"We stayed at this hotel because of the access to public transit, and the free hotel van to downtown Madrid, and the airport. What we did not expect is the architectural features of the hotel It's rather like an art museum, with different themes on different floors. While the rooms themselves are lovely, with wifi an "interesting" bathtub (on the "Star Wars" floor) it is a classy joint. It's spotlessly clean as well. We included the breakfast buffet in our package, and though a little pricy, I would have to give it five stars. The food is very good, with great variety I don't think you'll be sorry if you stay here on your next Madrid trip. While it is not in central Madrid, a very short walk will put you at the nearby Metro stop. After that, you can really go anywhere in Madrid, though the hotel will drop you off downtown as well. This is one of those hotels that you will remember for the rest of your life. It is quite unique, and quite reasonably priced at the time of year we visited. "

"Lovely room, very helpful staff at the front desk. Pricy coffee and pastry for breakfast...10Euros! which I found out later that was wayyyy too much! So no more getting breakfast at the hotel.. also would have been good to know there was construction next door that sounded like they were jackhammering right above me....my first morning was after 24 hrs travel with no sleep, so would have been nice to sleep in a bit, if I had known I could have used ear plugs! So be wary and ask about this before you book! "

"We stayed here after getting the overnight sleeper train from Lisbon. We arrived early in the morning and staff were happy to check us in early. The overnight train came into Chamartín station, so this hotel was really easy and convenient- it's literally located in the station complex. We were only in Madrid for one night and it was easy to use the metro to get into town and to the airport the following day. The room was lovely, with lots of space and nice lighting - we were on the 5th floor and treated to a twinkly view of the city in the evening. We tried the breakfast the morning in which we were leaving for the airport - €12 for adults and half that for under 11's; it was a really big comprehensive buffet spread - bread, pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit and cooked food - to name just a few. We are vegetarian and there was lots available to us. Staff were friendly and approachable. We would definitely stay here again."
