      Free Spa Everyday”
Hot spring, Huge room, Comfortable bed
It is quite a decent hot spring hotel, with lifts and free spa (hot spring) after 5pm. We never dine in the hotel, because local restaurants are just within walking distance. A 7-eleven is just across the street. The hotel is beside a stream, and you hear river flows the whole night, white noise that helps you to sleep well, especially after a good soak in the hot spring. Jiao Xi is like a town built on a pool of hot spring, you see free hot spring every where for people to dip in their feet, by the road side, in the park. Even when you have your noodles (Le Shan Ramen) or a cup of tea (No 9) you can choose to dip your feet into the hot spring.

Hotel is abit Old but still Good!”
Very friendly staffs, feels really homely.
The hotel is rather old but the facilities and staff are still awesome! The price is really reasonable for our budget and we are also given vouchers to visit a nearby hot spring for free! As for people at my age, we always sleep late and don't wake up too early, thus we always miss our breakfast! The hotel staff offered to send us sandwiches and soya bean drinks every morning throughout our stay! Really recommended hotel!

      Relaxing
Although the hotel look old, the room is spacious and the view is good. I like the veggie breakfast, with light food and congee. Soya bean milk is fresh. Bed is a bit hard but good for my back support. Beddings are clean and so do all facilities. Location is convenient and close to some tourist spots e.g. public hot spring park. The hotel operators are nice and they try to offer me many practical sightseeing tips. I like the town, it is so peaceful and people are nice.

      Great staff but ok hotel”
      Huge rooms, amazing breakfast
Hotel is old and really needs upgrading. However, we still enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and beds huge. They were really hard though but I found most beds in Taiwan hard so I don't hold it against them. Staff were also very helpful and kind. They actually gave us a lift to the train station in the morning even though it was really nearby as they saw that we had 3 large bags and 3 kids to juggle. We were given spa vouchers for a nearby hotel that was much better than the spa at the hotel. Had a great time there esp since it was cold and rainy when we got there. The sandwiches they gave for breakfast were amazingly delicious! My kids inhaled all of them including the picky eater. Easy to walk around town as the town was quite small. It's also quite easy to find. Exit from the train station, walk straight all the way to the end of the road. Turn left about 50m and you're there.

Good location and value, but a bit run-down.”
The hotel itself is about a 15 minute walk from the Jiaoxi Train Station, and about another 10 walk to Tangweigou Park. The room we stayed in is quite large for the price we paid. For breakfast, they charge an extra 80 NT and the selection doesn't seem that good so we ate out. The basement hot spring, though spacious and freely accessible to guests until 10:30pm, are quite old and seemingly run-down. Overall, not bad for the price if you're not looking for a major luxury stay.

Old facilities, no bath tub, slow hot water, lack of maintenance”
I won't go to this hotel in my next trip due to its lack of mindful maintenance; for example, the drinking water boiler didn't have the proper electrical outlet to plug in, and the refrigerator were not plugged in upon our entering the room. My experience on April 30, 2017 is: old facilities, no bathtub in my 2 beds room, slow hot water, lack of maintenance. Also be very clear about your reserved room because the front desk might give you smaller room than that you have reserved; I need to remind, after being told that I had a 1-bed room, the front desk to verify my reservation to get my originally reserved 2 queen bed.

clean room, close to train station / centre
This is an old but reasonably well maintained hotel (all things being relative). The room was quite spacious for the price, but again rather old (but it didn't matter). There was some confusion when I arrived as they didn't seem to have my booking, and were reasonably polite about it. I didn't get to try to hot springs so can't comment on them. Tip: there's a fantastic, healthy (all vegan) cake / coffee shop next door.

We are the only couple using the big place every evening. It is clean and come with different kind of massage. Water is clean. The breakfast was delivered to our room. Delightful stay”
Hot springs spa in the basement, large room, easy access from train station
I had a one-night stay at the Champagne Hotel on October 31st of 2014 (a Friday night). The hotel seems to be an older mid-range hotel that has been well-maintained and remains in good condition. The bed mattress was extremely firm (typical of Taiwanese hotel mattresses), almost like sleeping on a tatami mat. The staff were gracious and friendly. An older gentleman on the staff spoke English. The hotel is a very short walking distance from the Jiaohsi Train Station. It is quite close to the various hot springs parks and attractions in Jiaohsi, but it is not right in the center of the activities (where the noise and traffic is more intense); it is instead located in an area that is relatively quiet. There is a fine western-style pasta restaurant (NuPasta) just a few meters north of the hotel. If you are taking the Jiaohsi tourist shuttle bus to any more distant locations (e.g., hiking on the Holy Mary Trail, as I was), there are shuttle bus stops quite close to the hotel, and the staff will help you figure out when and where to go to catch the bus. The hot springs spa in the basement of the hotel is lovely, with windows bringing in fresh air from outside, a range of nozzles and spouts to spray water or bubbles at you, and good temperatures (neither too hot nor too cool). Everything was quite clean, even by American standards what I saw of the hotel was clean, but by Taiwanese standards this was very clean, and by Mainland Chinese hotel standards this place was exceptionally clean. I had a special internet deal for the hotel with Agoda, and paid only about 1320 NT$ for a night (about $44 US), and this extremely good bargain may have biased my review to be more positive. I would like to return to the hotel the next time I'm in Jiaohsi, and I recommend it as an exceptionally good choice for affordable, non-luxury accommodations in the area.

It's far to walk from the train station. Fun hot spring playground but steam room was not working. Will be better if they can open the hot springs area much early. Had some problems with Wifi in room but the staff managed to solve the issue :) Room is big. Breakfast is so-so.

      convenient, value for money, spa
My checked in to the hotel room was fast and easy. The hotel room was big and with the busic toileteries. The plus point that you could have the hot spring water bath in your room. If you have more privacy, and you could do the bath at anytime. Not only that, the bath tub was big enough for you to sink your body in. The breakfast was also a busic chinese one, that was good for me. The hotel staff were all very kind, and they even helped me to bargain for the daily tour fair from the taxi company. The public pool hot spring pools in this hotel were great and big, they even have the steam and sauna room. The hotel is old but hotel room rate was value for money. I will definitely come back again.

      Poor Hotel and Spa”
      Regrettable
The only plus point is that it is located between Jiaoxi train station, Wufengqi & Jiaoxi hot spring park. other negative points will be listed below. 1. No early check in allowed (i can understand if it is fully booked) 2. upon checking in, the staff keep requesting that we pay more to change to different types of bigger rooms. highlight KEEP requesting. 3. air con and its remote control was spoilt. i didn't make a fuss out of it as the weather is quite cooling. 4. spa was dirty and noisy. In summary, please avoid this hotel.
