Clean and great value for money”
A great example for not thinking you need to pay huge amounts of money to get a clean and good quality hotel in Orlando. We’ve stayed in higher end hotels and yes they may be more updated but Champions World Resort is bar far the best value for the money in Orlando. Don’t expect 4*+ standard but you’ll be very pleasantly surprised. They are constantly cleaning, touching up paint to keep it the best it can be. Very, very pleased with this resort!! Only downside if I was over critical would be the late night pool sound from the outdoor poolside movies each night but after long days at the theme parks we slept through it, maybe ask for apartments away from that reception area if your a light sleeper or prefer to get an early night, but again, lovely resort!!👌
Just What My Family Needed”
The staff at this Resort went above and beyond the normal that I have seen in hotels in a long time. In the times when I travelled for a living, I expected to receive certain perks, because we were paying for them, but I never expected to receive the treatment that was afforded my wife and daughter when they arrived. They were tired and exhausted, my wife's cell phone went on the blink, she could not call me. She was in Florida and I was in Oregon. They let her use the phone to call me at home, no charge, She was able to check in early, no extra charge. Between being stranded in Denver, rained on in Disney World, Champions World Resort was a LIfe Saver. Everything was very near, stores, shuttle to Disney, family amenities. Highly Recommend the staff, Maria, Stephanie, Adam. They restore my faith in the Hospitality Industry. A++++++++++
We found Champions World Resort a great place to stay. Employees were courteous and friendly. Had a slight problem with the toilet plugging and they were promptly there to take care of the situation. My grandson loved swimming in their many pools and enjoyed the movie by the covered pool, and also enjoyed walking in the nature park . Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and overall a great value for the price we paid for the rooms. Highly recommend this place.
Warm pool, clean room”
The place is large with three pools and at least 5 buildings. First thing I noticed walking into the room was the tiles. I like a hotel that gets rid of the filthy old rugs. The room was recently remodeled with plain finishings and a large flat screen. It was a few minutes further west on 192 than I usually stay but plan to make this my place to stay for each bimonthly Disney world visit. I still arrived at Disney world in less than 30 minutes. The beds were clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but I spend my time in the parks. Well worth the price, which was remarkable low! I even got a call from the front desk after we moved in to the room asking if we were happy with it. A definite yes!
Great place at an even greater price!!!!!”
My family and I had some emergency repairs take place at our home and have been staying at this property for a week so far with another 2 weeks reserved and all I can say is that I’m pleased with the amenities at this price point. Our family are owners at westgate and while Champions World Resort doesn’t have those type of amenities, we also don’t have to pay 120 a night. For the money this place can’t be beat and I highly recommend.
I love this place. ”
I love this resort. Been coming here for four years now. It's an older facility but they keep the grounds and gardens spotless and groomed. 3 pools, jacuzzi, nature trails, tiki bar and movies every night under the covered main pool. Close to everything. Disney, Outlet malls, Orlando Icon, Disney Springs, tons of restaurants and much more! Staff is very couteous. Fantastic bang for your $
Exceeded my expectations! ”
I was just hoping for a clean, safe, affordable place to sleep while meeting up with my friend from NY who was staying on Disney property (I live 2 hours from Disney). I enjoyed my stay so much that I added on an extra night! I will definitely be back again soon! This is the kind of place that you could “vacation” at without having any other plans. They have 3 great pools and all the trimmings. When I was checking in, the very nice desk manager told me to dial 0 on my phone if I wanted to use a bonfire 😱 they will light me one and let me know when it’s ready for me! I was impressed! Such a fun extra that they offer! Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Being that I was staying alone, I thought I might get bored... not at all! I talked with other guests at the pool and had a great time! I wish I had more time to enjoy the resort. Next time I will! I read reviews before booking, book this place!!
Would stay here again”
I would recommend Champions World Resort to anyone who is on a budget but would like amenities. Clean room, nice pools, nice landscaping. I would stay here again.
Very good stay”
Agoda informs that all tax are included when you make the order, but it is not. I paid the resort tax at check-in (not a fault from Champions Word Resort). The staff was good and helpful. They gently given an upgrade because of the resort tax disarray. We stayed at room 367, that was clean, comfort and noiseless. The hotel has a nice localization, however a bit far from International Dr.
Fantastic, family friendly, clean.”
We came to stay in between our days at Disney and we were extremely pleased. Its not far from all the parks but far enough that it didn't ruin the suprise for my 4yr old. The one covered pool was closed. However,, that didn't bother us because we were closer to the pool with the tiki bar and dealing with a 4yr old at Disney well of course you needed some adult beverages to relax after . The pool was very nice and not crowded, so my husband and daughter enjoyed that all 3 nights we were there. The only downside was the tiki bar closed at 9:30 on Saturday but the inside bar was still open. Rooms were nice and big. There were some damage to the couch stains and rips on the cushions but the pull out was fine. The king size bed was comfy. We did ask for more pillows to which the staff had up to us in under 5 minutes. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be using it again in the future.
GREAT value with friendy staff”
Stayed 4 nights . Spacious clean older motel rooms with restaurant, bar and decent breakfast buffet. All staff very welcoming and friendly. Nowhere could I find a room for this extremely shockingly low price (on Agoda) so close to Disney parks. We had to use bus system one day and we had to bus to another park to get back to our motel but if your a park hopper you could make this work. We did hear people talking outside who were coming home as late as midnight from parks, though after first long day at Disney we were too tired to let outside noises bother us. I think when our heads hit the pillow we just passed out. If your on a super tight budget 'go for it!' Room had working microwave, small frig, hair dryer, plenty of nice clean towels and a heated pool too if we only had time but saw others really enjoying it. The shower had the wider space bar with tons of pressure and all the really hot water you wanted! That alone was seriously worth the price of the room.
