“The quality is at a level that justifies twice the price; it's an excellent value for money.”
I honestly didn't expect much since it was 6,600 yen and coincided with the Lunar New Year, but it was a very clean and comfortable hotel. It has the quality of a Japanese business hotel. There's free tea and coffee, and the amenities like slippers are well-provided. The bed has a sturdy mattress about 20 cm thick, allowing for a good night's sleep. There are windows, a washing machine, and convenient tea and coffee services. I think this price near Taichung Station is quite a bargain. The lobby also has Wi-Fi and charging spots, so you won't have trouble killing time after checking out. I would definitely like to use it again if the price is low. Wi-Fi wasn't always stable, so it's best to be prepared for that when staying. It occasionally wasn't usable, but for the most part, it worked well.

“Clean, Comfortable, Great Value”
A clean, comfortable stay in a convenient location with excellent value for money. The room size was a real plus, while the bathroom and amenities were also highlights. Reliable Wi-Fi and the view added to the experience, and the facilities were all maintained. Friendly, helpful staff rounded things out and made the stay easy to recommend.

“The highest”
In December 2025, I stayed for 8 nights. The price was cheap, so I used it without much expectation, but it was the best. First, the location. It’s just a short walk from Taichung Station. I'm in my 60s, but I had no problem moving with a large suitcase. Daily bed-making and replenishment of bottled water were provided. If you need more water, you can refill it on the first floor. There are washing machines and dryers available, which is convenient since they are within the hotel. If you're alone, you can open your suitcase in the room. Access to the bus stop to the suburbs is good. However, it’s somewhat far from Taichung's new urban center. There were times when I was bothered by noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. After checking out, there’s a tool to weigh your suitcase, and the staff will lend it to you if you ask. The route guidance from Google Maps from Taichung Station takes a longer way, so it’s better to head directly towards the hotel on the map. The cleaning staff, whom I ran into every morning, were considerate and made me feel warm.
