We stayed for a week in a 1 bedroom chalet which was very comfortable, well equipped and heated up quickly in the cold weather.

Excellent location for for a cycling base”
We used the Chalets Lumineux as our base for 5 days of cycling in the Bright area. Right on the rail trail and approx. 2km ride into town. Easy access to all of the cycling attractions in the area (Buffalo, Falls Creek, Hotham etc). Very quiet location, so easy to get a good nights rest after a long day in the saddle.

Our stay was only for one night but I have to say that we had absolutely everything one would find in their own home - although we did not make full use of our surroundings - what we found with our chalet was over & above our expectations - on arrival the owner was warm & friendly & we highly recommend Chalets Lumineux to fellow travellers - just a little out of town 1.5 kilometre's - it is worth the money [[[ thank you for the '' Lindt Chocolates '' ]]] just another little added touch!!! Would we stay here again '' YES '' we would not hesitate.

Comfortable rooms, although a little cramped. Good amenities, great location and a great atmosphere that captures the beauty of Bright in Winter. Staff were friendly. The four-star rating is deserved but the room fell slightly short of expectations. I would recommend Chalet Lumineux, although I have not explored many other places in the area. A genuine chalet experience but not luxurious.

Lovely setting, thoughtful accommodation and customer-oriented service in a bed and breakfast made this a delight. The cabin arrangement instills the lodger with a sense of what it's like to live in Bright -- even offering a washing machine to make the ongoing trip more comfortable.

Review of Chalet Lumineux”
The Chalet was compact and it would suit somebody jockey sized. It wasn't disabled friendly meaning a couple of big-ish steps into the chalet. It contained plenty of sugar sachets but only 2 sachets of coffee and 3 tea bags, however there was plunger coffee, in the galley style kitchen. Also, there were approx. 15 DVD's available to view in the chalet. The TV reception for some channels was not worth viewing. At one point, we didn't have water or electricity due to a storm but Julie was doing her best by providing water for drinking etc (Julie has gravity fed water). Also, Julie found a generator for our chalet but the power came back on in a couple of hours. All in all we would go back due to cleanliness, location, quietness and providing most things we require (e.g. BBQ) however it is a little expensive.

Pros. Quite close to bright city. Clean specious and comfortable. The hostess filled the kitchen with all the spices , oil, washing powder etc. and we didn't have to buy anything. Property is very clean and luxurious

Very pleasant with a helpful accommodating host. When our toaster didn't work, she obtained another one, for example. However, we would prefer a larger cabin next time.

We rented two adjacent chalets just after Christmas. While they are small, they are spotlessly clean and well appointed. Having two separate rooms was ideal for privacy. The view overlooking the golf course was great and there are walking/riding tracks all around. The Owner/Manager was also great. Highly recommended for the price.
