but unfortunately not far from the red shirts when they are in town.
Century Park Bangkok”
The century Park hotel was impressive from the moment we were picked up at the airport until the end of our stay. Greatest selection of breakfast I've ever experienced. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, including warding off potential tuk tuk drivers at hotel door. Hotel was a 20 minute walk to city, but was a nice walk. Hotel provided plenty of services into city, however there was no return. Other hotel amenities - pool, gym, business center were all of high standard and well maintained.
Nice hotel, nice pool”
The food they serve in the restaurants was very expensive for thai norms. The staff is enormous friendly and wants to help. The breakfast that was included with our stay was very delicious and offer everything we needed including fruits and fruit juice. The views from room are magnificient. The hotel is very beautiful. Please use the swimming pool on the hotel, it is placed in garden. Good value for money! Next time we will book the Century Park Hotel definitely again.
pleasant as always”
I would recommend the century park hotel in bangkok for all people visiting the city. I stay at this hotel everytime i visit bangkok. Make sure to book executive rooms in this hotel if possible. If you do this you will have acces to almost private meals at the top of the hotel . Easier check out and free coffea the and soda during the day. I was very impressed about the staff . Always helpfull and very friendly during your stay there. The hotel is very nice indeed, though the rooms could be a bit bigger. It is in a short distance to many attractions in town. I will surely be back next time i visit thailand.
Century Park Great Place”
Wereally enjoyed our stay in Century Park Hotel. A real 5 star hotel but without the pretension of being bigger than it's self. Note a little out of the main part of town, but Taxi's and Tuk Tuk were so inexpecsive made getting around really easy. Really nice rooms and facilities, gym & pool was great. Tour desk and Business Centre Staff were always nice, and plenty of staff on Reception. On of the quickest Room Services I have ever encountered.
Great Hotel - good condition”
we really enjoyed our stay at the century park hotel. the stuff is very helpful if you need support to find a good restaurant or a location to go out! the breakfast was incredible eventhough the restaurant-manager is not the friendlyest woman and if you like to sleep long, you will miss the breakfast, because it is closing at 10am (very early). the hotel is a little far for some people but you can reach everything very well with a cap or tuk-tuk. negative point: no free wifi at the rooms, and it is not possible to book a room for the same conditions as on agoda or your travel agency! furthermore the reception is sometimes little stressed out and not that friendly!
Great Hotel and Service”
The staff at Century Park were very friendly, rooms were large and clean, pool was lovely at the end of a hot day in Bangkok and food was excellent. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, close to the BRT and Airport Rail link. We liked it so much that we changed our reservations for the end of the trip to return there instead of another hotel.
We've stayed at the Century Park a half dozen times in the past five years. It is in a good location near the Victory Monument stop for the Metro System. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation which is a genuine inconvenience. The breakfasts that go with the rooms is particularly good and the dining room has large windows giving one the illusion of dining on a patio. Wireless is provided -- at an unrealistically high price -- in the lobby. The staff is helpful and housekeeping unusually competent. The pool also is nice. A good four star hotel in Bangkok. The best part of the Century Park is the competitive price per room.
