Home away from home”
Stayed here last year. We love coming back to Changi Cove for a stay and we always leave the place feeling refreshed. Never came across another hotel like this since and i love many things about it. This time around they gave us a room quite far off and on the highest floor. It can be quite a walk to the connecting building if you're coming with the elderly so just let the lovely staff know in case you have a preference. Only hiccup during this stay was that the bathroom had a bad smell. However, we decided not to change rooms as it was late and we got comfortable on the swing by then. Not to worry as we didn't encounter this the previous stays. Perhaps looking from hindsight, i should've changed rooms and would recommend you to do so as well as the memory can really stick with you. Breakfast is always tasty and more than made up for it; it's the simplicity in the spread that makes me feel good. It's a humble spread compared to the big hotel chains but seriously more than enough for what you need at Breakfast. No extravagant or endless buffet "food going to waste" kind of situation going on here. Very responsible kind of feeling you get as a patron, good job Changi Cove! Another gem worth sharing is the Recreation Room, where we normally hang out after breakfast. Can't ask for a better spot for hot coffee, chillax on the bean bag, read the papers. Love how you can look out the full windows and admire the trees. If you're seeking a calm and peaceful stay, the feeling of simplicity and zen, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life in Singapore, this place is it! (Tips for tourists: This area can be a delight if you're into WWII history and paints a true portrait of what Singapore used to be. Definitely do not expect Orchard Road vibes) I gave 5 stars for "Location" as this serene establishment is perfectly meant to be where it stands. It adds to her character. That's it, Changi Cove. My sanctuary when i need a breather.
Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting with lovely staff.”
Changi Cove is such a lovely place to stay. The hotel is a large complex which also holds events but continues to have a very personal approach to mainstream tourists/travellers. Staff member Ramin is their customer service officer and on arrival he is the first point of contact and so so kind to everyone he meets. All staff are lovely. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, great beds and bedding and wonderful showers. It’s a quiet setting and a good option if you have been travelling for a while. Transportation to Changi Cove is simple via buses from Pasir Ris or Tampines. Very easy to get around and a 15 minute walk to Changi Village which has everything you may need. This has got to be one of the most affordable hotels in Singapore (price includes a very nice breakfast) for the comfort, the quality and the approach of staff. Thank you once again to Ramin. See you soon Changi Cove.
Excellent venue away from the "humdrum" in a tranquil and peaceful setting.”
Excellent stay at Changi Cove...The Hotel is in the most peaceful, tranquil and picturesque setting close to the water, Changi Swimming Club ( available to guests), and away from the "bustle" of busy Singapore. However it is close to "speedy" transport should you wish to go downtown to experience the sites, and food of singapore city.( MRT ). The highlight of this hotel is the peaceful setting, wonderfully maintained gardens in a jungle setting, not forgetting the truly magnificent breakfast to be had in the morning. Rooms are comfortable and cosy, and well serviced, and maintained. Staff are courteous, friendly and welcoming. Well done to the Changi Cove, I will certainly be back. A very easy hotel to review.
an excellent place for family vacation ”
We stayed at Changi Cove for 13 days. We enjoyed every day... It is difficult to find such a serene place like this in Singapore with trees and greens every where... The breakfast is superb... and after that the boardwalk by the beach is memorable... The staffs are very very friendly and well trained and well mannered and available 24/7... The amicable behaviour at the time of reception by Ibrahim so touched my son that he still misses him... My son is very restless and at the loby he ran here and there.. Instead of stopping him from doing so, they loved him so much that they gave him toys and pictures of super heroes like superman....The Changi beach is just 5 minutes drive away... and you can have all kinds of food at Changi Village Road.... You can go to Ubin by boat and enjoy the boat journey too... The shopping malls are not near to the hotels... the closest one Changi Citypoint and Tampanies Mall.... You can hire taxi through Grab and reach there within 10-15 minutes... I just had an amazing holiday at Changi... Will visit there soon... Lot of love from me and my family to all the members of Changi Cove...
Cosy and serene”
We had an awesome staycation in June. For the record, we stayed in a Double Room on the highest floor (6th level). Surrounded by nature, Changi Cove gave us a feeling of serenity; far from the buzz of the crowded island. It was as if we were not in Singapore; and yet close enough to civilisation - changi boardwalk in about 8-10 mins walk from hotel entrance, the nostalgic restaurant The Coastal Settlement is just across the road, and Changi Village (yummy food) about 8-10 mins drive. Fun and interesting surprises including the espresso machine, capsule swing and scribble wall in our room (inspiring us to create one at home too!); games lounge where we chilled out, played board games and snacked; table soccer + chinese and english chess available at the Verandah area. Beautiful memories captured and remembered. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, Changi Cove team!
