Relaxing and Chill
Great place to relax and chill. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great! It's a bit of a walk from the main area, but it's located in a nice and quiet area away from the busy center.

Ok hotel for a short stay
Was there only for 2 nights, due to the work deadlines. The breakfast was good, and the villa was a bit old but ok for the money you pay. Close walking distance to Krabi town and the beach.

Cha Wan Resort
Staff were the stars of this small boutique hotel. Hotel has all necessary comfort and is well maintained. Breakfast served was of good quality. Highly recommended if happy for a 5 minute short walk into town.

Small friendly resort.
This is a small resort tucked in behind another larger hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the pool area was nice. Our room was lovely but the tap in the bathroom was not working well, the drain in the tub was not functioning and getting hot water from the kettle was like using an old hand pump. While it was a nice stay there is some maintenance required.

Good But Could Be Better
Friendly staff but let down by poor cleaning by house keeping staff in room. Outside very pleasing to look at. Breakfast buffet is a bit limited.

Comfortable stay
I thought the location would be closer to the beach line but I guess it could have been worse. The hotel itself was very nice, the room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was helpful. Can't say anything about breakfast because I didn't have any. I had a local sim card with internet access so I didn't try the hotel's wifi access either. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Very pleasant stay
Though we didn't much love Ao Nang itself, Cha Wan resort was a very nice place to stay. Huge, spacious rooms, a very nice pool, and a good location (just 5 mins walk to the sea and maybe a few mins on from there to the nice restaurants and bars). It seemed to us to be quite a small resort (maybe 15 rooms?) and breakfast was distinctly average but otherwise a good stay.

Small boutique hotel
Staff were the stars of this small boutique hotel. Hotel has all necessary comfort for shrt stay. Breakfast served were of good quality although no other meals were provided. Plenty restaurant around
We had to shorten our stay to 7 days from intended 14 due to work exigencies. Enjoyed every bit our time from day 3 as our A/C started working properly. The inroom safe too had to be changed due to malfunction. Minor hicups but we didn't let that spoil our vacation. I would like to see few addition to the room like a sofa, and some board games for the lazy ones avoiding hot summer sun and a common washing machine. Overall the hotel is excellent and Miss. Phennabha, the manager and her team is very helpful. We found a nice small restaurant little away to the left when exiting the hotel near kloeng meong mosque called Medina. Family run place with homely authentic Thai food. Another place is on the same route more closer to the hotel run by Cedric. There is a market right opposite the restaurant where we used to buy fresh fruits. Definitely choose to stay at Cha Wan next time in Krabi.

Lovely room, shady balcony, fabulous bathroom.
Consists of 5 separate 2-storey buildings housing 10 rooms set in a quiet location away from tbe main tourist street. I'd requested an upstairs room but we got no.5 on ground floor with fish pond by the entrance which was actually very nice and cool. Room was large, beautifully clean and smelt divine, and the bathroom was stunning! Jasmine and frangipani bushes scent the air and there's a small swimming pool with 8 sunbeds though the water is really too warm to be refreshing. Staff are very friendly and helpful and an iron/ironing board organised from reception meant I could iron our washing before moving to our next place. Our only criticism is that the mattress (our 8th in 3 weeks) was hard to the point of being uncomfortable and we like firm beds! Other than that, our stay was excellent an