Great deal! ”
We arrived at the resort around 4:30 pm and were promptly addressed upon walking into the lobby. The lobby was clean and wonderfully decorated for Christmas. The front desk staff was phenomenal and I had a great exchange with the gentleman who assisted me. Regretfully, I did not get his name. I booked two rooms and fully expected to be placed apart due to my forgetting to make note that we wanted to be in close proximity to one another. Not only were the rooms close, they were right next door to one another. The rooms were spotless and the a/c was already cool when we entered. Our rooms were in the back building and it was incredibly quiet. There was plenty of parking and the grounds are really well maintained. Every staff member that I came in contact with greeted me and gave us well wishes on our Disney vacation. There was some noise throughout the evening but for a Saturday that is to be expected. None of the other guests were overly rude or loud. The resort is centrally located with PLENTY of food and grocery options. We will definitely stay again!
I loved everything about the place. The office staff was great. The location was a little far from Orlando, but everything was still available in the area. The room looked clean and organized, but a little dusty on the floor, they came and cleaned it the next day, and everyday I was there after that they swept and mopped. Most of the cleaning ladies were nice, one of them had a little attitude, not sure why. But this is minor stuff and the place was awesome. I loved all the swimming areas and the atmosphere, also that beautiful little forest prepared in the back. Cool stuff!
Good base hotel for disney. Cost roughly 10$ in uber trips , with a free shuttle running also. Food was good, bar drinks prices were reasonable. Within walking distance of a fuel garage, McDonald's, subways, dominoes and a chinese. Rooms a bit dated and the downfall was not enough storage space for clothes for 4 of us but minor issues when you're out all day.
Excellent service at an excellent price ”
We stayed at this property for our honeymoon trip, and I couldn't have been more pleased. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean upon arrival, and everyday that we returned back from the theme parks or out in the city we always came back to an exceptionally clean and fresh smelling room. Beds were made perfectly, sheets changed, fresh towels, fresh packs of coffee and cream and sugar packets. All the little things that just makes your trip a whole lot better than when you have to go running to the office to get things the maid could have left. I definitely appreciated the little things that others may have overlooked. The property is beautiful, especially the nature trail. Love the beach area with the fire pit and the hammocks. It's a great way to relax after a day of fighting the madness of either Disney or Universal during the summer. Three heated pools so even though the entire hotel was booked up it was never too crowded. One of the pools is even covered allowing you to avoid too much sun or still go swimming during a light rain. I didn't have any kids with me since it was my honeymoon, but I loved how they have a dive in movie every night at the covered pool so the kids can swim and watch a movie at the same time. They have a restaurant and lounge on site, tiki bars by 2 of the pools, a gift shop and small convenience store, a fitness room, a computer room, discounted attraction ticket booth, and free shuttles to all 3 major area theme parks. It's an incredible value for the price. Definitely check it out. You won't regret it.
For the money it was a great place to stay. The room was clean and so were the grounds. There was plenty to do on grounds, especially for a family. Close to food and entertainment. We got a Lyft ride every day to Disney and the combined cost there and back was cheaper than parking my car and walking like 2 miles to the park, so that was a nice plus. My only complaints are: They played music at the pools loud until 11 pm and I had to call 2 nights to ask for it to be turned down. I could hear it over the tv. The room smelled musty. I was told that is common in Florida, but it wasn’t pleasant
Very worth it!”
We traveled as a family with little children and we were very pleased with the location and safety. Room was nice and well maintained. Tv was small, but we didn't have time to watch it much anyway. We loved the covered pool and it was very clean. House keeping did a great job and cleaned our room very well daily. We drove to Clearwater beach, Lego Land and Disney world. It's close to many places and many retail stores, restaurants and grocery stores. We were very pleased and will definitely come back. The staff was amazing, customer service gets a 100% from me and my family. Just one small thing the restaurant needs a pool site menu. P.S. We drove from Texas.
Inexpensive, spacious and convenient”
I have stayed here a few times and have not been disappointed. The staff is extra nice and there are all the amenities I need while I am on the road for business. Not loving the resort fee - but unfortunately all hotels have jumped on that bandwagon. I like quiet so always get a room away from the pool area which can get loud. Rooms are comfortable, have everything you need. My suggestion to housekeeping though is to CHILL OUT on the Clorox cleaner! I literally had to buy an air freshener to take out the ammonia smell. We get it - you cleaned! You don't need to overdue the odors! Seriously it was very overwhelming and unnecessary. Other than that one housekeeping complaint I had another great stay there and will do so again. Maybe next time they will switch to less odorous cleaning fluids!
Any time we go to Orlando we stay here. We tried a few other hotels but were always disappointed so now its always Champions. Love the pools and the hot tub. Great location.
Use to enjoy staying at this hotel”
My family and I stay at this hotel on a regular basis. I believe they recently changed ownership as all the front desk staff were totally different, which is sad because I really liked the people I was use to seeing. The gentlemen that checked me in barely spoke english and he did not understand alot of what I was saying to him. If you are going to deal with customers at a hotel in Orlando you should be familiar not only with Spanish but also English fluently in my opinion. Also, the bedding on the bed my daughter was going to sleep in has a blood stain on it which means the sheets and comforter are not changed after every guest stay which is pretty gross and Im pretty sure should not be happening. There was dirt on the bathroom floor that I cleaned up myself as well. I am someone that usually never complains about a hotel room that doesnt cost alot of money to stay in, I am fully aware of what I paying for. However basic cleanliness should be provided. Please hold your cleaning staff accountable and make them do a better job. Overall, I reallylly have enjoyed staying at this hotel in the past and would like to continue in the future as we go to Disney alot as a family on the weekends and need a place to stay that is reasonably priced.