Feels Like Home”
I needed a break from the hectic routine here in Singapore and I wanted some place that’s within nature. Changi Cove is excellent in providing what I was looking for. The doodle wall was perfect. The room was clean. The espresso, chocolates, and the swing chair were details that made it so special. The towels were soft and smelled so good. They had the best beddings. And of course, the cozy corners scattered around the hotel including the lounge and outdoor sitting areas were made for the coolest hangout. The changi beach boardwalk was a few stones away. Taking a stroll on wooden planks or on the sandy beach was memorable. The staff were all so willing to smile and help out. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back for another dose of relaxation. Thanks to Changi Cove for a beautiful weekend!
Beautiful relaxing location far away from the busy city of Singapore.”
Changi Cove is a brief 15 min or so drive from the airport, so a fairly good alternative to expensive stopover airport hotels. Location was so beautiful, peaceful & green, it was hard to believe it was in Singapore. The hotel is just 2 to 3 minutes walk from Changi Point Boardwalk, and a short early morning walk through lush forest initially brought me out onto a lovely beachside boardwalk. Stunning. The hotel breakfast was more than adequate for a hotel in this price range: eggs, cereal, fruit, pastries, toast, waffles, yoghurt, meat, Asian options, juice, tea, coffee. Staff were almost over-polite but I agree with a few reviews I read previously, the sleeping accommodation, is a bit of a walk, via 2 elevators from the reception & breakfast building, but all is wheelchair accessible. Overall, a decent & comfortable hotel, which I'd stay at again. It is NOT close to any high-rise buildings, the MRT, money-changers or shops; it's a true escape from the hectic pace of Singapore city.
A hidden gem!”
I could not have been happier about finding the Changi Cove for my stay in Singapore. It was great value for the money. It is a year old property. You enter a bright and airy lobby with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast consisted of hot and cold foods, beautiful fruit bowls, yogurts, breads and pastries, juices. The room was very clean, and the bed unbelievably comfortable. The wireless internet service is fiber optic and very fast. The hotel location is not for those looking to be in the center of it all, as it is some distance away from the tourist areas. But it's setting is in a lush green, quiet, wooded area, and is adjacent to walking and cycling trails which go to the beach or along the water and woods, and it is only a 15 minute walk to Changi Village, which is a quaint local village with numerous local, delicious foods and shopping. I was in Singapore for only 2 days for personal business downtown, and it was a 15 minute bus ride to the MRT to go directly to downtown, or a taxi ride of around 20 SD. After finishing in the city, it was a beautiful, relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. I will definitely stay here again the next time I need a place to stay in Singapore.
Could not rate highly enough!”
From the moment we arrived (late with two children and rather jet lagged) - we were treated with such wonderful customer service - higher than that of 5 star properties we have stayed in!! Our check out time was 12pm ... At 1pm we were called in the room - oops we were all still asleep! Check out was extended until 2pm and then On checking outand further discussion regarding our flights etc our check out time was further extended until 6pm without us asking - this was from the goodness of the hearts of those working Saturday morning! It may not sound like much however With two small children and two exhausted parents this gesture was by far the most sincere we have ever recieved. We will never again stay anywhere else other than Changi Cove - clean rooms, walls to draw on (for a 3 year old - heaven), great lunch ...... Our stay was flawless - cannot fault one single thing. I have been a hotel manager in NEw Zealand in a 4 star property and have worked in well known 5 start resorts in Australia and if I was the manager, general manager or CEO of Changi Cove - I would give all the praise and applause for your staff. Front Desk, Concierge, restaurant, cleaners - every encounter we had was first class. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - our stay will not be forgotten and will recommend your hotel to all!! Sahraei Family - night of Friday 26th August 2016.
A stunning and affordable hotel with exceptional staff near Changi Village.”
We had a twin bedded room (Room 409) which was exceptionally big by Singapore standards with ever so comfortable beds. It’s a 15/20 minute walk to Changi Village which has everything you might need and the Hawkers Centre for great food. The hotel provides complimentary sweet biscuits and water at reception (just by the Olive Cafe) and sometimes upstairs in the Lounge area. The lounge is open just to sit and relax - it’s exceptionally private, quiet and cool. If you are coming by public transport - get the MRT to Pasir Ris and then either bus 89 or 109 (cost is 1.70). Changi cove staff are excellent and Rahmin in particular is such a credit to management. This hotel has got to one of the best in Singapore for quality/affordability and rest.
A hidden treasure in Singapore”
Spent three nights at Changi Cove hotel as I was working at Changi airport. Very good value, lovely room with whiteboards to doodle and brainstorm on the wall. The only downside was the lack of facilities like a bar or restaurant, but I made up for this by going to another hidden gem, 'The Coastal Settlement' restaurant, a couple of minutes walk away. Great food, ambience and service, this restaurant became an extension of the Changi Cove experience. Great place to stay if you need quick access to Changi airport or if you want to explore the natural beauty and history of that part of Singapore.
