Changi hotels & places to stay

I had an extended/overnight layover at Changi airport, before my flight to Athens. I was looking for a place where I could nap and shower, without leaving the airport. Ambassador Transit Lounge fit the bill. The nap suite was small, but comfortable. Ambassador offers a small gym, unisex toilets and showers, a spacious & comfortable lounge area, as well as food & drinks. There is free wifi available throughout the property. Unfortunately, it's not the quietest place. If you're planning on taking a nap, I recommend bringing ear plugs! Overall, this property offered everything I needed.

Have stayed at this location on several occasions...plus have tried the other transit hotels at Changi as well. There are so many pluses for the venue: > Comfy beds and bedding > Kettle (I travel with hot water bottle) > Tea, coffee & water in room > Swimming Pool - outdoor!!! > Spacious lounge > Lighting is soft > Clean EVERYWHERE! > In-room amenities - toothbrush, vanity kit, slippers, shower cap Only downside: > Doors are noisy so the clicking locks can be very noticeable. Considerations: > The bedrooms are always pretty cool. Take a pair of socks and sleep wear or like me a hot water bottle. > Ear plugs if you are a light sleeper (maybe they could add this to their room amenties kit?) Overall it is my favourite transit hotel when travelling solo through Changi. I will visit again soon.

I booked a Deluxe Hot Deal room (no breakfast included), and it's definitely one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in Singapore. The room is very clean, spacious, it has kitchen and its equipment such as electric stove, glass and plate and water boiler, dining table, washing machine, sofa with big screen TV, king size bed with big screen TV also. Bathroom is nice with bathtub. Hairdryer, satefy box, ironing set, and tap water for you to drink anytime. Staffs were so helpful they helped me to print my concert ticket from email with no fee. The hotel is so close to Expo MRT and it is right next to Changi City Point mall with many factory outles so you can get best price for shopping. But if you want to go to the city centre, it is quite a distance (very close to Changi airport), but all in all, I really had a great stay at Park Avenue Changi hotel. Definitely recommend this property fo traveller who are coming to Singapore.

It’s a very old chalet but I enjoyed my stay there — the price is very affordable for one night considering it’s in singapore. There are 4 guests and 2 single beds fit us fine. The room was also spacious however the chalet itself is very old: i would not recommend people that are very fussy. The room beside us are youngsters and the walls are quite thin and they were blasting songs loudly till 4am. I had to call the hotel staffs: it’s 24 hours, they sent a security over to the unit beside us. I’m thankful for that so i would rate the staffs 5 stars. The transaction when checking in/out is so easy if you booked on this app, would advise tourists/locals to book out 2 hours earlier so they are no hassle it only took us 3 minutes. Remember to bring $100 for deposit fee,. Any damages or dirts, you won’t be able to get your $100 back. — *** you can just smoke outside your unit so it’s quite convenient for a smoker like me Thank you for the great stay! ありがとうございますー！

Had a great experience with D'Resort. Two bus stops from Pasir Ris Bus Interchange (Bus No. 354). I love our room located at the Rainforest. Good view facing Wild Wild Wet. The other room I booked is Mangrove located at the side of the hotel. Mangrove room is also great but I love the Rainforest more. You can use the BBQ area at the Mangrove rooms for a fee. You can have your own party at the said area. If you are travelling with 2 or 3 persons choose the Rainforest facing the Wild Wild Wet view. Overall we love our stay at the D'Resort. They also have their own convenience store (Cheers) located at the 2nd level.

