Excellent Hotel”
After three nights on Koh Chang we moved across to Koh Kood. Koh Chang was fine, but is starting to show some strains of mass tourism. Koh Kood has not yet succumbed and is quite pristine. Let's hope it stays that way, but we heard talk of a new pier being built in order to allow tourist vehicles on the island. That would not be a good idea as it would turn this mostly untouched island into just another low quality destination for the masses. The hotel was excellent and we enjoyed our stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the facilities clean and inviting. Bombyx, named after the silk moth, is the bar/restaurant on the beach and is very nice. The food and drink is not expensive, even by Thai standards. We have three teenagers and one pre-teen who wanted more excitement than Koh Kood can offer, but we were just fine with the relaxed atmosphere. We will come back to the hotel again soon and will stay longer than three nights.

Perfect weekend getaway with bae”
Cham’s house was the perfect escape from Bangkok for me and my partner. It’s definitely out of the way, which probably weeds out some less capable tourists and makes for a pleasant stay once you arrive. The staff at Chams were helpful and quite friendly, not subservient or pretentious which was so pleasant. We were upgraded to a villa which was impressive for the price. We never felt we needed to leave Chams during our stay on the island. With a nice pool, tasty restaurant and bar with reasonable prices, manicured beach, free kayak rentals and snorkeling within walking distance with some exotic fish and coral, we were quite pleased to stay put. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and hope to return again in the future!

Brand New”
The hotel at a year old is still being built. Overall we enjoyed this hotel. Rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable. Individual remote controlled a/c does it's job well. Lobby and beach restaurants are excelllent. Beautiful beach, killer sunsets. Stangely the pool was built at the lobby level of the resort instead of down the hill at the beach which makes it almost useless. Pier arrival and access roads to the hotel are not for the faint of heart. The tide level in the afternoon when we arrived required a short step climb onto the pier but bags were handled by boat and beach staff. Cons: Internet reception was lousy except near the lobby and beach restaurant. Strange since they are equipped with high definition tv reception. The hotel like most of the hotels in Koh Kood is isolated from what little there is to do on the island. No nightlife to speak of. We rented a hotel moterbike for two days to see the island and it was well worth it. A note of caution however, I have been riding all types of motorcycles for forty years and still the rutted dirt "road" from the hotel to the "highway" was was a challenge for me with two of us on board. Part of the island's roads are not paved and the ones that are are very narrow. Use extreme caution, riding here the roads take a toll on the bikes. We got a flat tire going down a hill and barely skidded into a motorbike repair shop. My girlfriend is Thai so we got fixed for 5 bucks and were on our way 20 minutes later. Rustic might be a good way to describe the few villages and beautiful waterfalls. There are a few police posts and even a small hospital with an ambulance but I would advise being in good health before coming here to avoid a medical evac for anything serious. At night you are stuck at the resort with it's excellent restaurant. Even I wouldn't venture out on that road at night on a motorbike which is also against their policy. Not that there is anyplace to go. Overall good experience for 4-5 days max.

A fantastic relaxing beachside resort.”
We had a really enjoyable stay at Cham's house on the lovely unspoilt island of Koh Kood. Staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the lovely resort hostess 'Barbie' who was a really lovely lady and attended to all our requests with a friendly smile. When we were shown to our room, we were surprised and delighted to find a beautifully decorated bed with exotic flowers and 'towel art' lovebirds, exotic flower bouquet, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. In the bathroom, the bath had been run with floating petals too. (I had mentioned it was our wedding anniversary on booking!) Thank you Cham's House!

Fantastic Stay at Cham's House”
Koh Kood is truly the Maldives of Thailand. The water is so clear, there are corals, fish, beautiful rocks and the beach is just truly wonderful. We enjoyed Cham's house in various dimension; first, the decoration is very authentic, inspired by Thai silk, the staff were fantastic and anticipate the needs from the customer very well. The food was amazing, despite how much we love Thai food, we really appreciate that western food (Salmon Pizza) was superb! overall, it was a great trip and we will surely return! highly recommend for family and people who love quietness and nature !!