Quiet and relaxing”
The stay was really great, we were literally happy with all that we came across in Changi cove. Located at a rather secluded area, together with the nature concept of the hotel, we were able to enjoy an extremely peaceful getaway from the stressful life. We really like the concept of the room, from the bean bag, coffee machine to the modern wall. Everything was just what we like it to be. Its more like a home than a hotel I would say, so relaxing that we didn't want to leave after the 2D1N stay there. The wall was the greatest, especially when you woke up with a wall full of love messages from your other half. I would recommend any couples living in Singapore who really had no more places to go for special date celebration, or in need or a quiet getaway, to try out Changi Cove. This new hotel may not be of 5 stars services or qualities, but it will definitely provide a peaceful rest from the normal hectic life.
Excellent location, great staff, nice getaway from bustle of city”
I was so glad I chose Changi Cove as a place to stay. Pleasantly surprised by how close it was to Changi village/beach- I took a leisurely 30 minute walk in the morning along the coastline, walked along soft, warm sand and dipped my toes in the tropical ocean waters and ended up at the lovely Changi Village. Definitely recommend it for those who are looking for a nice respite away from the bustle of urban Singapore, or even those on a day's layover. The staff was friendly and welcoming, food was great, my room was small, but more than adequate for what I needed. I can see myself returning! Thank you Changi Cove!
Singapore like you've never seen before”
I usually stay in low budget accommodation in Singapore as I'm usually in transit for a night or two. First of all the Changi Cove is close to the airport and totally away from the noise and traffic. Lots of greenery and the Cove is a perfect place to retreat. Clean, comfortable and helpful, friendly staff. The only gripe is getting from the lobby to My Place rooms can be confusing for the first time. Would be nice if some could show you the way. Otherwise it was great. Plus a nice 15 minute walk to Changi Village to eat.
Wonderful stay with nice breakfast!”
Been here the second time and room was equally nice for both occasions! It was spacious and very clean. The in-room swing is an added feature that we cant find in other hotels in singapore. Would suggest to include a small fridge to make it perfect! The breakfast serving no pork no lard is definitely a huge plus point for us muslim travellers around the world, which is very rare to find in singapore. Its the main reason for me to choose to stay at changi cove. If it has a halal certifed option, it would make this hotel a gem for me!
Returned for a second visit”
Having stayed at Changi Cove Hotel on our way to the UK in July, we had no hesitation in booking again for our stopover on the way back to Australia. The hotel and staff are wonderful. The place is as clean as a new pin and we enjoyed our time there. It is just a short walk to Changi Cove and the Beach Club is available to Hotel residents. It would not work for those who want to go shopping as it is in quite a remote location. But if you are simply looking for a place to catch up on some sleep and let your body relax mid flight to Australia, this hotel is great. And they make great coffee too. A taxi ride from the airport costs less than SGD 20. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Thanks Team Changi Covefor the birthday wishes on the doodle wall. A little effort from them actually surprises my boyfriend for his birthday. We also able to check out at 2pm which most of the hotels will not allow and definitely will demand for extra charges. This is our 2nd time staying at Changi Cove Hotel, I really love the concept of the room, the polite and nice staffs and the quiet environment. Even though the place is away from the city but we will definitely go back again. Cheerios to the staffs at Changi Cove Hotel!
The hotel was very quiet and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is close to the airport but about 1 hour and 15 minutes from downtown using public transit. Bus stops are located close to the hotel and several different lines will take you to the MRT. The MRT is very extensive in Singapore and easy to use. We used Google Map for transit routing, which included update transit routes and information. A scenic waterfront boardwalk is located within 5 minutes of the hotel. We walked part of it, which was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay at the Changi Cove again!
Staycation at Changi Cove”
Second time here for me. The staff have been extremely friendly and accommodating on both visits. Location is perfect if you're looking to get away from the city life. Food options were in abundance as Changi Village was just a few bus stops away. (Take a stroll to Changi Village if you don't feel like waiting for the bus. Lush greenery, restaurants and the old changi hospital are some of the sights you'd be able to see and smell on your way to Changi Village!) The only gripe I have about the room at Changi Cove is that it would have been nice to have a mini fridge. We weren't able to keep our drinks cold due to the lack of a fridge. Plus, the air con didn't seem to have been able to get cold enough to keep the drinks cool as well. Nonetheless, I would definitely come back here again and would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the city life for a few days :)
Relaxing, affordable and welcoming”
My stay was extremely relaxing and peaceful. Spent the weekend in Singapore on a last minute getaway and picked Changi Cove through Agoda recommendations. The hotel was clean, peaceful, well equipped, the staff extremely friendly and relaxed. The hotel is also waling distance to a bus stop which got to Singapore city within 30min. All up, a phenomenal stay and definitely one I will be recommending to others.