Stayed here last year. We love coming back to Changi Cove for a stay and we always leave the place feeling refreshed. Never came across another hotel like this since and i love many things about it. This time around they gave us a room quite far off and on the highest floor. It can be quite a walk to the connecting building if you're coming with the elderly so just let the lovely staff know in case you have a preference. Only hiccup during this stay was that the bathroom had a bad smell. However, we decided not to change rooms as it was late and we got comfortable on the swing by then. Not to worry as we didn't encounter this the previous stays. Perhaps looking from hindsight, i should've changed rooms and would recommend you to do so as well as the memory can really stick with you. Breakfast is always tasty and more than made up for it; it's the simplicity in the spread that makes me feel good. It's a humble spread compared to the big hotel chains but seriously more than enough for what you need at Breakfast. No extravagant or endless buffet "food going to waste" kind of situation going on here. Very responsible kind of feeling you get as a patron, good job Changi Cove! Another gem worth sharing is the Recreation Room, where we normally hang out after breakfast. Can't ask for a better spot for hot coffee, chillax on the bean bag, read the papers. Love how you can look out the full windows and admire the trees. If you're seeking a calm and peaceful stay, the feeling of simplicity and zen, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life in Singapore, this place is it! (Tips for tourists: This area can be a delight if you're into WWII history and paints a true portrait of what Singapore used to be. Definitely do not expect Orchard Road vibes) I gave 5 stars for "Location" as this serene establishment is perfectly meant to be where it stands. It adds to her character. That's it, Changi Cove. My sanctuary when i need a breather.

Contrary to reports, Village Hotel Changi is not the best spot for aircraft-spotting in Changi. During my stay at this hotel, I only see one A380 of Singapore Airlines flying above the roof of this hotel and I do not see any aircraft approach their landing at the airport by flying above the hotel. I need to walk out to Changi Beach opposite, walk for about 30 minutes to Aviation Park Road in order to shoot clearer pictures of aircraft taking off from Changi Airport. Village Hotel Changi is located next to Changi Village food centre, a market and Civil Service Club right next to Changi Beach. There is no public bus stopping in front of the hotel. The only way to reach the hotel is to board its complimentary shuttle bus service at Changi Airport. Its last free bus service at night is 10.30 pm. Beyond that, guests need to pay an expensive fee of above 50 SGD for a car transfer to the hotel. I will not recommend guests arriving after 10.30 pm to stay overnight at this hotel.

Recommended for business travellers who have appointments in East Side and looking for some quiet time away from the city. A lot of good local eateries at Changi Village (15-20 mins walk from hotel). 7-11, Convenience stores also located at Changi Village (15-20 mins walk from hotel), so do stock up if you don't like to walk that far. Also for couples and locals looking for a staycation away from the city. Best if you have a car to travel down to Changi Village to grab whatever you require. Else theres always the bus or grab! There is a bar located just below the hotel. Not too expensive...

If you have a really long layover in Singapore and you can’t stay in the hotels before immigration because you would like to explore the city for a day (without joining the tour group that Changi offers), then the Haven is definitely for you. The nap room is cosy and the shower rooms and toilets, although ‘shared’, are actually still private rooms for each individual. They were cleaned after every use by the staff, towels were provided as well. People were complaining about how cold the rooms were but to be honest, they were just right for me. The lounge area is also quite comfy and you can make do with it if you just want comfier chairs to nap in. If you want more privacy and a bit more security than the nap rooms would be better. The staff were efficient and accommodating and they adjusted my check in and check out period. The free breakfast that comes with an overnight stay is okay but if it’s not to your taste, there is a McDonald’s right across the hotel and more restaurants too

Was having a 10 hour transit in Changi from midnight to next day morning with 2 young children. The 6 hours rest was crucial to all of us. We woke up fresh and energetic and enjoyed the best airport in the world. Even though the price is not cheap, as every passenger transiting through Changi can claim a S$20 voucher from the airport, one can then use it as part payment for the room.

If you want a very clean, modern and luxurious hotel in the most convenient location to Changi airport, you can't go past the Crowne Plaza. We always stay here when travelling through Singapore as it's the perfect one night hotel to break up a long trip and is really comfortable, quiet and just all round perfect. Room has good amount of room, lovely bathroom (and bath tub) and the room gets pitch black so great for sleeping. Hands down you won't regret the extra little bit of $ you will pay (compared to other transit hotels in Changi airport) to stay at the Crowne Plaza.