Cham is not Charm”
I went to Cham's house on 24-27 feb 2012, i found it on intranet and it looks great in the pictures and read info from Cham's official website with trust of brand which we used to stay in Putharacsa, Hua Hin before. During my stay, i have some comments and would like share my experiences with Cham for the whole 3 days. Firstly, I booked the room there on late Feb because it stated in the website at the beginning of Jan 2012 that soft opening period is from 16 jan to 15 feb 2012, so I assume that after the soft opening on 15 Feb, all facilities should be almost completed but i found that most of accommodations and facilities such as swimming pool, restaurants, are not available yet and I also asked Cham’s house on Facebook about the hotel main pool, they said it is expected to be completed on around mid of April. They also said will contact me shortly but till now still no any call from Cham’s house. All I can do was to follow the website instructions to go to Cham’s house by taking siriwhite boat services to Koh kood, when we arrived at nearby hotel port which used as a temporary port for Cham’s house. There is no Cham’s house staff stand by to pick up us at the port like they didn't realise our visit. The staff of the hotel nearby have to contact Cham’s house staff for us to pick up the luggages. Comparing with the previous 4 or 5 hotels that the boat stopped to drop off some tourists. They normally standby and wait for their guests. When I arrived at Cham reception area, the reception girl told us about the upgrade to pool villa. We has not been told much about the resort room, facilities in the room. Just my opinion, checklist and dry run session with the manager to ensure all the necessary information been communicated to guests.

Excellent location, super friendly staffs, clean rooms”
I've stayed in this hotel already twice. This is like the only choice for me and my family for Koh Kood. The foods are super delicious, and the staffs are all super friendly and helpful. We had a nice time staying at Cham's House Resort and will always go back for our next stays. The only little tiny irritation that I would like to mention about is the wifi for the building 3 has quite a weak signal. It'd be great if that'd get fixed. But everything else was just great. Keep up the good work.

Great relaxing hotel with a great location ”
I will stay again at Chams house... Koh Kood is a really beautiful island to stay at... yes internet isn't that great there but why is this so important when you are relaxing ....i just hope Koh Kood doesn't end up the same way as over commercialized as other thai islands...

Sweet short stay”
Stumbled upon this property while we were riding our bikes and was amazed with the views and private villas. Next thing we did was to book one night stay at one of their tropica villa with private pool/jacuzzi. Service was good and same goes for bed and pillows. Except the toilet where there is no ventilation and it can really get very hot during the day. Will I come again? Yes i will and this time will want to get the ocean view. This place is good for relaxing. Unless u know how to ride a bike, it is quite far to some places. In short, no regrets staying in Cham’s House.

A remote escape from the rest of the 🌏”
Koh Kood takes a little longer to get to than a lot of the Thai islands but it's 100% worth it! Cham's House was a great spot to spend 3 nights on the island and you are treated to a beautiful private beach front. Free rental of canoes and snorkels was a nice touch. The staff were always a pleasure to interact with.

Excellent”
Cham's House is a lovely place with its private beach. It's not really easy to go around without motorbike since the resort is located at the end of Koh Kood towards Cambodian border. However facilities at the resort are just more than enough. I really enjoyed my first time SUP here. All staffs were very nice and helpful. The service is extraordinary. Perfect place to chill.

Beautiful hotels with beach front”
My first time in Koh Kood, very impressive with the hotel, we traveled as a group of 4, got the connecting room, they are very well equipped with free mini bar and espresso machine which we didn't expect. Living here 2 nights are too short. Food in both restaurants are nice even it is pricy, staff in the restaurant are nice and friendly. But hotel staff are not so friendly and the way they work are so slow as we always have to wait when we requested for something. During our stay, the house keeping is not impressed at all, they are not consistent in term of refill stuff the amenities / clean the room, and we have to wait when we requested for something. Nevertheless, in general this hotel is very nice and we all like it very much, we want to go back again.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
Everything is wonderful. The hotel is located on the south west side of Koh Kood island. When you get to the Resort, you will feel wonderful at your first sight. The room is large, the bathtub is also large, and the room is new, that make me excited. I love it.

Very nice Hotel”
The only really negative point was, that we had to lock our room from inside with a spoon so, that our kid could not open it (it was a pool villa), the normal locking mechanism was easy enough for our 2 year old child to open. Besides that, there were some small minus points mostly because of the facilities that are not so easy on an island I guess. In general an excellent Choice if you want to visit Koh Kood.

3 day break”
My second trip down to Koh Kood, and it's truly the Maldives of Thailand. No litter, emerald crystal blue water and lovely snorkelling. We stayed at Chams house based on a friends recommendation. Overall it was a pleasant stay. My only gripe would be the level of customer service, which was pretty non existent from quite a few of the staff hanging around! ON one occasion we had asked for fresh coconuts, they had run out, given the entire island was one big coconut farm it was difficult to understand why they had ran out! so i walked over to the adjacent hotel and bought 3! The food was mediocre at best, and breakfast no really special attention made. I would stay again as it has a fabulous beach and snorkelling.

Relaxing, Quiet and Private”
Chams House Koh Kood has a nice private beach so plus point, several sea activities for guests and it’s free of charge. All snacks and drinks in the room are free as well, everything was nice in the tropical pool villa. However, the maintenance staffs and reception trainee should be more oriented with service training. Very nice housekeeping and restaurant staffs. Had some issues with the room but eventually they changed a new room for us.
